    Yes, with these gas prices, I traveled over 50 miles for impeccable service. Well worth it. I read prior reviews and made my decision to choose Simms Chevrolet for my car repair service. I followed my gut and I was right! This is, hands down, the best service I've ever had...and I've taken vehicles to places near home but it was not like Simms. Courteous staff, at first phone call! Each person communicate well, warmly and with class. The body shop is very professional, repaired it to perfection... excellent work. While other place placed a 4-6 weeks wait on certain parts, I waited for much less time. I felt confident during this entire experience as each staff helped me feel at ease.

    Bruce Simms and Mark Zerka were outstanding throughout my entire process. We ordered the vehicle back in October of 2021 and they updated me every step of the way whenever there was new information about the start date of build, delivery date and even had a driver come to our home for us to sign paperwork and deliver the vehicle!!!! This is our third vehicle purchasing from Simms Chevrolet in Clio. Won’t go anywhere else!

    Charged full price for incomplete work. Agreed upon $650 for 4 ball joints, 2 joints, and rear pinion seal. Provided my own parts, admittedly some were not an exact match so had to run up to exchange them out. Got called about the pinion seal not fitting and they already put it back together before I could bring a new one. Still got charged for the pinion seal work despite not actually getting a new seal. Was told every which way that they wouldn't discount the labor on the seal and I was already getting a discount on all the work down from $850. We never discussed a discount from that amount, it was agreed upon immediately at $650 with the mechanics. Very disappointed, been bringing our vehicles here for years

    Great parts department, very helpful and actually had the replacement key I needed for a 2011 Cruz. Even told me how to program the new key which was nice.

    Simms always goes above and beyond in the service department, from making sure I have a ride, returning my car to my place of work and taking care of all my service needs from oil changes to fixing an elusive noise that drove us both a little crazy, but they figured it out and took care of me throughout the whole process, I Definitely recommend them!

    Mediocre service. It's the only dealership that I went to that no one offered us any water or coffee or anyting. I had to sit there and wait for my appointment which was fine but not one person asked me if we needed any help or anything or if there is anything they could do. I finally asked somebody if somebody could start the paperwork for us.

    I brought my 2018 Traverse in for service on 9/9/2020 because it was giving me the error message of shift to park. I was having to turn my vehicle back on and go through all of the gears to get the message to go away. They suggested replacing my shifter and the harness at $260.00. I did not approve for the work to be done at that time and asked for the GM part numbers to do a little shopping around to see if I could get the parts at a cheaper price. On the GM parts direct website I was able to find the shifter for $73.31 instead of $118.75 and the harness for $7.89 instead of $12.75. I called back and spoke with Bruce to let him know of this and I had hoped since this was from a GM website they would honor this price. Instead he said to me " Okay well just button it up and pull it around front." I felt like this was poor customer service. I am a very loyal customer. I have purchased two vehicles: 2008 Cobalt and 2018 Traverse. I have never been late on a payment, I bring both vehicles in for routine maintenance to be done, and I have used the body shop quite a few times. I was dissatisfied to say the least with them. After 12 years of dedicated service I thought a return customer would have been given better service than this. Whenever, I borrow a loaner I always return it with more fuel than what is was loaned to me at. Jerry is definitely missed in the service department and this makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

    My 2021 Z71 Silverado with 13,381(5.3L ECOTEC3 V8) miles took a dump in Frankenmuth(we live in Sparta, MI)... Rough running, ck eng lites, etc(Valves, rods and head gasket fail). Clio Towing ( quality comp) towed to SIMMS Friday night(24 Sept '21). That following Monday morning(27 Sept) Chad Vanderpool(Serv Dept) called me and we went over my whole ordeal- What happened, where I live, transportation, parts, warranty, loaner vehicle, etc. He did what he could to assist, he did a good job at keeping me informed of the trucks status. We now fast forward to 7 Oct '21, with the truck repaired and a driver to come get me in Sparta. I picked up the truck, we went over the repairs and I even spoke with the technician, Ron Roznowski... Very professional and he explained what he did and said IF there are any more issues give us a call..BUT you should be good. A GM ISSUE THAT MAY TURN INTO A RECALL BUT... Hats off to Chad V and Ron R. AWESOME JOB

    Excelent customer service, Simms went over and above to price match all oem replacement parts that our insurance was not willing to cover. The body shop repaired the damage parts that were repainted matched so well it looks better than when purchased brand new. I would refer anyone needing paint work to go straight to Simms dont bother with the rest. We are pleased beyond words can express. Thank you Simms. I will refere anyone that needs paint work or body work to Simms striving to be the best

    Salesman very unreliable, gave us the runaround and lied. Set test drive apptmts 2x & took off work, only to be told last minute that the vehicle needed a repair. Didn't return calls (salesman & mgr) & each time we got them on the phone the vehicle supposedly was still waiting on svc. This went on for 6 days and we asked to let us know as soon as it was available to see because we were ready to buy....cash. They finally got it in for svc (supposedly), then 2hrs later the salesman (Aaron) calls and says he went for lunch and when he came back it was out of svc and already sold.....yeah right. And if you believe this I have some swamp land I'd like to sell you! Will never consider a purchase here again....ever.

    I had the best experience I've ever had at a dealership here at Simms. I found the vehicle I wanted online and drove 70miles to Simms to see it after calling to inquire. When we pulled up it was ready for us, sitting at the front doors. We pretty much walked in and were handed the keys for a test drive. No pressure, just a friendly introduction. We asked if they minded if we stopped for food during out test drive; they said it was no problem. We took our time and ate at Applebee's. While dealing with paperwork, another sales person played with one of my kids. Very nice person. Gave my son a hot wheels to keep and had coloring books on hand for him to enjoy. My son really had fun and didn't want to leave. The finance guy was okay, but seemed to assume too much. I was given two approvals through two local credits unions through the dealership, and the finance guy choose the one with the longest payment plan. If I hadn't asked, I wouldn't have been able to choose which I wanted. I don't want to pay for 72 months. One of the credit unions was the one I bank with, so it is more convenient to go with them. Plus they offered a lower interest rate. So I didn't like not being given the option much as I'd rather choose my payment terms. I guess most people choose the longest possible payment plan as illogical as that is. I plan on paying mine off in less than two years. They do try to sell GAP insurance and warranties by giving the monthly cost, not total cost. If you ask they will tell you total cost . That's annoying to have to ask but again I guess most people don't. GAP was offered at $750 total where as my car insurance company charged me $2 per six months. I didn't feel judged for not picking to have all the extra add-ons. I didn't get a warranty or anything. The car was stated to be certified used after passing all the Simms inspections. So that must be good right? Later this was important as two days after getting home, I found leaking fluid underneath. Simms paid to have the leak fixed at my local shop. I paid and they reimbursed via check. That was nice. Over the first month I kept receiving stuff from Simms. Like thank you cards and such. They even sent a year calendar with our photo that is magnetic to go on the fridge. So overall I got a good deal on the vehicle I wanted and didn't feel uncomfortable or lied to like I have at other dealerships. I'd go back to Simms if they had the vehicle I wanted next time.

    My wife and I purchased our 2019 Chevy Traverse here and had a less than pleasant experience. We drove from Grand Rapids this dealership. After we got there and the sales man went over the paper work with us. We then waited over an hour to go through the financial portion. When we were finally done and we were ready to leave we were not able to bring the car with us because it needed to get new tires, but for the two hours we were there and made it clear we wanted the vehicle it was never sent back to get the tires, making it not possible for us to bring home. The sales man also said he would was going to try to buff out some of the scratches since there were so many, and also clean off some sticky residue that was on the center council which neither of those were accomplished. When we had the car delivered the next day I went to put my daughters car seat in and noticed that the seat belt receiver did not work at all. I call the Simms dealership back about the safety issue with the seat belt and was told there was nothing they were able to do about it unless I bring it back to them, which is a two hour drive. I ask if he could talk to his manager and get back with me for options. No one got back with me, so I decided to bring it to a closer dealership in less than a week. After they looked it over I was told that it had two bad seat belt receivers, a bad strut, and both rear tow links were shot. They also told us that it was still covered under manufacture warranty which the dealership neglected to mention making this a more stressful process. So not only did the salesman not keep his word on fixing the minor issues, but he also lacked the proper knowledge of the vehicle for selling. But worst of all is the mechanics are not doing proper inspections of the used vehicles they are selling. Would not recommend.

    Bought a car for $25,000 and have had it in three times in the first two weeks for the same tire. They continue to keep plugging it when it clearly isn’t working. We even purchased the tire package during the buying process yet we can’t seem to get them to just put a new tire on the car.

    I took my vehicle here to be serviced. Not only were they able to fix my car, but they even provided a loaner for the interim. To some this may seem normal, but at the time we were facing covid restrictions and chip shortages. Finding a service provider with a loaner available was a feat in itself. I called 6 dealerships before simms, because they were closer to my house, and all of them made it seem impossible; except for simms. The lady simply said this is going to be difficult on my part, but I will make sure you don't go without.

    Charged for remote battery and didn't receive battery. Showed the Service Tech the remote was still not working. Service Technician wanted me come in for another day to fix issue with the battery. I shouldn't have schedule time again for work not completed. Simms also does not honor my Cadillac warranty.     Hands down one of the best buying experiences I have had. From the time I walked in the door everyone was welcoming. Mark helped find the car I was looking for while Nick handled all of the buying aspects of it. When it was time to sign paperwork extra time was taken to help me look at all options.
