They were so kind to me on the phone and in the store. Even though they weren't able to purchase my items, the two gentlemen were very polite, inquisitive, and genuinely caring. Most people don't meet businessmen like that everyday. It really brightened my day. Best pawn shop I've ever been to! Highly recommend

My first time selling/pawning anything. Service was quick and efficient. Process was clearly explained. I was distraught due to the point that the owner, Michael, pulled me aside to make sure I was safe and not doing this because of pressure from someone who could harm me. He let me have a private space to work with his representative and walked me to my car. My husband is going with me next week to retrieve my item and personally thank Michael for looking out for me when he could not be with me.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEGABLE STAFF. At first I was skeptical about going to a pawn shop. I had a very high priced diamond ring I was looking to sell ($40K+). I had visited several reputable jewelry stores over the past year receiving quotes which I was not satisfied with. I had read some reviews from others about auctioning their diamonds but being dissatisfied with the amount they received and having received higher quotes from their local pawn shop, so I said what the heck. South Charlotte Jewelry and Loan was the first pawn shop I visited ever. I was greeted by two gentlemen with smiles and great conversation. After they reviewed my diamond ring, he immediately placed a call to the owner Mike. He told me that the ring is not something they would be able to sell at their location however, the owner may be able to assist me. This was a Saturday. I spoke to Mike (owner) and he told me he believed he would be able to assist me. I could go on and on about how he went above and beyond to assist me with the sale of my precious ring and it all would be true. The bottom line is that by Sunday, he had a buyer for me and the price was more than I had been offered by any other jewelry store. What I liked most is he was not in this to make a buck, he was genuinely trying to help me sell my ring and get the most money for it. He even offered to give me the information of the buyer to cut out the middle man (him). He also offered to continue to search for other buyers. He was honest and shared the process step by step. He also offered to verify funds for me at his bank, go with me to the bank to make the deposit; he wanted me to feel comfortable with the process. This is a place of integrity and a place that provides exemplary customer service going above and beyond for their customers. Thank you so much Mike and Team for your efforts in getting my ring sold! Outstanding, the only place of its type I go. Great selections. Bought everything from high-end TV to low end miter saws. Everything works great. The game box bought from our son was perfect. Everything like new, in a box, everything worked at half the cost of retail. He loved it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are up front with their appraisal of quality on items and will tell you honestly if they think you should wait to see if they can find something better for you or if the item is the right fit for what you need.

recently had a firearm delivered and transferred through here. Staff was very nice and helpful, and called me the second they received it. I'll definitely continue to go to this store, and will recommend to any friends update- bought a second firearm and had went back to South Charlotte Jewelry & Loan. Everything went just as smoothly as the first go around. Great service!

Great place! Mike and Chris are amazing!!! Can't say the same about the newer woman that answers the phones every now and then. She's quite rude and short with people, and likes to hangup on customers when they call to make a payment on their loans. Other than that, would recommend South Charlotte Jewelry and Loan to anyone looking for a decent pawn shop. Mike and Chris actually care about you and your belongings you come to pawn!

My husband & I were looking for my very first gun .. we came here & Michael helped us. He has the best customer service .. he treated us like family rather then customers. He walked me through all the steps of buying my first gun. From which model, how it felt in my hand, the accessories that came with .. all of it he literally made me feel so comfortable.
