Signature Title & Escrow Services, LLC Sw 12th Ave, Ocala

Buyers chose Signature Title & Escrow of Ocala for our closing on March 14, 2022. The closing was handled by Jennifer Brock of the agency. We have sold several other homes in the counties of Monroe, Dade & Broward, we have never had the lack of communication experience like we had with Signature Title of Ocala. This was not only our opinion, but also the opinion of the buyers as well. The week Leading up to the closing date, we made several attempts to speak with Jennifer and left messages with staff and voice message with no return calls to us or the buyers. We were left in the dark of unanswered questions until Friday before the Monday closing date and closing time was not provided until closing day. We didn’t know if additional documents were needed, if additional information was needed or if and when the closing would go as scheduled (1week was added at buyers request). A Trust Company was involved and we were trying to make sure all communication was met by all parties, but returned calls were silent for a week. We closed that Monday as scheduled but as of Thursday, March 17, 2022, the money had still not been wired to my Trust Acct.. I contacted Signature Title and was told by the receptionist that Jennifer was on another line. The reception advised she spoke with Jennifer and she apologized for not sending the wire until that morning but now couldn’t talk to me because she all of a sudden had a client in her office. “More of the same”. I couldn’t get a answer as to why the wire was not sent on Monday when the buyers money “cash” wash already provided to Signature Title and they received a refund for overage. I contacted my Trust and spoke with the person handling my transaction with Jennifer and she advised the money was not received as of yet and it was still in pending status. She advised if the money was really wired that morning, Jennifer would have received a Federal number confirming the wire. She would try to contact Jennifer for answers. Later that day (March 17), I received a call back from my Trust advising she never received a call back from Signature Title or Jennifer after leaving messages with the receptionist for verification of the wire. However, the money (wired) did miraculously showed as being received. Nothing like signing over your home, having new buyers move in and (4) days later you still have no money for it. If there was a choice for a (0) for the rating, that’s what I would have given. Never Again!!!

The staff handled my closing as if it was their own home purchase. They were very professional and courteous. I will use them again when the occasion arises.

I needed to drop something off to their office. The young lady I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and quite professional.

Signature Title & Escrow Services, LLC 1920 SW 12th Avenue Ocala, FL 34471 👎👎👎👎👎NO recommendable...….. 04/19/2021 this title company receive my document, I am selling my house! so somebody recommended them, I talk to Jennifer Brock and at that moment I though I have find a very professional person and friendly company, after I have been waiting for more that a month for my closing day 06/01/2021 because I didn't receive information at what time we have to be in there office, I make a decision to star calling Jennifer, every time I call the office, Joyce Trapp the front lady never have any answer for me, every time we ask her about our case she said she doesn't know , so I leave manias voice mail , my husband call too, the buyer call too and Jennifer Brock never have the time to answer our phone calls or call us back, email back or send any message regarding my case! I am very disappoint that this people make me wait so much to not do or finish the job , finally the buyer and I have to find other title company and start all the process again! Are u asking me if a will recommend this title company? well my answer is NEVER! I will give you a -0 in feedback 👎👎👎👎👎

Very nice office and friendly people

They say; if you want something done, give it to the busiest person in the office. These girls are the busiest in the county. These two work 10 to 12 hours a day. They work on vacation and most holidays. Each customer is a priority. Any delays related to a closing, are going to be in another link in the chain. With more than 40 years of title experience, they know what to expect.

Great team.. Closed on my new house. Everything was prepared ahead of time, no surprises. Entire closing process was well explained and questions were answered.

Did not hear from company for a month and a half after escrow was deposited. Thought all was well. Contacted them for a week straight leading up to our scheduled closing date and when I finally was able to talk to Jennifer I was met with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism. I have never been treated like this before and it still bothers me as a business owner myself. She said the hold-up was that they were unable to make contact with one of the sellers/other parties... when I asked which one because I have everyone’s contact information, she became belligerent and rude. The seller contacted her the next day and they told me they were met with even more extreme rudeness and this Jennifer accused us of “verbal harassment” (I guess simply asking for a reason why the closing couldn’t happen is harassment) and then basically degraded us by claiming she didn’t think we would pay her. Avoid this place at all costs. I have closed on many houses and this experience here has been really bad. I am happy that they are so busy and I have no problem the closing would have needed to be pushed back... stuff happens. It’s absolutely not okay to become rude and accusatory simply because people want to know why things aren’t ready after a month and a half. Update: another Title company closed on the property two weeks after I contacted them and explained the situation. Guess what, no issues and no excuses. I wish the original company would have just admitted their mistake instead of turning verbally aggressive and lying, but something good came out of this and I have found a fast, efficient, and honest company in return.

This company, along with Southern Home loans, went above and beyond to secure a refi loan for my wife and I. Honestly, I never thought we'd get a loan plus cash back to pay off creditors. They worked tirelessly to the very end and we now have a lower monthly payment and we're debt free. The very best.
