I got a message from Michael at Toliver's saying that someone had tried to pawn a class ring of mine that had been stolen. Instead of re-selling the ring which he could have easily done, he found my contact information online and returned the ring to me free of cost. I was blown away by his integrity, generosity, and class. I would recommend Toliver's to anyone and everyone!

This place is super fast. I felt comfortable when I first came there. Friendly staff and kind. I will keep coming when I need a little loan. Best in Nashville.

In my opinion it is one of the best pawn shops in the Nashville area have always been fair with pricing customer relations especially Michael Mayer who has always went above and beyond expectations.

I think this was another issue of "shopping while BLACK" if I could give them a zero I would!!! I immediately felt unwelcomed when entering the door..the guy working there ask me what was I looking for I replied " a necklace 20 inch" I started looking at some diamond rings etc ...that was in a case the guy comes down and says the necklaces your looking for are down here ...I just keep looking cause it this point I'm feeling rushed and felt like he didn't won't me in the store!!! He said again the necklaces are down here...I ask him if it was ok for me to look at something else....he then said yes but stood there watched every move I made ...I will never go to this pawn shop again!!!!

Mike was the biggest help every. He answered all my questions. I couldn't ask fir a better person to help me. I will be coming back to here again and more.

Toliver's pawn shop knowingly purchased my stolen property. The manager even told me he thought something was bad about the deal yet he still paid for the stolen property. If you have any stolen property around Nashville I would check here first. I strongly believe that the manager is in on it. He actually tried to charge me the full amount and interest for the pawn of my stolen property even though I showed him a police report proof of purchase videos of me with the very boats that are in his pawn shop. Just feel like it's my civil duty to let everyone know where this pawn shop stands on buying stolen property thank you and I hope this helps Kevin Perry

Very friendly staff, and a cool variety of things in there too. Also fair when it comes to pricing. Shoutout to Michael for selling me a great Les Paul at a good price awhile back, came in there a couple weeks later and he remembered my name. Always a great sign. Keep up the good work! 🤘🏻

I’ve been doing business here since they were recommended by a friend. They are FAIR, friendly and honest. Hard to find with any pawnshop. They will give you an honest loan and they have a fantastic selection of items. The people that own it have, for years and now I see why. They are great folks. Highly recommend and they frankly are the best I’ve ever experienced in the 12 states I’ve lived in. Keep it up Tollivers!

This pawn shop owner buys stolen property/items and does not follow the law! We have our stolen property/items at this guys pawn shop and he admits he has it and then tries to sell it back to us for double than what he bought it for!?! What a crook! This is even after he told the police detective what he purchased the property/items for. That's how we know he is a crooked pawn shop owner. Why the hell would we want to buy our own stolen property/items back! We will see you in court buddy!!
