The people here seem nice enough but DO NOT use the ATM!!! It has eaten 3 checks in the past 5 months that I tried to deposit. I filed a complaint but never got the money. They owe me a total of $400 now in checks that they have lost. I will be contacting the state and the BBB.

    Response from the owner

Oh, no! We're sorry to hear that this was your experience when visiting your local ATM, Joy. Please send over an email with your phone number to [email protected]. We would like to further chat with you about the situation you have had.

I'm still up in the air. The actual bank's business practice to hold items as pending for weeks, after which you typically forget about them, then they completely fall off, so you think that perhaps it cleared, but NOPE. Then the items pop up again, and can throw you off and cause overdrafts if you don't check it and verify everything every single day. The kind woman who set up my account was very nice, and a few of the tellers are very nice, and as I understand that it is nice to have a personal touch, if you have other cars waiting in the outside drive through teller bay and you're having a personal conversation with another customer, maybe ask them to hang for a bit so you can go ahead and take care of the other customer's who are waiting, because if I had time to chat, I wouldn't have come through the drive through, so please be aware that other people may be in a hurry and don't have the time or patience to hear your entire conversation with another customer, who obviously has no where else to be, about her kid's soccer practice, husbands, pets, etc, etc... One teller however... I came through with a child support check. If you live in Davidson County, then ALL child support is now sifted through the child support office, regardless of which county or state the court order was issued from, so now you get a check from the State of TN for child support. It's awful. These checks are issued out to my maiden name, and have been for many, MANY years. This is a government issued check and for months I never had an issue depositing these checks with this bank. This teller, however, would not let me take cash out ($20) against a government issued child support check I was depositing because, according to her, I needed to have the cash in my account to cover it, which I didn't as it was 2 days before pay day. I had never heard of this before, I had a check that had always gone through before without issue, but she could be 100% correct. But then she refused to simply deposit my check because the check was issued to my maiden name, even though the check had the same address, I have deposited these same checks many times before with no issue, and she could have easily asked for other ID with my maiden name. She didn't. INSTEAD when I explained that it was my maiden name, that I had deposited these checks before, and she should be able to see them on my account previously deposited without issue her response was "well, I don't know you, sooooo" in an exaggerated tone suggesting that I was up to no good. So I had to go and pay a check cashing service (who have NEVER had issues cashing these checks with my maiden name because these checks can EASILY be verified) and had to deposit cash. This had become my norm, which is very difficult after hours because they do not provide deposit slips or deposit envelopes for their night deposit box like other banks. I guess it is because I don't have the typical "Karen" haircut with matching Suntan City tan to match that she assumed the worst...The Belle Meade location is WAY better. this happened awhile back, and the way she spoke to me in that tone...I'm still bothered by it.

Because they've cancelled my account twice without telling me and I didn't know it until I was actually going to make a deposit.

They could use more tellers, it takes way too long to get done.
