Horrible branch. Went to Deposit money today an the teller told me they have to put my money on a two day hold. I asked why and she explained That I would have to have in my account already near the amount of money I’m looking to deposit. I asked why as I’ve never had to do that before and she said they have been getting a lot of fake checks and I explained I’ve been a member with them for ever and that Ive made deposits before well over the amount that I was looking to deposit today. with equal amount of funds that I have in there now I never had an issue. Not my fault if your staff doesn’t know how to verify a check is real or fake.

Was making my payments online o the last day of the grace period per the contract tract. Found out that means they payment isn’t posted for several days and I have been hit with late fees. When asked about I was told that is their policy but if I go into branch branch and pay the payment is posted that day. Read co tract to them that says payment must be made not posted and it didn’t matter to them. Talk about a way to increase their bottom line

We were preapproved for a mortgage, but when it came time to discuss finalizing things, the loan officer had none of our w2s, which were provided during the preapproval process, was “not receiving” any emails when we resent the information, and when asked about a federal program was not able to provide any information beyond a brochure with broken links. My husband has been a customer at this bank for years, but now we plan on closing all accounts

Told one thing then told another. This bank is not the greatest I’ve ever been too. Everything is based off credit and if you want even checks you were told you could get they say your credit isn’t good enough... terrible service and I will be closing my account after years of being here... I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even my own family. I guess I should of listened to all the people I know when they told me not to use this bank

DO NOT START ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THESE COVID-19 TIMES! Obviously taking more of your money instead of keeping people safe is more important to this company, have come down with covid twice in January, when I called in to make my payment over the phone they wanted to charge me an additional $15 to use my checking account and $30 if I put it on my debit card!!! What a crock is the only company that I deal with that has such asinine fees. Was no way that I was going to be forced into having to pay additional fees for keeping my account current! Drove in and paid them in person at the office. DO NOT START ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THESE COVID-19 TIMES!!! If there were options for us to make the payment privately without having to come to your establishment in person while sick 😷 why were these not shared with us when we called in!! Obviously your business is more interested in making an extra buck vs helping a customer in need!!! I stick with my original assessment of your company that I have shown in all caps! Even in you reply you showed no way for me to reach out to you!!

2/22/2022 Five years later and these CROOKS are still showing that there is a balance due (ALL was paid off by Insurance). Would have never known, except had a credit report pulled and it shows. This credit union should have its charter taken. Thieving Iowa Credit Union. Beware to Borrowers!!!!!! On May 9th, my daughter's car was totaled due to hail and tornado. Five weeks later, it is still a fight with this horrible institution. The insurance company, this corrupt credit union, and the unscrupulous gap insurance company that STILL has not paid. She used this c.u. because BAXTER uses them for financing---- I am grossly disappointed in the lack of compassion and integrity that I have experienced throughout this ordeal. The next step is to file a complaint against the CU with the department of banking. I think when they find that a credit union is trying to get double paid by insured's benefits and gap insurance they may take interest. Don't finance through BAXTER. Don't use Veridian CU. NO STARS----NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS INSTITUTION

First off, I like that they are Credit Union. I have my house and car loan through them, also switched my checking accounts here as well. I have been very happy with them and the service they have provided. Had a couple of issues that were my fault for not paying close enough attention when I first moved my house loan and they resolved them for me quickly and efforlessly. I have had nothing but good experiences here so far. Update: I find the new charging of a $10 card replacement fee and $50 expedited card replacement fee to be a little absurd.

Amazing Customer Service ! the help desk took my info just 10 min before close and got me with a personal banker Kylie Thurman. Its 5 min before they close but she stayed and help me set up my accounts. She stayed the extra 20 min to get me all set up... Im a RAVING FAN of Kylie and the bank to allow her to stay and finish helping me ! Also first thing the next day got ahold of me to get me answers to questions i had... Im now switching my banking needs over to them !

When I came back from working overseas and started working I heard of Veridian and just the fact its a Credit Union you automatically know their looking out for you and your best interest. Everyone always greets you and make you feel like family. I would always recommend Veridian to friends and family. My twins have started their accounts.
