Our building experience with Tom O’Brien has been great so far. Building a new home can be a very stressful experience, especially in the current wild and unstable economy. However, Chris Masterson, our Sales Professional, has been extremely helpful in guiding us through the process and responsive when addressing our concerns, offering design ideas, and being very transparent regarding price and timeline. And with the help of Reagan Oakley, our Design Professional, we are confident that the interior and exterior design of our home will feel modern and fit with our personal style. We look forward to finishing our new home and starting a new chapter of our lives.

As first time home buyers, initially new home construction wasn't even on our radar. However after realizing all the great benefits from a new build, we started our journey. We interviewed a few other home builders, and ultimately landed on Tim O'Brien Homes due to their focus on quality and their ability customize but without the overwhelming choices that comes from full customization builders. Our journey began with Kimberly Valenzuela who introduced us to their system. She was extremely kind and supportive the entire way through. Most of our communication was done through Samantha Tiry, who we cannot speak highly enough about. She was there through every step of the journey. We were very thankful for her prompt communication and being able to answer all of my (sometimes ridiculous) questions and requests. Mallory & Reagan were a lot of fun in the design studio and gave us great tips & pointers as we made our selections. Although we did have our Construction Managers change over during the process, we ended up with the home of our dreams. If you're looking for a home building solution that doesn't involve making an overwhelming amount of decisions while still having plenty of options to choose from, focuses on quality & energy conservation, and won't surprise you with significant changes mid-way through a build, then my wife and I highly recommend Tim O'Brien Homes!

I have had an extremely positive experience at Tim O'Brien Homes Madison division. The quality of construction is in the top 10% of homes I have seen in the Madison area, and they are quick to remedy issues in the rare instance that something doesn't go right. Chris Masterson offered great insight about floor plans, especially window and light placement, and worked tirelessly to get me the best price and all the features I wanted. Reagan Oakley (selections coordinator aka designer) has a great eye for style, and worked with me on creating my ideal modern home with some contemporary flair. The only thing to keep in mind, is that, like any other production home builder, once you sign contract, it is extremely difficult to make additional changes to finishes or design.

I really like Tim O'Brien Homes. They have variety of styles that you'll love and fit in to your budget. Mainly, Tim O'Brien homes are spacious, energy efficient and, they install quality products. In the beginning, there was a little delay but they catched up in no time and I'm fully satisfied with the building process. It was really easy to contact my Realtor/representative, Chris Masterson. He provided me fast responses and/or prompt replies to my questions/concerns. I really enjoyed working with Design Studio as well. Special thanks to Reagan. Thanks my construction manager, Alex for providing me updates/concerns as required. It was a smooth process so far ( my house is under construction). My husband and I were delighted to find TOB. Every employee we met was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. Jamie was a joy to collaborate with. She had timely answers to all of our questions and genuinely cared about making our dream house come true. She even embraced the unique aspects of building a home to include a basement model railroad!

We are working with Amy Roehl and Jamie Foley at Tim O'Brien Homes. They have been so supportive and helpful though out the planning process. They were able to connect us with other people we needed help from, made calls on our behalf to help keep the process moving, and have been very transparent through out the entire process. Thanks to the team at Tim O'Brien we are living in our dream home. Samantha helped us find the perfect floor plan, and was SO patient and accommodating when we made some tweaks and changes. She was always so quick and responsive, and I felt like she was really rooting for us and wanted to help us create the perfect home. Reagan was so patient and really listened to us in selections. She looked at things from all angles and helped us make informed decisions that we felt confident about. Jason and Travis were so helpful during the building process. They were quick to communicate when we needed something and kept us up to date on things. Samantha and her entire team went above and beyond to make our dream home a reality and we couldn't be happier or more grateful to have found them!

We are in the homestretch in the building of our new multi-gen home with Tim O’Brien, and it has been an all around awesome experience. This is an incredibly challenging time/environment (supply chain, labor, etc…) and the entire Tim O’Brien Team has been great to work with at every part of the process, making sure it’s fun, memorable and exciting. Chris Masterson has been especially great to work with as our New Home Sales Professional. Chris has worked hard and collaborated well both internally and externally to ensure that we have everything we are looking for, stay on track and to keep us a part of the process and in the loop along the way. We are mid-way through the process of building our new home and Samantha Tiry has been with us every step of the way! Samantha has been amazingly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. She was our first point of contact when we first looked at a Tim O'Brien model home, and she has continued with us as we finalize build elements even as our walls go up. Our lot had very specific build challenges that Samantha helped us navigate. First off, if you are going to build, build with Tim O'Brien. You MUST absolutely ask for Chris Masterson. He was the absolute best sales agent and we feel so grateful and lucky to have had him for our process. He's down to earth, realistic, gives you honest opinions, super communicative, and helps gets things/requests done, if possible. Home building, which is supposed to be super stressful (which it still was!) was definitely made easier, I am sure, because we went with Tim O'Brien and Chris. It was honestly a super exciting and fun process for us. Andrew and I are first time home builders and came into the process with the help and expertise of our parents. We initially sought out cookie cutter home building companies but ultimately felt that it wasn't the right fit as we kept asking for customizations that couldn't be accommodated. Custom homes, on the other end of the spectrum, were completely out of our range. On online research, I stumbled on Tim O'Brien homes, a semi-custom builder. I honestly did not know what this truly meant until we went through the process and boy are we glad we found Tim O'Brien! Semi-custom is the absolute best way to go. I remember our first meeting vividly when I asked "Can we move this wall and change the orientation of that room?" and they said "Absolutely". You get the custom experience without the crazy custom cost and still have incredible quality and value. You first start by picking a lot that Tim O'Brien owns or you can build on your own lot. There are many set floor plans to choose from that can be modified/customized to your lifestyle. Lots of little decisions are cut out and there is just the right amount of decision making and room for customizations, especially if you are a busy couple! Not all requests can be fulfilled given supply chain issues, but the majority of our requests were accommodated. Mallory, our design specialist, was awesome to work with and truly took time to understand and create our vision! We feel incredibly blessed to build a dream first and what will be a very long-term home that will we be growing as a newlywed couple in, raising a family in, and making cherished memories in! If had to do it all over, I would always choose Tim O'Brien. Construction starts soon but our experience so far has been 100/10. I am a very particular and picky person and Tim O'Brien has so far 100% fit the bill.

We purchased a brand new home from Tim O'Brien Homes in DeForest this winter and worked with Chris Masterson (builder's realtor) throughout the transaction.
