THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I have NEVER given this bad a review but hope you will learn from my mistake. Two months ago I contacted Platinum Debt Services at the recommendation of a friend about a student loan debt. They called the loan company without my knowledge, posing as me, set a 2 month forbearance on my account, (just long enough to take two $400 payments out of my bank account as their payment for services not rendered), and now I haven't been able to reach them by phone or email for a month and my payment with the student loan company is due again. No arrangement was made to lower my monthly payment with the loan company to a reasonable rate, as was promised. I too thought they were a blessing in that the $400 a month payment for 10 years and the rest would be forgiven was a feasible payment amount over the nearly $1000 I was asked for by the loan company, but now I am out over $800, and the interest has compounded, so I am in worse shape than before. They did contact me when there was a problem with withdrawing the second payment of 400, and I assured them the money was in the account. It was then that I realized that the person who handled my "account" was one of the people giving testimonials on their website about how amazing the company is and how they had helped him with his own debt. I should have blocked the 2nd payment there. Once they withdrew the money I haven't been able to reach them. Now I have to sue.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! They misled me into believing that they were enrolling me into a student loan debt forgiveness program to alleviate my debt when they have done nothing to help my debt and now I am down $800. I have contacted my student loan provider, my bank, and the federal trade commission to complain. They have classified me as a victim of fraud! THE STUDENT LOAN PROVIDER LITERALLY SAID I AM A VICTIM OF FRAUD! Now I need to work on getting back what money I can. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! BTW the employee that called me was Joseph Hernandez if anyone needs that info.

My credit card debt was out of hand and there was no possible way for me to ever pay it off in my lifetime. Platinum Debt Relief was able to negotiate a settlement with my bank Chase for 40% of what I owed! Yes my credit was hurt, but it was already damaged from being delinquent on payments I couldn't afford to make. With the debt settled, my credit is actually starting to get better than where I was at before. I highly recommend this company!

I really wish these reviews would have been available when I signed up with these people. 900 dollars later with no way to get it back, student loans in poor standing after being assured several times that they were being taken care of. These people need to be stopped from preying on people who are in need! If i could give less than one star, i would have.

Paid 800 cant get a hold of anyone and they robbed me so far no callback no email yet hacent heard from themm since april still waiting still owe still waiting dont reccomend found out you should never pay anything until job is done..just saying..

Platinum Debt Services contacted me at the end of May 2019 about lowing my payments and putting me a public service loan forgiveness because I am a government worker and a military spouse, I do qualify for this. They made me sign contracts to agree to pay a low monthly payment of $30.00 for ten years and then all my student loan debt will be forgiven. For three months over the summer I’ve must have given them $800.00 of my hard earn money before they took out the $30.00 monthly payment. They have only took out the $30.00 for September. When October came around, they did not take out the payment. I have tried to call them and emailing them but I would get no response. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in the beginning of December and platinum debt services did take out the $30.00 payment but that was it!!! On December 30, 2019, platinum debt services did it again!!!! They did not take any payment out for the month. Platinum debt services did; however, emailed me to say that my payment was declined because they didn’t have my card information. The number that I used to call them is now a recording to sell offers. Now I can’t get a hold of them. I filed another complaint with the BBB to follow up on them, but now I realize that I might need to get a lawyer. This company is a SCAM pure and simple!!!!

My experience with this fake firm make Steam come out of my ears. Oh they got all their own money and one payment back towards my student loan and now I can't reach them by phone email and they assured me and I looked at their website and they reassured me that they were legit before I ever signed up with them and now I regret it. Somebody high up in debt relief services needs to report these people for preying on the innocent

Have tried getting in contact with them for Months now. No return call. Would leave messages and nothing.... online ticket is still pending. No emails nothing.... feels like a scam to me. Anyone else have this issue?

I call and call. No answer. No reply. No call back. 4 days now. I email no reply. No signs of caring. You contact me asap or this review is STAYING. I AM VERY DISGUSTED AND ASHAMED OF THIS COMPANY.
