Overall Kia is the only dealership at West Hills that I feel comfortable to go to. Richard the service manager was awesome and cared to listen to my concerns with car maintenance I needed. The snack bar was a plus for my children and all very friendly. Only negative was trying to get a callback was difficult even after leaving messages or requesting a call to get an update. Calls to customers can improve.

Salesperson was nice and professional as were the managers. Dealership is clean and in nice shape. I’ve purchased a lot of vehicles in the past from the west hills/Haselwood group and this would be the first time I’ve ever seen a dealership try to deduct $1800 off of a trade in for reconditioning cost. Rather disappointing to see a group I’ve done business with before try something that seems in lack of better terms, silly. This really makes me strongly consider not shopping at these dealerships anymore. Anyway it is true they don’t have dealer mark up but none of the other dealerships I’ve been to, including outside of this county have mark up. I’m not saying you shouldn’t shop here, I’m sure there are good deals to be had. Just be aware that at least $300 could be taken off of trade in value for detailing. It might feel like you are losing $300 to pay for a vehicle to be cleaned that you no longer own. My only recommendation is shop around. Driving 30 minutes to an hour for a better deal might be worth it.

It was a rainy Sunday morning in Bremerton as my better half & I was cruising the lot's in Kitsap (we hit every lot) searching for a new vehicle for her. As we did our thing we were approached by a very polite salesman Named Jordan Brown. He was very helpful with all my questions and patient as I picked over cars to find that perfect one we searched for in the rain. Jordan showed us the 2016 Kia Soul + and we knew immediately we found "THE ONE". Jordan grabbed the keys and test drive commenced. My better half drove in town and on highway and I had to beg to drive too (She really likes it). I got to drive back and what a great car to drive, no wonder she didn't want to let me drive. We go back to the dealership and went inside to do paperwork which included a 10 year 100,000 mile bumper 2 bumper warranty (The warm & fuzzy feeling). I played some cornhole with the crew and was given ice cold bottled water & offered popcorn. This was on Sunday afternoon and the whole crew was great to us (Friendly & Helpful). Thank you Jordan Brown for all the awesome help & Thank you to Payman for all your help that you gave us. You helped make my girl a happy Girl. And for that I truly thank you for the best car dealer experience we ever had. It's been a very rough couple years for us as she has battled cancer. You've made more of a difference in our lives than you know!! This is my second new Kia. Two years ago I went with a Soul. I leased. It was the best experience. Kia service staff is friendly and accommodating. My children quickly out grew my Soul so I came in to lease a Sportage. When the Sportage I wanted was not available, Alex my salesman pulled the Sportage and the Seltos next to each other so I could compare. I went with the Seltos for the AWD. I will continue buying my cars from West Hills Kia because they know how to treat their customers. Thank you Alex and West Hills Kia.

I have serviced my vehicle at this location on multiple occasions. Each time I come in with a problem, it is $80 to discern what the problem is, even if I tell them what it is. Then it is an additional exorbitant cost to have the work done. After making the wrong repairs on something, then making it up by doing the right repair pro Bono, I was willing to give them another chance. Just today, the 15 th of January went in for an oil change and told them my light fixture for the brakes were leaking. $80 for an oil change and inspection with an additional $80 to tell me the light fixtures leaked and needed repair. Then an additional $218 was what I was told would cost to replace the assembly per side. It takes me apx five min to get them on and off and I am not a car technician. When I went home to change the bulbs, the light assembly was still full of water. So what had $80 cost me? To tell me exactly what I told them and they didn't even appear to open the light fixtures to see if there was a fixable problem, just jumped straight to charging me. I attempted to call them and spent over an hour waiting to talk to the representative. Was then told there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager and am now waiting to see if I ever hear from them again. Don't take your car there unless there is a recall. Find somewhere else to do the oil change for half the cost. Do not get repairs done there. First, use YouTube and see if there is an easy solution, then take it to a local business and order the parts. Update: Richard from the West Hills Kia called me back after seeing complaint and offered to help repair my trust in the business. I have worked with Richard in the past and he has always provided excellent customer service. He offered to refund the $80 service charge and encouraged me to ask for him personally if there was ever any doubt or question in my mind about the service provided. I am updating the stars rating from one to three, purely on the service and satisfaction from having dealt with Richard directly.

Don’t bother calling the dealership. After trying for 3 consecutive days for reaching out to the dealership over phone , I had to switch to another dealership . Every time I called either no one responded or promised to get back but to no avail. I had to keep on waiting for them to call back . During all this time they sold the car I was looking for to some other buyer without giving me an opportunity to buy

For quite a long time now i had trouble trying to find a specific car i wanted. My girlfriend and i came to westhills and met Jeremy, honestly, he introduced himself confidently and let us do what we wanted to do that day. For weeks on, he helped me get the car ive been eyeing on. He wasnt pushy or annoying me about this and that. He worked with what i needed him to do, and he always gave me the option to back out and do what i feel like to do. Just bought my first car through west hills Kia. Gianni was the best and was absolutely the most helpful person we had seen. I spent the whole day car shopping but West Hills had the best customer experience and looked out for me more than anywhere else. Wonderful customer service and got us the best deals without us having to ask. Fantastic. A simply must go if you're in the market for a new or used car.

May 28,2021 update When I got my car the experience was amazing even though the process was long, but so worth it and that was two years ago. Now I updated my review because since having the car it’s been pulling teeth that every time I come and get service they never can find my information ( mind you you this was added ). I never understood why the hassle every time I come here🤦🏾♀️. I’ll keep that thought to myself cause I am feeling some type of way with West Hill Kia. Black ppl money is the same as anyone else and that’s facts.

I called to make an appointment to have the electronics in my 2013 Rio looked at. I was transferred three times to numbers which just rang and rang. After my third call, I reached someone who was able to make an appointment, but he did not seem to understand that I own a Kia, not a Chevrolet. I still don't know if I have an appointment with the Kia service department or the Chevrolet service department. I felt that the organization was saying "Please take your money somewhere else. It's not green enough for us."
Our customers are very important to us and we are sorry to hear we may have let you down! Our management team has been notified and should be reaching out to you in hopes of moving your experience in a more positive direction.

Kia doesn’t warranty any of their services. Don’t buy a car with Kia!!!!! Sales are nice, service are nice. But they don’t actually take care of you when it needs to be done. They talk bad behind customers back. Wait till your car gets high mileage they won’t fix anything.

Update: Review changed from 1 star to 3. After review I was contacted from sales department manager about my experience. it was a long conversation; hopefully it helps future buyers. I also received my car ride mats! Original Post: Car Purchase without the Customer Service. Before I begin my negative experience, I will give the positive the price tag for my Telluride EX 2021 beats the other dealers I contacted. But with that said if I had not placed a hold for the vehicle I would have possibly switched dealers because my interactions were more frustrating than exciting. I was assigned initially to Jenna in Jul 2020 as an online purchase. After placing a deposit, communication always initiated from me to dealer. She always took over a week to reply to my questions and 'oh by the ways' which came up during my 3 month wait period. She never responded to my questions without me checking in again 3 or 4 days later asking the status...and often times, I ended up just calling the service department to speak anyone else. I eventually complained to Scott who was the manager and refused to work with Jenna who was always being excused for being on leave. Scott gave me the ok to work with him directly in Aug 2020 and was never reassigned an agent. On the arrival for my car Sep 2020 I was contacted by Colton who asked for an ETA for my appointment, I gave a 4 hour time block the day prior and confirmed my planned arrival 2 hours prior on day of pick up. Colton however was tied up with a previous appointment, my file was not prepared, and was eventually turned over to Kevin. (Kevin did his best to salvage my frustration and me becoming a sudden appointment for him) No complaints on my part for Kevin. Ultimately however, for an almost $50,000 car purchase my car sale experience was mediocre at best and my car didn't even come with car mats, apparently if the factory forgets to send them, that is the Customer's fault. I was a Sales Quota not a valued customer based on the service I was provided.

Mike started us out over at Honda, but we wanted a Kia, so we were handed over to Jewels. The car didn’t arrive as early as expected, but when it did, the process was fast and simple. Jewels was very helpful and kept in contact to make sure we were always updated about the vehicles delivery. Our finance manager at Kia was top notch as well!! I highly recommend them!!

Mike Jones will be the reason I keep coming back to this dealership! He is truly a professional and made buying a new car simple. He is laid back and has a no pressure attitude! His extreme wealth of knowledge on all vehicles that are available to purchase he takes his time to understand your needs and gets the right types of vehicles that you are actually wanting! Just bought a new car from Andy at West Hills Kia and had the best customer service experience in a car dealership! I was shopping for a car in few different locations and chose them at the end. He and the whole team of West Hills Kia worked with me to find me the perfect fit based on my criteria and the price range. They went above and beyond and even stayed up open till night time to make sure my needs are met. I would recommend using West Hills Kia to all of my friends and that's how I got here as well, it was a friends suggestion to come over here. Bought my wife's vehicle here years ago. Dealership was great to deal with. Now we have all our vehicle maintenance done here since. The maintenance department is always courteous and respectful. They come out to the car as you pull in and help you right away. They will give you updates periodically and provide a voucher for the coffee stand in building. Great place.

What a fantastic dealership! My husband and I were having an awful time trying to find the perfect SUV. We had visited multiple dealerships over the span of two weeks with some good experiences and some very bad ones...We we're about to abandon the hunt when we decided to swing into Kia last minute. Although the Kia SUV's were beautiful and had fantastic consumer reviews we still weren't finding exactly what we were looking for. That's when we met Jules! With her lovely authentic and friendly demenour she greeted us and immediately listened to us explain our car hunting woes. She took the time to hear us out and inquire about exactly what we were searching for. She then reassured us that our experience at this dealership would be different and that she would do everything she could to make us have the best experience possible. Let's just say she delivered! We ended up finding an awesome used SUV on their lot that we absolutely fell in love with. Jules made the experience fun, fast and efficient! She fought to get us a great price, fantastic interest rate and even went out of her way to remove from our old car and reattach to the new one, a special license plate cover that meant a lot to us. The customer service at this dealership was top notch, not only from Jules our direct sales person but by everyone we came in contact with while we were there. My sales representative Julianna was wonderful. She was very informative and knowledgeable with all questions that I asked. She made the process easy; me being a woman going alone, I was a little apprehensive. In which I was not taken advantage of nor was I asked to look at other cars that I had no interest in. I was able to test drive the car including the freeway to ensure my feel of the car. The whole process was quick and easy. I was also given a free espresso and water while filling out my paper work and was also given a carfax report of the vehicle. I was given a tour of West Hills Kia, and all staff was very friendly. The dealer had an All State insurance representative on staff in which she gave me a wonderful quote that I accepted. Even though the dealership is far from where I live, I would definitely buy another car from them if need be.

I am a repeat customer at West Hills and Kia. I have purchased two used vehicles and taken all of my vehicles in for service at Kia even though they are other makes. I was happy with the customer service given by all at Kia so I chose to continue going to that service department until recently. I own a used Ford Escape and I purchased the extended warranty and service package. Unfortunately both times I’ve had my Ford Escape serviced at Kia I encountered unusual mechanical problems immediately afterwards, and issues I have had with the vehicle in general have not been addressed properly. When I returned it to have these problems corrected I was asked to pay diagnostic fees even though the vehicle had been in before for the same issues or they were caused by the service and they were not resolved. To their credit after discussion the fees were waived, but I was ultimately told to take the vehicle to West Hills Ford instead so could they could diagnose with Ford equipment, something I was not told was not able to be done when I started going to Kia. Most recently my key was accidentally set to a restricted account and Kia could not fix it. Upon taking it to Ford I was asked to pay large diagnostic fees for everything. I’ve opted not to have the Escape worked on, besides the key, because of the high diagnostic fees, even though I have do maintenance and after market power train warranty, even problems caused by service need diagnosed which Kia will not cover. I was told they were not safety issues. The key had a computer activated restriction accidentally placed on my only key called “My Key”. It can only be resolved by ordering a new key which costs ball park $400. Kia should cover it, since it happened during the service itself. Kia has refused to pay telling me that Ford said they couldn’t have caused the problem. I’ve spoken to both service departments and researched it, and know what the cause is. I went to both service departments yesterday since I never received any calls back. I was told by Ford that Kia said paying for it was a “hard no”, and that I should go to Kia to get faster and better results.I was told they assumed I would have gotten follow up from Kia, which I never did. When I went to Kia I spoke to the Service Manager yesterday I was told Ford told them they couldn’t have caused the problems and I was being told something different than he was. He said he would call their service manager and asked me to wait. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes with no follow up from him. I was treated well by the rest of the staff. I finally left, knowing no matter what a key had to be ordered and was irritated I wasted over an hour chasing something I should have had a call back about over a week prior. No resolve yet. I’m not fishing for free service or a key. All I want is for issues caused by improper service to be diagnosed & fixed.

What a refreshing change this dealership is from the typical car dealership. My wife and i just bought a new 2013 Kia Soul from West Hills Kia, and it was actually a pleasant experience! We met several of the employees here and each one was very friendly and helpful. We dealt directly with Barry Gardner and Bob Villa. Both were excellent to deal with, relaxed not pushy, and very very informative! They gave us lots of good information which really helped us to make informed decisions. We have only had the car a few days, but so far we really like it. Based on this experience i would return to this dealership in the future, and would also recommend it to anyone else. tom

Watch out for hidden fees! Took my 83 year old mother to West Kia to purchase a vehicle. Had a great experience with Sam the sales person and explained to him that my mom was on a budget unfortunately he was not able to budge on the price of the car but said he would take off the 700 and something dollar service fee for future visits since we live out of the area. He showed us paperwork stating that this would be the amount she would be financing. Between his desk and the office of Tyler the finance person the agreed-upon pricing had changed. After being there for 3+ hours and over 20 pages for her to sign I looked over her paperwork a few days later because of the holidays I noticed that instead of financing 12,900 she was financing 16,000+ also $700 plus service fee was never removed. Spoke with Tyler on the phone and we ended up taking another trip there to sign paperwork to have the two fees removed that should not have been on there in the first place now we are going on two weeks the extra wrap warranty that Tyler felt she needed but did confirm with us has not yet been removed and neither him or manager Kevin have returned my calls. Buyer beware!!! UPDATE! Thank you Ken Hynek for reaching out to us and resolving the issues on my previous post. We really appreciated the constant communication throughout the whole refund etc. process. Thank you Ken and West Hills Kia for helping my Mom get the car she’s been wanting… She loves it!

My husband and I came here in April looking for a vehicle. We were working with a lady who was fairly new on the job so she had another guy come with. He did not listen to a word I said. I told him the requirements I had and my wish list. He didn’t even care, kept showing us cars and vans that didn’t have any of my requirements let alone any of my wishes. We eventually bought a Kia Sedona down at the ford dealership(don’t even get me started). We hadn’t had the van for even two months when the passenger sliding door stopped locking. My husband brought the van in for the appointment and Landon was less than helpful. He and my husband had a miss communication and when I got there I waited to speak with him and he was extremely rude to me. Saying he couldn’t talk to me because he had so many other cars. Then when they brought out the van I pointed out that the roof racks I’d ordered weren’t on there. He told me it wasn’t listed. I showed him the invoice for paying for them and eventually they installed them. They then found out the locking mechanism was broken and they’d need to order one. I was told 4-7 business days. Almost 3 weeks go by (grace period due to 7/4) I call the parts department and find out the part arrived 2 days earlier. So here I am with a van that only 3/4 of the way locks. I get an appointment for the next day. I dropped it off at 9:30am. I was told by Lacey I will get a call from Landon at 3 with info. At 3:45 I text and ask for an update, Landon texts me back 30 minutes later and says it was done 15-20 minutes ago. The one good thing about this place is the gentleman who runs the cafe. He is truly amazing and so helpful.

Was looking for a hybrid SUV and contacted numerous dealers. West Hills Kia had a new Sportage Hybrid and was one of the only dealers selling at MSRP without a mark up. The internet coordinator Julia was by far the best contact at any of the dealerships. Very responsive and helpful. The offered a more than fair trade value as well. Got to the store and Lea helped me. She's newer but friendly and very eager to help. Whole process was smooth with no surprises. Would definitely recommend them.

Completely unprofessional and short with me. Listed 2 Kia Seltos on there website and when I got to the dealership they were both sold and the Sales men couldn’t be bothered to help. I got lectured on chip shortage and told to get one on order while the original sales associate played a game of cornhole! I don’t recommend coming here save your time and go somewhere else!

I was very apprehensive and dreaded looking for and buying a car after 20 years. I stopped at several local dealers only to be bombarded with younger people who are sent out to gather whatever information they could from me before a more experienced salesman came out to talk. I was very “put off” by the entire experience. Then I decided to stop at KIA, bracing ourselves for the same unwanted treatment. I was amazed at the “shopping experience” that I had with them. I was greeted by Julianna (Jewels). She allowed me the grace to move about, look at cars, while I told her what I was looking for in a car. She immediately showed me a KIA Optima EX. It was perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Yet, I wanted to be sure, so I left without it, to search some more. The unrelentless salesmen at the other dealers soured me from wanting to buy a car from them. I contacted “Jewels” and she said the car I liked was still there. I went over the next morning and sealed the deal! I also want to mention that not only did I work with Jewels, but also her partner Eric who was also very knowledgeable on all my cars options. He explained everything thoroughly and made certain that I understood them. I was welcomed to come back any time to ask any questions I had regarding my new car. I want to say EVERYONE else such as Jim in financing, the sales manager, and the head finance guy that did my paperwork were all very friendly, answered all of our questions and made me feel very welcome from the time I arrived until the time I left. I would give the entire dealership 5/5 stars. They all worked as a team and delivered 100% satisfaction! I will be happy to continue working with them in the future.

The employees were welcoming and helped us buy a new car with minimal issues! Jewels was super genuine and kind throughout the entire process. She helped us save nearly 3k with military discounts and other negotiations, despite them obviously having a set price in mind, as they're a car dealership! The financial staff members were just as helpful, guiding us through the process the entire way and answering any and all questions we had! They have tons of protections for your vehicles and tons of different cars to select from. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. If you go here, ask for Jewels and everything will be okay!

No hassle. No pressure. No nonsense. From the Tom Tanner who handled my inquiries, to Travis Olson who handled the sale and got the car ready for pickup, the outstanding work of the finance manager Tyler, and Kevin the sales manager, everyone gave 100% to make me feel welcome, be attentive to my needs, and to give me the best possible deal. While I won't automatically trust every dealership, I would trust the West Hills family of car dealerships with any purchase. If I have any complaints it's that all the T names gets confusing. I apologize if I got anyone's name wrong.

The good. The servicing was completed. The not so good. I arrived spot on time for my 2:30pm appointment and was not greeted or helped for 10 minutes. I saw at least a half a dozen employees milling about placing balloons (one service advisor was helping someone in the waiting area).I was reluctantly "helped" by someone on break that didn't have answers to my service questions. The 30,000 mile service was different than my Kia Sportage manual and the pricing was not posted. I noticed a rental car was offered as part of the service! This was NOT offered and was not available online, thus I had made arrangements to be picked up by a friend. I was told it was a four plus hour service and they would contact me by 7pm. I was called 2 hours later to say my car was done. Nice, but how did they get four hours of work done in two? Left me a little unsure about the quality. If they did less, because my car required less, does it cost less? I noticed the car was not washed when I picked it up. I asked about this as I was paying and was told I would get a wash certificate. I didn't. As I was talking with the advisor, another advisor rudely interrupted and pulled my advisor away without an excuse me or anything. Just left me standing there. Additionally, I was shown a multi point inspection form in full color, and then given a black and white one to take home. They kept the color? They see it every day and can transpose. Makes no sense. I think a little customer service training is in order. I'll head elsewhere next time. I usually don't write reviews, and tend to give others the benefit of the doubt (insert the overused COVID card here that business love, and I get it), but this was just OFF. I hope the service manager bothers to read it.

Took my Kia in last week for a typical oil change and tire rotation. After waiting 5 minutes to be seen for my appointment, I signed for the agreed upon estimated price and waited inside for my service. While I was waiting a sales manager and salesman decided right in front of me was the perfect place to settle a work dispute. I was told my service would be just over an hour and then, two hours later and after twice what I thought I would be paying, my car was finished. Not sure where they are getting their parts or mechanics, but it doesn’t take an extra 45 minutes nor does it cost $60 for an air filter. Overall my experience was dismal at best and I look forward to taking my business to a smaller shop. Edit: After seeing my review I was contacted by the West Hills Kia GM, Ken. He was very professional, understanding and genuinely desired to resolve the situation. We were able to discuss my concerns and come to a mutually beneficial resolve. I am quite impressed by how he handled my concerns and his initiative to make improvements.

Bottom line up front: Great customer service, engaged management, professional and courteous staff. West Hills will meet your needs and exceed your expectations. My wife and I came during a very busy sale on Memorial Day weekend. We were actually only here for regular maintenance on our Niro, but we saw the trade-up opportunity advertised and decided to take a look at options. The sales staff, managers, and finance folks were all very personable yet professional. We never felt like we were being pushed into a decision to upgrade or buy anything. Although we did end up making the decision to upgrade to the newer and larger Sorento (hybrid) we misunderstood what features were included. (I am disabled and I really need the 360 parking sensors and adaptive cruise for stop & go/following distance settings.). Lucky for us, a manager (Kevin H.) got involved to help clarify. He wanted to make sure whether we left with or without a new vehicle, that we left Kia satisfied and happy. Through careful questioning and friendly dialogue Kevin made sure he understood exactly what we needed, how to meet those needs, and then he explained the different options they had available to meet our needs. With Kevin’s assistance we were able to find the perfect vehicle, at a price we could afford, without compromising on necessary features. Hands down, the best car buying experience we’ve ever had. KIA is known for its great customer service and West Hills is no exception. Highly recommend coming to this dealership for any of your service or car buying needs.

I had several phone calls with the dealership to establish a price as I had decided on the model I wanted. I spoke with Cynthia who was great and emailed me a complete estimate of cost. They were able to get the color I wanted also. Alex helped me at the dealership and went over the car's features with me. Justin assisted me with the financing and was very efficient. I bought my first car at west hills Kia and it couldn't have gone better. It was a great experience that allowed me to understand the payment structure and the car I was buying. My Salesperson, Colton, took me on test drives and informed me of all the features each car had and allowed me to feel extremely comfortable with my purchase. Absolute best experience I've had at an auto dealer. I loved Julie (Jules) and the entire team that worked with us. I went in for a service appointment and had wanted to look at an upgrade and walked out with a brand new 2019 Kia Sportage with every bell and whistle I wanted very near to the price I wanted. Highly recommend this Kia dealership, they're a step above the rest for sure as far as the people, the amenities of the dealership, and the cleanliness. All 10/10.

Our time at west hills was honestly great. We bought a 2017 F350 from Colton through West Hills Kia a couple of years ago. We only planned to “look” but ended up buying our 2018 Kia Sorento from West Hills Kia. Terry the sales person who greeted us was helpful and courteous, no pressure tactics. We had done our research so it really just came down to who was going to treat us with respect and not try hard sell us. We are very pleased with not only the car, but each staff member who we came in contact with during our buying experience. We’ve only bought used cars up until now.
