Great experience on a new car purchase. Worked with Luke Thomson in sales and Matt Schnell in finance. Although there was a bit of a wait for the car to ship, there was good communication about the progress from the port to the dealership. They were more than fair to deal with and didn't add markups or hard sells on any extras in an environment they definitely could have. They even offered a competitive trade in allowance to boot. Overall, a straightforward, solid experience.

Bought a highlander from East Toyota Madison today and couldn’t have asked for better service. Luke, our sales person was excellent and Robin who went through details of the car with us was superb. TJ in financing was also very good. Did not feel any pressure through the whole process and got treated very fairly. Been buying cars for over 50 years and have never had such a stress free experience.

Ben in parts was exceptional in his efforts to be candid and transparent, going so far as to suggest warranty coverage. While the part in question wasn’t eligible, Ben didn’t need to make the suggestion as he did. Would love to see the whole auto industry solve their supply chain issues soon! Car dealerships are not really a fun place to hang out at unless there are new vehicles to look at!! The only reason why they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the time it took them to prep the vehicle. I had an appointment at 1 and was done with the paperwork by 1:20. Left the dealer and it was almost 3. Whatever the reason for this, it just needs to be fixed.

I have not purchased a vehicle from here yet but the GM, John Wineke, has provided an inventory update on their website regarding new vehicle purchases. In the letter, he assures you that they will only be selling to local customers and NOT above MSRP. This blew me away. Lots of respect to this dealer and the GM for sticking with customer care and reputation over profits. I have been searching for a Prius Prime for months with no luck, after reading this message, I will be waiting to purchase from one here.

Took my vehicle in this month for scheduled service. Now getting calls from 3rd parties on my personal cell phone, "Recent service suggests you are not on a warranty" They are hounding me at work. Will never do business here again.
Scott, There are hundreds of companies that use strategies like these to sell service contracts. As a dealership, we actually provide this service and don’t provide your information to them. The fact that everyone services their vehicle may be why they took this angle but can guarantee it hasn’t come from or thru East Madison Toyota. I've always bought really old, private-party cars. I've looked at dealerships in the past, but they are often pushy and talk down to me (as a female), making me extremely hesitant. But my new job finally demanded a new(ish) car. My experience at East Madison Toyota was really awesome. I honestly would never have thought I'd say that. Jason Schultz was friendly, open, and talked to me like I had a functioning brain. He let me test drive a few cars and was happy to proceed at my pace. Since I felt pretty at-ease I did something I never though I would, I bought the car the same day. Normally I am more cautious, but the whole experience left me feeling comfortable with the decision. Haggling happened, as expected, and I got the car for a little below what KBB said the Toyota-certified price should be. Financing was also a very pleasant experience, with friendly people. They did try for the warranty up-sell, but were very honest about what everything entailed (including that I had up to a year to buy the warranty). It was very low pressure when I said I'd take that year to decide. He let it go and moved on. Jason then took the time to show me everything I could possibly want to know about the car. I was not expecting this. Since I'd already signed my life away, I was ready to be handed keys and shoved out the door. But, instead, I learned about every nook and cranny of the car. I'm sure I'll forget some of it, but it was very nice and showed real attention to customer service. The car is spotless and awesome, as it should be. Only annoyance is that I forgot to get them to remove their stupid emblem from the back. I hate that thing already. Over-all I'd recommend stopping by. ;tldr I'm writing a 5 star review for a car dealership. Am I in a parallel universe??

Had to have yet another recall on my 2013 Corolla. When I set the appt, the young lady on the phone offered me a loaner and said, "We will have cookies!" Guess what? No loaner and zero cookies, or crackers or chips. Little things matter. Words and promises matter.

We purchased a used Toyota Venza with a 100K Toyota Certified warranty. Service and oil changes were done at East Madison Toyota.When the Venza began using 2+ quarts of oil per 5K oil change at 60K miles, I attempted to have the engine repaired under the Toyota Certified warranty. East Madison Toyota said the premature oil consumption was "acceptable" and would not honor the warranty. I will never make the mistake of buying another vehicle here. Smart Motors is a much better choice.

We purchase our second vehicle from East Madison Toyota in September, a used Honda Odyssey. We had a wonderful experience and were very please with Matt Ingram's service. Unfortunately, seven short months later we started experiencing some issues and found out we needed a new transmission. In light of an undesirable situation the entire East Madison Toyota team has been fantastic. We had to weigh whether or not we wanted to pay to replace the transmission or consider a new vehicle. A couple other Honda dealerships that had seen the van and provided the confirmation that the transmission needed replaced were vying hard for our business and while it was tempting we wanted to give East Madison Toyota the opportunity as well. We really wanted to keep our business with them because of our past experiences so we were very pleased when we were able to make a deal to lease a 2021 Sienna. This is the first time we've leased so there was definitely some initial skepticism but all of our questions and concerns were addressed. If I had to note a negative it would be the slim inventory on new Sienna's (3 at the time). I'll just keep reminding myself that the awesome fuel economy of the hybrid outweighs the fact that our only color option is our least favorite vehicle color - black. :)

My experience working with east Madison Toyota was great. I cannot yet speak to the service department or quality of the warranty because the car is so new but I would recommend checking them out. Buying a car during a pandemic has been weird, normally there is a lot to choose from And you have some leverage. They supply is so low right now so that is not currently part of the equation. That being said I did end up getting exactly what I want and I am pleased. Working was Tashi was great she answered all my questions and I felt well taken care of by her and her team.

My experience from the time we walked in the door until our service was completed was flawless. Tyler in parts and Joel in the service department were professional and incredibly helpful. My husband and I purchased a 2020 Rav4 hybird from this dealership. Everything went well until a few months ago when we realized they only gave us one key fob. My husband called to request an additional fob at their expense. We felt we paid for it initially and never received it. They refused saying it was too long since purchase time and we probably lost it and were being less than honest about only receiving one. My husband is 71 and I am 69, we live our life with honesty and integrity and were offended by such a suggestion. We were also told the fob would cost $400. We called the Corp offices who assured us they would work to find a solution. That never happened and in fact Corp never returned our phone calls. We have given up dealing with this dealership and have since ordered a new fob from a local toyota dealership. It cost us $200. So now we know that East Madison is not interested in helping their customers and they also do not tell the truth about the cost of items. We are in the market for a new Tacoma truck but will not consider East Madison. They could have left us happy customers instead they have lost our business. A word of warning to potential buyers, they may not stand with you once your have purchased your vehicle.

East Madison Toyota tried to scam my daughter after she agreed to order and pay for a 2022 Toyota Camry. The salesman wanted her to pay them a $500 deposit towards the new car and they wouldn't commit to ordering it or having the car she wanted to order at any time. Total scam!

Did an oil change that took about 2 hours. The "East Toyota" provides a complimentary multi point inspection, while changing the oil. I had a low tire pressure light on and the low engine coolant level, when I brought my car in. No one mentioned those things then they gave me my keys back, which makes me concerned about that “free multi point inspection”, since “low tire pressure” light is an obvious reason to tell me that it needs attention. Instead, they said everything is fine. Two weeks later I had a check engine light on. It was one of the sensors. They recommended a full inspection for 270$. Besides the 2 sensors they found out that the axle needs to be replaced. Total cost 2300$. This was Thursday. I was told the car will be ready Friday. No one called me during the day on Friday. Around 4pm I called them to find out that they don’t have the parts and the car will be ready Monday afternoon. This stuff happens, but it would be nice to get a call, when something like that happens. Monday, I got no calls again. I called them in the afternoon to find out that the car will be ready Tuesday. Tuesday no calls again. I called in the afternoon, and they told me that they broke my steering line, and the car will be ready Wednesday. No calls the whole day Wednesday. I drove there after work and talked to the manager directly. I found out that the car is ready, and I owe them 3500$ instead of 2300$. After some arguing that I signed that I would pay them 2300$ and the car was supposed to be ready in one day, not six, I ended up paying 2300$, which I don’t think is fair. Next day in the morning I saw a puddle of some oily red liquid under my car. Took my car back to them on Thursday. Picked it up Friday. I was told that they installed the wrong part, and that is why it was leaking. Next day I was washing the car and noticed that the driver side front wheel bolts don’t look right. TWO of them were not tied!!! I was able to unscrew them with my bare hands!!! I checked the rest of the bolts, and they were fine. Besides the fact that sterling fuid was everythere under the hood Two weeks later my A/C compressor broke. Obviously, I took the car to a different place. Compressor was replaced and the mechanic took his time to check other stuff on the car, like the bad exhaust system that needs to be replaced, and the rusty points on the frame. East Toyota didn’t mention any of that, even though I pointed out that the exhaust sounds too loud and asked them to look at it. They said it looks fine and needs nothing. And this was 270$ full inspection. Now I am driving my car and the steering wheel shakes at 60 miles/h. I paid East Toyota 160$ for an alignment less than a month ago and it would be logical to ask them to redo it wright, since they have a 12 months warranty. But I will pay someone else to do it, since I don’t believe East Toyota is capable of doing anything right. Conclusion: -Bad customer service. Don’t expect things to be done on time or that anyone will call you with the updates. You are overpaying for the service at the certified center, but you are not getting good service. -Bad mechanical service. Don’t expect that things will be done right or on time. They might even break something that wasn’t broken or do something dangerous like not tying all the wheel bolts. -Don’t expect a fast oil change. I wouldn’t be faster than 1.5-2 hours. Don’t wait there. Drop your car and come back later. -Don’t trust “complimentary multi point inspection”. No one would look at your car, and they would tell you everything is fine, unless you are missing the engine. My experience was bad, and I paid over 2000$ for my lesson. Don’t make my mistake, go somewhere else. Update: The comment of the manager under this review means nothing. I emailed him weeks ago. No response. Not even surprising. Just another reason not to deal with this place.

Car shopping with my daughter for her very first car was an outstanding experience. Fil Diaz Duran was, in my opinion, the perfect example of how all salesmen/women should be. At no point did we feel pressured, he was kind, respectful, and listened to our wishes. He provided all of the information we asked for and made the experience very smooth. When I shared that we were planning to do some shopping around, he did not make us feel uncomfortable or pressured whatsoever. I bought my car across the street at the Toyota dealer and also my car before that from there. I'm a toyota fan for sure. I also prefer to take my car to them for repairs and oil changes. However, this time I was a bit disappointed. Their new policy, per covid, is to have guests make appointments for oil changes, so it was a surprise when I pulled up, that I couldn't just wait my turn and have my car serviced. I had to call, set up an appointment, and then return at that later time instead. Then when I did show up for my appointment, I had to wait 25 minutes before they pulled me in. I don't think that should happen when I had to make an appointment. Finally, I don't feel they tend to care as carefully as they once did. I was in and out in 10 minutes and am not sure they checked everything as my "checklist" indicated. I sat in the car during this entire interaction and observed the workers standing around more than looking under the hood. Oil changes are nearly $65 now and that's not for the tire rotation. So, I do expect a bit more and was disappointed. I probably won't be returning because of all the above and that's unfortunate for me and for them. I was a good customer for many years.

Jeremy promptly answered my inquiry about the truck in which I was interested. We agreed to meet the next morning around 10. Arrived about 10:30 and the place was so busy I thought they were having a buy one get one free sale. Met with Jeremy and arranged for a test drive. It was obvious that Jeremy was multitasking, but he handled the pressure very well. A few hours later and I was driving home in the third truck purchased from this dealership.

Everyone I worked with was excellent. I ended up having a last minute appointment close to my car appointment and when I let them know I would have to leave my car appointment by a certain time to make my other appointment everyone stepped up and got the job done quickly. My wife and I purchased a used vehicle (non-Toyota) from East Madison Toyota a few months back and were treated like we were buying a brand new 2020 Land Cruiser off the showroom floor. The showroom itself was immaculate and the help yourself coffee and refreshment bar was loaded with fresh baked goods and steaming hot coffee. (unlike CarMax where you can't even get a cup of coffee???). More than a couple times we were given warm smiles and "how you doing?" from passing by employees with nothing to benefit from us. The experience became fun even during the monotonous ritual of paperwork, as there fiance guy is extremely likable and made a game out of using his virtual paper signing tabletop. All in all, it felt good inside this dealership. Not something that comes easy these days. I would highly recommend East Madison Toyota to friends and family. They probably build the most reliable vehicles, so when it comes time to replace "Dad's" vehicle we just may have may to get back and check out that newest Land Cruiser on the lot.

Andrea in the service department did an amazing job today. 2/16/21. I just worked an all night shift out on the highway in the snow and was very tired. When I came in I came in exactly when rhe doors opened up at 8am. I had an appointment for later in the day and told her about my appointment. She offered to have me drive it in and they would get everything set up in the system and take care of it when the time arrived. She offered me a nice place that I could relax in in their lobby and even the smaller "kids" room that was there if needed for more quiet area. She could see how exhausted I was and wanted to make sure that if that didnt work then they coulf get me set with a loaner car so I could at least go home and rest and pick up my car later in the day. I opted to stay at the shop due to distance to where I live. A few hrs later they woke me up and were very calm quiet and peaceful about it and let me know everything was taken care of. Thank you Andrea customer service was top notch. Great job to the service team as well who completed all services in a super timely manner.

Went to Smart Toyota on Odana and had a bad experience so decided to give this place a try. Great experience! I had ordered oil change and tire rotation for my 2006 car. They called me and said my tire rotation axis looked good, and checked if I still wanted the tire rotation done. I said no, and my bill came out to only $34 for oil change. The other place I went to always ended up charging me over $100 for a general checkup and oil change. Will be back even though it’s a further drive for me!

I recently purchased a new 2019 Toyota Camry. Mikel Adams did a fabulous job helping me find the model that was right for myself and my family. Everyone there was very friendly, nice, and accommodating! The dealership is clean, customer waiting area is spacious and is well stocked for customers. Very nice selection of vehicles, good accessibility, and a no hassle experience. I was able to look through the lot without being harassed by people trying to make a sale. There were people available as well should I have questions. Over all, my experience was very pleasant. If you need someone to speak with, Gary Cooper is your guy. Friendly, experienced, and very knowledgeable. Gary made it a to talk with me, not about vehicles or what he could offer me, but about things we found interesting, such as motorcycles. We had been looking for a newer vehicle for a bit and stopped at other locations prior to East Madison Toyota. We were very impressed by all the measures taken at East Madison Toyota the other day when we had the oil changed and tires rotated. We never left our car, the workers all wore masks and gloves. They were very conscious of the pandemic and did everything to make us feel very comfortable when the work was done on our Highlander. They did all the work in about 15 minutes. Great job!!

Took my Tacoma in for maintenance. I wanted a front end alignment. The technician did the alignment but stated in the paperwork that he couldn't adjust toe and camber. The lower control arms were no longer adjustable. Don't understand why they didn't notify me and let me know how much it would cost to fix. Otherwise, no problem. So the dealer calls me in reference to this post. Leaves a message on my phone...I call back, someone answers and sends me to voicemail...rude..but I leave a message...but haven't heard back. It would appear they are not truly interested in resolving this.

But we were able to test drive a vehicle I had actually wanted but thought we’re too pricey. Turns out it was in our price range and in a matter of no time we were driving off in our new vehicle. Purchased a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off-Road at East Madison Toyota and this was by far the best dealer experience I have ever had from first contact to even after purchase. I live in NYC and I think that even when the market normalizes I will still buy a car here and drive it back to NYC, the 15 hrs. drive and the 941 miles overnight is worth it. The salesman I interacted with was Lynn J Braun, and the Finance Manager was Rudy Rivera. They were both amazing people to work with and honest. Lynn provided me with all the information I requested over the phone and emailed me whatever documents (signed by a manager) that I asked for. He kept me updated on the status of the vehicle thought the entire waiting period. The purchase process was extremely fast, could not had been more than two hours and that is including the time that it took to arrive at the dealer after Lynn picked me up at the airport. Lastly, what everyone is reading this review for. Vehicle was at MSRP with no forced F&I and/or accessories forced add-ons. In addition, after Lynn informed me that the vehicle had arrived, and I confirmed I was making the purchased, the vehicle was removed from their page. When I arrived, the vehicle was in the backroom waiting for me to pick it up with the other vehicles that were sold. They did not place it outside for everyone to see or leave it on the website to do a bait and switch. I found that very impressive specially in this market. Thank you Lynn and Rudy for the great experience, and for calling two days after the purchase to do a check up.

I used to take my vehicles here and now down to just the Lexus…after today I’m pretty much done. Just a simple oil change. Between the Lexus dealership in Middleton and here they seem to find these mysterious leaks that don’t exist for $1k fix and today wanted to do a $200 brake flush when I just replaced all my brakes and new fluid. Then they tried to explain to me that I needed to flush after I just changed the brakes. Forehead slap… total $84 after all the fees just for a standard oil change without rotation so they don’t screw anything up. I always have to check after because they will break a pin, forget one or two of the tire valve covers, or more. 10 people in an appointment only facility, 6 stood or sat there and did nothing but chit chat or played on a phone. They always tell me they are slammed. Must be why the prices are so high on top of the oil…the overhead. I used to like this place years ago but they just seem to not care anymore. Really has become a Stealership vs a Dealership.

I could not be less impressed with sales here. I called a few months ago asking to order a new Tacoma. I want some pretty specific options, so an order out is really my only option. The sales person said that because of supply chain issues Toyota is on allocation only, and it's not possible to order a truck. The sales guy called me a few days ago to follow up and I told him once again that I would only order out, or wait for what I wanted to hit a lot in the area. He told me that not only could I not order what I wanted, but Toyota was only selling access cab Tacomas in California now. Trust, but verify-I called a dealer in Plover and asked if I could order my Tacoma. That salesman said yep, no problem. Within 4 hours I had an order for a brand new pickup in, deposit and sales contract signed. Either the East Madison salesman doesn't know what he's talking about, or he lied. I've been a service customer here for about a year, but I'll now be going either to Smart or up to Plover from now on.

** newer comment. I responded to their request to be contacted in reference to the following comment but... No response from them in two weeks. I took my Camry in to diagnose a flickering check engine/ service light. They could could not find any service codes for that, great, right? But they give me an estimate for replacing both hoses for leaking power steering over $ 1,000.00 to replace both leaking power steering hoses. When I asked to see under the hood they said the mechanic wiped down the steering fluid reservoir, that's why it was all clean. I had power steering fluid under the reservoir one hose was covered in it and I had a streak of grime running down the side of the one hose. They wanted to keep the car to fix it. I did not leave my car with them. Yet a couple days later I have a drop of fluid under one hose but the other hose was not leaking. How did the non leaking hose end up with power steering fluid on top of it? And how did I get a 'river' of grime down one side of my hose when I had a droplet from the leak?

What horrible staff, just to start off, that needs to be very clear. Reception what mildly infuriating and a bit rude but they mostly just relayed what the obnoxious mechanic told me. JOE, the mechanic I dealt with was named Joe. I am so sorry for anyone who has to deal with this idiot. Tried to be very manipulative to my girlfriend when she tried to have a very minor part replaced. Never called after 8 days with an update, I had to call them and still I have no answers. Only told that a pet they needed hasn’t come in yet, and they didn’t know when it would. All would be fine if they offered a loaner car but I had to ask and when I did, they had NONE. Terrible service, even worse employees, avoid this location. Just plain facts show how incompetent these people are

Great customer service. My 18 RAV4 was totaled in an accident. I was easily able to replace it with a 19 RAV4 with low mileage. I was able to do this before my settlement with the insurance company.

Started out nice but then the salesman got rude. They give you no time to call and get money an paperwork done and knowing we wanted it they sold it to other people. My husband wanted a very specific Toyota Tacoma. We live in Texas and have been searching for a Voodoo blue, Tacoma with a 6 ft. bed, and a sun/moonroof. Doesn't sound hard to find, but it was. When we started searching there were only 5 in the whole country. When we started contacting dealerships they didn't actually have a truck with all that he wanted. We contacted East Madison Toyota and Tashi Chomor got back to us saying they had it! I asked her to take pictures, as we were not going to go to Madison, WI if it was not the exact truck. Tashi videotaped the entire truck and sent it to us. Bingo! It was the exact truck, plus some! Many people would have gotten the truck shipped, but my husband is not going to buy a new truck without actually seeing it. So we flew to Madison and picked up the truck. Tashi Chomor could not have been better. She had everything ready to go and went over the truck's features in detail. Honestly, if we did not live in Texas, we would be loyal customers to this dealership. The best part is that Toyotas last a long time, so we probably will not be needing a new truck in the near future. This is my husband's 3rd Toyota. I originally brought my car into a different auto-shop and left there fairly disappointed as the auto-shop was not able to fully fix my alignment. Decided to bring my car to Toyota and I was not disappointed! My whole experience with Toyota from scheduling in my appointment up until I left the building was on PAR! Upon arriving, they were busy but the receptionist did not fail to acknowledge that she knows I am there and in line and I was checked in shortly right after waiting. I was concern about the notes that the last auto-shop left and was given the chance to show and talk about it thoroughly with the mechanic. After the alignment was fix, they went over what was fixed and asked if I had any other concerns or questions which I really appreciated! (Unlike the last place I was at, I was told my car was set to go, charged me for a full service and then later I realized they made notes on the final MPI that they were unable to fix my alignment entirely) Not only did Toyota fix my alignment, but I was only charged for the alignment areas that needed to be touched. Wow! Thank you so much! Def. recommend and will be back in the future for more services.

We safely got our car off the highway and found East Madison Toyota less than a mile from where we were able to exit. Joe Sergi got us right in, and Pablo Di Paola assessed the damage immediately. He ran a diagnostics check on my car, and actually was able to show us both where the vehicle suffered damage. My brother-in-law was going to drive to Madison to pick us up, but Pablo assured us that we could still drive the vehicle back home to Waukesha. He recommended getting it fixed soon at our service station back home, along with an estimate of the parts and labor needed for the damage. We were back on the road in less than an hour with a peace of mind that the car was safe to drive. I was not charged for anything. I would highly recommend East Madison Toyota.

My family has bought two vehicles in the last few months from East Side Toyota. They got me the best deal possible with the negative equity in my trade for the first. I sat there a long time going back and forth with my bank but they made me feel welcome and comfortable in the lounge. Mind you- I live 1.5 hrs away. I was finally able to drive away in a 2020 Highlander!! I have never thought a brand new vehicle was ever in my lifetime! Second vehicle- also not as smooth on our end. Again, these guys were able to find us the best possibility and got us the vehicle we needed to replace the one that had been totaled in a collision over a year ago. That made the buying process tricky with previous loans, but these guys were extremely helpful in explaining our situation. Fortunately we were still able to come home with our car! Since it’s been 2 years, it’s a little overdue. Sorry, I have a PhD in procrastination. My experience at East Madison Toyota couldn’t have been better. Everyone was nice, friendly and very accommodating. My salesman even took me to the DMV and waited with me to get a piece of paper I needed. My old 4 runner had died and they gave me a very fair offer on a vehicle that wasn’t worth 2 cents. This is my 3rd 4Runner—needless to say—love these vehicles! They hold everything—in addition to groceries etc, also hold my 2 year old mastiff (she’s around 170 lbs). Had to use a rental during the buying process—Oh man what a disappointment—it just had a cheap feeling—had the sound of a tin can when shutting the door. Also when I 1st got in I fell into the seat because it was down so far. In contrast shutting the door of the truck, it’s a solid sound. Can barely hear thunder during a storm. And the seats are very comfortable; l have a very bad back—arthritis etc and I can adjust the seat very precisely. So a very belated thank you for a great experience and will be seeing you soon because I broke my side mirror when I drove into the garage door. Oops 😬

ATTEMPTED FRAUD!!!! My wife got a nail hole in her tire yesterday so I pulled it off her car and had her drop it off today to get patched. The tech called us to say it wasn't repairable and we needed to get new tires ($1300). So we both went back there to talk to them. They told us the hole had been patched previously (despite us owning the car since new) so they could not fix it. I challenged them as they had not pulled the tire off the rim so there was no way they could have known. They stuck to their story so we took the tire and left. We then went to Fleet Farm in Deforest where they tech pulled the tire off the rim, confirmed there was no patch and fixed for $15 in less than 10 minutes. East Madison Toyota is a very dishonest business, avoid them.

I am not sure exactly why there would be such a discrepancy between the two shop positions but can assure you we wouldn't maliciously go down the wrong path. To state attempted fraud is a major allegation and an unfair statement based on a tech's opinion on whether a tire can be repaired. My 2012 Camry had a grinding noise coming from driver side rear tire area and I brought my vehicle in to have it checked out. The service advisor I worked with was friendly, though I question what value East Madison Toyota provides. The brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. Four of the five part types listed on the invoice can be purchased from Toyota's online parts center for $241.63 collectively, whereas East Madison Toyota charged $330.75 for them (a nearly 50% markup). I suspect the dealership procures the parts for less than what Toyota sells them for online. Additionally, East Madison Toyota's website has a special listed for $30/$60 off brake work for one/both axles but that was not offered to me when the service advisor called me regarding the results of diagnostic testing. East Madison Toyota fixed my issue, but I feel like I probably could have had it done significantly cheaper at an independent dealer than the $541.07 I paid today had I known what was going on and had time to price shop.

just finished up the most disappointing experience buying a car. Started this process more than 2 months ago, had a car on the lot ready to buy. We were all ready to bring the trade down when suddenly the car was no longer available.....They said they could order another, which they did. Go over there today to have them look at the trade in and buy the car that was ordered especially for us. The come back with a price $2,000 higher than discussed. Blamed the soft market on trade ins....we work on negotiating the price down. After well over an hour waiting, we were starting to get a bit impatient. They kept saying a few more minutes, they were checking the numbers. When he finally came back, we had been there over 2 hours, the price increased another $500......needless to say, we walked out! As far as I can tell, they sold the first one on us, then strong armed us on the second. I would highly recommend Smart motors customer service over East Madison Toyota!!! Shameful......As a follow up to my review, I have since left 2 messages with my contact info for the manager to contact me to discuss my issues at his request! No reply at all.....guess the poor service starts at the top and filters all the way down.

They have a large selection of cars and sales staff. The used car manager was not fair. They need more financial staff, we waited over an hour to see a finical person. We brought a new car partly because the salesman was so nice, interested and helpful. The service supervisor and tire changer were great.

My husband and I had been to a handful of dealerships with AWFUL experiences. From an abrasive personality to the check engine light coming on during the test drive, it's been rough. Then we saw an SUV we loved at east Madison Toyota at a good price. Took a chance and drove over an hour and 20 minutes after work. We walked in an were immediately greeted with a door held open welcoming us. We had the pleasure to work with Lynn who had a warm presence. The test drive went well and we decided to purchase it. The experience got even better when we met Warren who finalized the transaction which ended up going after their business hours. We weren't pressured or rushed and overall I would give it a 5 star rating. He made us very comfortable and took extra steps to ensure we could finish the purchase the same night even though the bank was closed. His excitement in not making us have to come back the next day was genuine; a true class act. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle!

A little late getting me in for my 11am appointment (20 minutes) but otherwise did a fine job, got me a shuttle when it turned out more work and time would be needed, made sure to use a coupon I presented, sent the shuttle to pick me up, did a good job explaining their work. Also did the niceties - topped off fluids, checked tire pressures, indicated near future needs but didn't try to push them prematurely, all in all very satisfied.

Great work and diagnostics. I was disappointed that maintenance I asked to be done too with the repair was forgotten. I now have to go again for that and the maintenance plan is quite expensive. I also had to ask for a free car wash coupon that is given with each job. Their work is wonderful otherwise.

Great service and professional employees. Went in for an oil change and mechanic was concerned with condition of my tires. Then discovered I had a nail in one and an active leak. They were able to install new tires, same day, in 45 minutes.

When searching for a new car, I worked with Jeffrey. Throughout my car buying process, I visited 7 different dealerships. Out of all dealerships I visited, Jeffrey was the only person who seemed truly interested in what I wanted, not just making a sale. I was very intimidated in the car buying process, and on my first visit, I stated that I wasn't interested in buying a car, I just wanted to browse. Jeffrey respected that and did not push me at all to make a decision. If he had been too pushy (as many others were), I know I would not have ended up with a Toyota. I went back a second time, and Jeffrey helped me find the perfect car in my price range (coming up with some very creative options to keep the price down, but meeting my needs in a vehicle). In the end, I did not purchase a car from East Toyota. Jeffrey and I were finalizing things when we learned that the vehicle I intended on purchasing sold about a half hour before I went through with it. Even though I didn't end up purchasing from East Toyota, I did purchase a Toyota vehicle and Jeffrey has continued helping me. If you stop by, please request him. He was great!

We recently purchased a Rav4 from East Madison Toyota. Our salesman was Jeremy B., he was not high pressure very courteous and helpful. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from East Madison Toyota. The service has always been excellent. All the staff is great to deal including the finance department and the service department. We will continue to be a customer as long as this continues, as I am sure it will with the team they have. I have to mention Warren the finance director as well, because he always remembers us when we come in, and makes sure to greet us.

Had a great experience with East Madison Toyota service center, from beginning to end. Had to bring my car in for a recall and was able to get an appointment immediately. The shuttle service was extremely helpful, making it so easy to fit it in without taking too much time off of work. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly, helpful, and personable. I didn't have to spend much time waiting in line and, even for the couple of minutes I was waiting, a staff person came up to me and apologized and thanked me for waiting. And then getting the free car wash was a very nice touch.

Here is my story. I had a tire pressure light on for awhile and since its the weekends, I wanted to see if I could be productive. You know the attempt to be productive haha. well, I usually go to the west Madison Toyota but I wanted to go to the east side. then I saw the huge sign that says "Appointment Only" and I realized I made a mistake and blamed myself for not checking ahead. But, you know... I wanted to at least ask politely if there is a way to squeeze me in for a simple air pressure check and fill the air. I should have gotten the name of the gentleman (it might be the manager of the place but the gentleman was wearing the bright green safety vest) squeezed me in! I have nothing but gratitude. Not only that but the auto technicians were professional and all wearing masks. I would like to recognize a professional and a customer centered team that this place has. Thank you! Will use and will recommend this place for any car service. :)

I recently visited this dealership with intent to buy a car for my wife . The salesperson (Kristy) and used car manager (Doug) went out of their way to come up with an agreed price on a 2019 vehicle. After a test ride my wife was not sure that the selected vehicle was what she expected. Doug and Kristy tried to find different vehicles that might accommodate our needs. Unfortunately we drove away without a purchase but the staff at this dealership tried their best to find us a vehicle. I will be watching their site closely for inventory updates for a possible return. When you get into a new or used car you should get a feeling of "This is the one" they understand that. This was a terrific buying experience. Tashi, my sales representative, was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful guiding me through the used car buying experience. I felt I received a fair price for my vehicle even though they did not move on price. It would have been 5* if they would have thrown in the 2nd key fob and/or programming labor as part of the purchase price (car was missing the 2nd, key fob from the former owner) I'd still go back.

Overall it was just average. First of all, the customer service guy I dealt with was not very friendly, didn’t answer my questions well, just wasn’t pleasant with me. My truck was in for work on the frame, because of a recall, so the tires were coming off. I was due for a rotation, and he was going to charge me for a rotation. I explained the tires were coming off anyway. He just said there would be a charge. This did not sit well with me. I also had an oil change After an oil change usually my tire pressures are checked. Wasn’t done. Half way home I noticed my sticker for my next service was not changed. So I had to drive back and get a new sticker. Overall I thought that was my worst experience from you guys. I’ve got my trucks serviced from you for years. I may have to rethink that.
