My husband & I went in today to get a title loan & were helped by Clemente. His customer service was amazing, he knew what he was doing with his job and helped us get the biggest amount possible! Perhaps I am alone here, as I note the very high rating this operation received. But I was shocked at the cost of doing business with TitleMax in general. In short, please understand what you are getting yourself into before you take a loan from them. I was told by an employee there that many do not. And I do understand that in this new Covid world we live in, people are finding themselves in hard times and may be desperate. My daughter was, and borrowed $1,000 from them and surrendered her title. Her minimum payment was $196 per month, WHICH WAS ALL INTEREST! She could have paid that $196 for years, and never paid anything towards the loan. This rate of interest would have been outlawed in the Middle Ages! Sometimes you have to do what you have to do, but this seems overly excessive. Please know what you are getting into before signing.
