We recently did a 15-Year Re-Finance for home improvements through Owning and are extremely impressed with how they handled the process from beginning to end. Every person we dealt with was knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. We never felt pressured and they delivered on everything they said they would do. A nice surprise was closing costs turned out to be below what they estimated. An added convenience is the fact that we never had to leave our home to sign papers. Everything was handled electronically and they had a notary come to our home for the signing of our final escrow papers. We highly recommend them.

My experience with the refinance was great! We closed in a couple of weeks and there was no appraisal. I knew exactly what the status of my loan was at all times and the portal was easy to use. I was very surprised when the processor called me to tell me we were ready to sign! We signed some of the documents online which shortened the amount of time with the notary. The best part of this was there were no 3rd party fees we had to pay. I didn’t believe it until I reviewed the loan estimate. All the closing costs were paid for us! Well, I was told that I would get $9000. back from my former lender, when i actually got $200. I mentioned that my wife is to be on the deed of trust, that didn't happen either. I am extremely pleased with the service i got from Thai and Earika at Owning. I have recently refinanced with a different company and it took more than 60 days. With Owning I completed the whole thing within 3 weeks. I spoke to only 2 people, the for- mentioned, and never had to be sent any where or any one else to complete the loan. Thai did everything he could to get my loan over to processing very quick. Earika, in processing, asked for only a few more things (all of which was a lot less than my previous company asked for on the last loan) and we were signing papers a week later. Both Thai and Earika gave me a quick response to every question I had through emails. I'd send my question, not expecting an answer for a day or two but, mostly, Earika would respond within minutes (I don't think I had many questions for Thai but if I did I'm sure he would have been quick also). My original company that just gave me a loan/ refi 4 months ago was my first inquire. After getting this refi started with them I unwired with Owning/ Thai. Within a couple days Thai had sent me "Good Faith Estimate" to sign over an email and told me if be working with Earika the processor. By the end of that week Earika told me we had a go ahead and set us up with the notary within a few days. We ended up signing for the loan on the day before Christmas. We had 3 days to cancel the loan, on the 2nd of the 3 days I finally got an email from our original lender sending us the 'Good Faith Estimate' on their loan. I ended up calling them, telling them where I was with Owning in the process. That person told me he thinks it would be about 45 more days after we got an appraisal for the house. I told him I just got an appraisal on the house 4 months ago on the previous loan. An appraisal that wasn't required by Owning. After hearing our loan was gonna be funded the next day he told me I should stick with Owning, Earika and Thai. Which I did and the mech day my loan funded just as Earika told me it would. This was by far the easiest and quickest loan /refi I have ever gotten. Thank you very much Earika, Thai and Owning for everything.

From our Loan Broker - Peter Suk to Loan Processor - Tudo Nguyen at each & every step of the way this was a world class experience in how to do Customer Engagement extremely well. In today's age of everything in such a hurry, and Customer Service being left as an afterthought, GuaranteedRate / Owning.com has it figured out. From initial consultation, to rates discussion & lock, to filling in application forms & paperwork gathering; to Appraisal, Underwriting, Loan Processing, closure.... the ENTIRE PROCESS took 2 weeks FLAT. YES I said that ONLY 2 weeks start to finish; (+2 days for loan to fund)...so BELIEVE IT. WHY/HOW you may ask? Over the years, we've done a # of loans/refi's & what separates Owning.com is they lend their own funds ~ what is known in industry as a "Direct Lender". Additionally they have in-house processing (not some external 3rd party company), so they can get things done lightening fast as they influence and orchestrate most of the entire process. . What an amazing experience. I put it down to a caring attitude, GSD (Getting Stuff Done) both Peter & Tudo were world class in their efforts and getting this done in an amazing time fashion. p.s. I have a best friend who is a Mortgage Broker (a broker 'brokers' Banks/lenders loans) & even he was amazed at the speed & process. Have you ever refinanced? Either way I very strongly suggest trying Owning. You will be ecstatic! Why! you ask. Read on. I don't usually write reviews. But sometimes I feel someone could benefit from my experience. Well I did a few times of refinancing. Normally, it is a sales call (sometimes high pressure with misleading information too). The agent wants to get as much information as possible from you, then gives you options which you have no EASY way to compare to another offer. Then he wants to convince you they're the best because biggest, most selling etc. etc,. Who cares if they borrowed from most advertising company? In the end, it all boils down to finances. Owning is none of those. I'll tell you what they are. They serve a small portion of the financing-market with selective customer base. They offer very low rates if not lowest. They tell you what the can do for you with no pressure. Time to close the loan? My loan from beginning to end was less than 3 weeks. Maybe luck? I don't know. I did it twice with them in the last 2 years. First was less than 5 weeks. How? Document exchanges are quick and online. Team is very responsive and friendly. Everyone knows exactly what and how-soon things can be done. Not convinced, Just give them a call to get a quote over the phone. No strings attached.

We've refinanced several times over the years but this was far and away our quickest and easiest refi ever. Initially we weren't even looking to refinance but when our previous lender made unauthorized and possibly illegal changes to the terms and conditions of our mortgage we had no choice. This was the smoothest and quickest refinance I’ve gone through. They were quick to respond guided through the whole process. I would highly recommend. The only advice I would give prospective clients is that this is not actually a bank and they are more like a “broker” meaning that your loan will be sold off to another bank/lender afterwards. So just be prepared, but they will send you the paperwork for your new lender.

I was really lucky that Hugo from Owning called me on Aug 28th 2021. I have to give these guys kudos for getting my loan done in less than 20 days. Maybe mine was easy to do because of all the paperwork and credit score but these guys are great. Did not pay a dime to do it and did my new loan at 1.875, 15 year fixed. This was the 2nd time dealing with them and both times they did a great job. If you need a loan then I highly recommend them and you guys can try it out.

For the most part the process was fairly simple. Once all the proper info was processed The loan finalized pretty quickly. Everything is done online or over the phone Which saves time and gas from having to go to the office. Company representatives were pretty good about replying and getting back to me with the info that I needed within a decent amount of time.

We had heard great things about Owning and constantly hear commercials for how great their rates are. After digging into it, I found that the main reason for delay in these cases were due to OWNING.COM merging with GUARANTEED RATE. He assured me that since the merger is completed, my loan will be closed quickly. After NICK completed my initial application, my file was handed over to Kim H Tran (Loan Processor). I was looking to Refi my home. So I scoured the internet to see who had the best Rates. I decided on Owning because they had rates at 1.95 APR and this was when the rates were starting to rise around July. I got a pretty good deal Shifted from a 30-year 3.5 APR to a 15-year 2.25 APR and took out some equity cash to do some home improvements. Owning has streamlined the refinance process to be as painless as possible. Staff were responsive and everything was clearly explained. Their rates were so good that i was able to get out of my 30 year loan to a 15yr and that was my goal.

This was the easiest refi we have done. We were signing our documents in less than two weeks from when we first contacted Owning. There were zero costs to us for our refi. The only thing added to our principle was the money to fund our escrow account- but since we’ll be getting the money back from our old escrow account which we will immediately use to pay down our new mortgage principle- this balances out to no increase to our loan. In about two total hours spread out over two weeks we were able to lower our interest rate which will save us about $200 per month. This was a no brainer!

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Edgar Moreno and Steven Floyd were awesome. From day one, they communicated with me every step of the way. My husband had been on disability because he had surgery. Not a problem. They figured it all out. I provided the documentation needed and everything went well. Closing was quick and not a day was wasted when something wasn’t taken care of. I got one of the lowest rates on the market and my mortgage payment went down about $420 a month. My refinance process was extremely quick and easy. I got a great rate and my agent took care of everything. The disclosures were handled online. And the agent even did all the work for closing an existing line of credit. I did not need an appraisal so the entire process from application to closing took about two weeks. Heard a radio ad for Owning and the short term refi's they offered. This appealed to me because we are very close to payoff and did not want to start over at 15 years, even for a lower interest rate. Rates were so low that I knew I had to refi. I was working with another company but it had been almost 4 weeks since I first started the process and it didn't seem any progress was being made. I was surprised at the speed the whole process was moving. I looked into Owning Corporation after hearing about them through word of mouth. I was reasonably skeptical about online lenders at first since I have mainly dealt with large banks such as Chase and BofA. So naturally I had to do more research to put my mind at ease and kept them in check throughout the whole refinancing process. At the end, I was generally happy with my decision to go with them. Here are some of my feedback: - Loan processing time is pretty fast, compared to big name banks. I sensed that they found a way to streamline the entire process very efficiently. In contrast, I often experienced delays and received redundant requests when dealing with larger banks despite my having all required and verifiable documents. - John and Kent have been great at following up with my package. John was good at explaining things and Kent was brief and to the point, which I liked. Kent may sound bossy and a bit rude at times but I didn't mind as he was just doing his job. - I closed with them back in December 2020 but waited until now to give them my feedback because I knew going in that Owning will immediately sell my mortgage to a third party and thus I wanted to capture the entire experience. My mortgage was transferred to Mr. Cooper and I have been generally pleased with them so far. - I almost stopped my application during the process because Owning was no longer offering competitive rates after initial lockup period on my higher rate has expired. John was ultimately able to offer the lower rate only after I submitted offers from other lenders. It is very important to do your own research in order to get the best rate as possible. - I am leaving my feedback here at the request of their marketing department. However I'm happy to do so as I am pleased with the overall outcome. Kudos to Angela for not forgetting to send me a reminder. Great doing business with you.

The worst loan experience I’ve ever had. Terrible mistakes made by multiple loan officers. Six months in, six different LO’s snd processors working on our refinance, and I finally cancelled, losing my 2.1% rate. Painful! The horrible customer service, and incompetence of this company is truthfully unlike anything I’ve experienced. Owning was recently purchased by Guaranteed Rate, and my experience with both companies was equally as bad. I do not recommend refinancing with Owning or Guaranteed Rate. One more note. . .They do not do self employed even if they tell you they do.

I contacted Owning back in Dec to refinance my home. we agreed in the conditions of the loan which was very competitive based on my 800 credit score. I was pitched that we would close in 3 weeks and that based on my documentation it would be a breeze. The time came and they begun scrambling with the processing department and had no time to close the deal. Jan came and they were still in the process and suddenly they called me that I had to re- apply because Owning was being bought out by another company "Guaranteed Rate" and they had different policies . Now after 2 months, March they said that I had to provide again all documentation and that I had to get re-approved. I re applied and submitted all documentation again because they said they would respect my initial approval. Here again they starting scrambling with the process blaming COVID. I waited for their call and nothing. I decided to try my luck with Quicken. They quickly took my info.. approved me and funded me before I got the next call from Guaranteed Rate... asking me for more documentation... I wouldnt waste my time with them. Quicken has their stuff together , got the loan done as promised in 3 weeks.

The process was really quick - spoke with a loan officer one evening, signed some papers and sent over documentation and signed closing papers within 2 weeks. I compared offers between several other companies and although there was one that was technically better (same interest rate, but more lender credits), I ended up going with Owning because of their promise to close quickly. They were able to waive the appraisal and sent a notary out shortly after, and the load was funded a couple of weeks after that (which was longer than they had expected, but at that point there wasn't much anyone could do). I would have liked my loan processor to be more proactive about updating me about the loan funding timeline, but she did answer all my questions in a timely manner. I did get some surprise fees at the end even though the loan estimate said I would only pay prepaid interest, but it was a only few hundred dollars and ultimately, refinancing is saving me a ton of money as my mortgage rate is now almost cut in half. If you meet the requirements to go with Owning, I would recommend them.

I just concluded my 2nd refi with Owning.com. My first time using Owning was about 14 months ago. Everything went quite smoothly both times. My refi #2 loan closed in approximately 3 weeks. Refi #1 was about 4 weeks. The only problem I encountered during either refi was that my old loan during refi #1 was paid off late and I was assessed a late fee by the loan company. However, Owning fessed up immediately, admitted their error, and reimbursed me for the fee very quickly. I didn't have to fight with them at all. Very satisfied with their service during both of my transactions. Highly recommended.

I completed two refinances with Owning. By far the quickest and easiest refinance I've ever done: less than two weeks to close and everything was super smooth. Only nitpick is that their documentation and signing platform is a pretty barebones. It works fine but if you want to refer to past docs you have to hunt around for the original email link. I have refinanced my home in the past and this was the best experience ever! My first contact was with Justin Hoang who got the process started. He was timely with all his communications and even answered the phone on a weekend evening when I just expected to leave a message. Once my documents were submitted, I worked with loan processor Linda Nguyen. i just completed my refi with Owning Corporation. I am very happy with the outcome and process. They gave me a quote that's very competitive compared to quotes I got from other lenders and it was no cost to me, no points, no lender fees, no closing costs, and no 3rd party costs. I could have gotten lower rate but this was truly no cost I went with this option.Their website is not fancy but effective. I just uploaded all the documents that they needed. It took a little over a month to close but no major issues along the way. My loan officer Eric and processor Peter were very prompt in responding to the questions. The process was speedy and as easy as I've experienced. Owning is essentially a service that coordinates lots of independent contractors, like realtors, title companies, notaries, etc, to process loans with a cheaper overhead. They do well at making sure you're not going to overpay as far as I can tell (I'm no mortgage refinancing expert). That being said, the customer service leaves something to be desired. During the process, it felt more like Owning and its contractors were the customer and we were there to serve them. We were happy that they were quick to respond, but at times they were a bit pushy. Texts at 9pm. The notary almost seemed to be irritated that they had to come to us. And the reason I'm posting this review is a near-daily "polite reminder" via email and text to write a review. Like I mentioned, the relationship seems to be turned around; Owning seems to view the customer as someone who is there for Owning. Update, 11-24-2020 Even after Owning posted a response to my review below, their questionable customer service has continued. I received a notice for instructions on the first payment, only 4 business days before it is due, and the only option being for a physical mailed check. I'm mailing it directly from my bank but the check isn't projected to arrive until the day after it's due.

My financial advisor recommended Owning to me (which right off the bat says something) and I am so glad he did!! Lana Pothos and Kathy Ly were easy to work with, fun to talk with on the phone, organized and hassle-free! Lana answered all my questions, worked with me to lock in an amazing rate, and kept me updated all along the way. Kathy was very helpful as well and dug into the final leg of the journey to remove any roadblocks, clear up any questions amongst my former lenders, leading to a seamless series of DocuSign emails (so easy to use!) and loan close! They also work with a great notary, Lucas Monari, who arranged a convenient final document signing with us and made it as painless as possible!!! After that, they made sure I had all the info I need to start my loan payments, pretty much holding my hand as I got started! I'm definitely recommending Owning.com to my friends and neighbors!!!

It eventually funded the loan fine. As a part of good service, it would be necessary to notify customer when important deviation from schedule occurs. Bottom Line up Front: Owning provided a lower cost loan, at a lower rate, in less than 1/3rd the time Rocket did. Full Review: Simply amazed! This captures my reaction at closing, which occurred in just a couple weeks after initial contact. I have been a loyal Rocket Mortgage (3x) customer for too long, and was in week 6 of a refinance with Rocket when I reached out to owning. I had reached a point of frustration in the Rocket Process and my spouse stumbled upon Owning so I conducted some research and gave them a call. Rocket Frustration: The frustration with Rocket centered a “hard sale” approach the loan officer had taken combined with the processor communicating vaguely via their application. The loan officer would dance around loan-origination fees (points) and would always reply with an “I’m doing the best I can with Credits”, whenever lender fees were discussed. Her responses consistently lacked clarity and substance. Owning Experience the Opposite of Rocket: Owning was 100% transparent in both lender and origination fees. Providing specific answers to justify anywhere from a .25% to 1% point increase. Whereas, Rocket would simply state “These fees are within Fannie Mae Freddie Mac guidelines”. Total closing costs Lender + Origination Fees were 3k less with Owning and there were $0.00 in lender fees. Owning offered rates that were true to the market whereas Rocket was slightly higher. In my situation, as each refinance/finance is unique, I received a rate from Owning that was a full 1% lower. Owning was able to close the loan to include escrow funding in less than 3 weeks. Owning leveraged both technology and old-fashion conversation when needed to work through the finer points of the loan and ensure all expectations were achieved[PW1] . Both Brian and Julie were awesome and a pleasure to work with. In summary, losing my $500 deposit to Rocket was money well spent.

I was very eager to get the low-interest loan that was advertised in San Diego paper, but I learned that the rate applied to specific types of loans. I think a list of rates vs qualifications would be nice to prospective borrowers.

Terrible, deceitful, strung-along - these are all 3 words I would use to describe this company. Every piece of information was provided to Owning as requested, however, as soon as interest rates increased, it became obvious that they had little interest in actually approving the mortgage. Despite at least 10 emails, multiple phone calls, and a chat on their website, I have yet to hear from anyone. In addition, my "mortgage professional" is no longer employed by the company, but no one has taken their place. I've attempted to call their customer service on 3 different occasions, but after 25 minutes on hold, no one answers. If you want to waste your time, lose out on other opportunities, be lied to and remember why you think of mortgage companies as completely sleaze bags - call owning, otherwise, find a real mortgage company.

I contacted Owning to refinance my home. The loan officer David Ly gave me a great rate, helped me compare to my current lender which was no comparison as the closing costs and fees were so minimal with Owning. We went with Owning and are very happy with the outcome and service. A couple of little blips with the loan term and amount, but they were handled quickly and efficiently.

We refinanced our mortgage with Owning in October 2021, and I can honestly say the process was the most seamless and transparent compared to our previous, 2020 refinance with a different lender and to those prior to that. I say it was seamless because it took less than two weeks from the time we submitted our application to the day of closing. And to clarify what I mean by transparent, Owning’s advertised low rate was exactly what we locked in. Just remember Agent working for money, and there is no free lunch, he/she is not a volunteer. Once I accepted the rate and terms, he locked in the rate, within 25 days my loan funded and closed. Nowadays, everything almost finished online, except the notary, I live in a remote area, but they sent a Notary to my house to sign the loan document, from started to finished the whole process, I never needed to make one step out of my house. What an amazing experience! I could not believe how easy and FAST it was. From application to signing was apx. 1 week. First contact with Loan agent, Lana was amazing. quick and got me going. None of that extra junk/questions. Loan processor, Kathy, was similarly amazing. replied to emails and questions quickly. Only reason this is not a 5 star review was because funding the loan after papers where signed took way too long. Got a call from Kathy that the company was doing some name or ownership change and a bunch of loans got caught in this transition. I was patient, but worried that this was going to be a scam or my rates would change. Finally closed after a few weeks. A friend I recommended is still waiting for his to fund and he signed with title company before I did. I don't think his loan processor was as good as Kathy. He got a message to pay Feb mortgage and she will be back in 3 weeks!?? Hopefully after this transition or name change things will get processed faster. But overall I still had a good experience and ended up with an amazing rate.

The refi process was an efficient and smooth experience. Clearly communicated what documents were needed and provided via a secure portal. Electronic signatures leveraged throughout the most of the process, with the final loan docs signed in person. Entire process completed in under 3 weeks.

I was referred to Ownìng Corporation by my sister. From the very beginning, Andrew did a GREAT job of being transparent about their refinance process. This put me at ease. Also, I appreciated their quick processing time compared to other companies. In addition, Patrick, my loan agent was very efficient as well. He consistently emailed me to make sure I submitted all the necessary documents on time. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Though I have a grudge, overall I am satisfied with the service provided by Owning while refinancing my loan. Here are the good 1. Very competitive rates 2. The loan processing was quick, smooth and very professional Not so good I was promised zero fees (including absolutely zero hidden fees). However, by the time the loan closed, I noticed certain fees charged by my current lender and because I was promised zero fees, I was hoping Owning Corp can live up to the word and cover for those fees too - which unfortunately did not happen.

I used to use the large warehouse membership before to do my loans, but a few years ago, I found Owning.com and gave them a try. Everything that I saw, as in rates, were dead on. I read the fine print and I meet all the requirements. In May 2020, I refi with a 30yr/2.99 % APR/RATE, no closing costs and I used them once again to lower my rate to a 2.25% 30yr in August of 2021. This time we were able to close in 17 days. Would use them again if the rates ever go into the 1's.

I used them twice for my previous refinances several years ago and they were amazing- however I have been trying to work with them recently on my mothers refinance and it has been a completely opposite experience. I have talked to no less than 5 people over a month now with no follow up, emails and calls and messages that have not been responded to, lost documents and no progress on this loan. I have given up with this company, obviously they no longer know how to process loans nor do they have any concept of customer service. (for reference I spoke or had email correspondence with Joseph Rebolledo, Justin Hoang, M. Chang, Estaban Lechuga- and today with Mei Tang who told me that there is no record of our application or credit check in their system- unbelievable!)

Super fast refinance! 15 days to complete everything. One of the best rates out there. They do sell the servicing to other companies, which is fine as those companies accept online payments too. They may tell you that big banks like Chase would service your loan, which I have never seen with any of my friends using owning - so be mentally prepared.

Let me start by saying I am overwhelmingly pleased with my experience with Owning.com.I was very skeptical at first.  I have refinanced several times with a Broker I trust, but I always shop around.  Ownings rates and zero closing cost was really unbeatable.  But I was still skeptical.  I did some research to make sure they were legit.  There were several popular sites I trusted, like NerdWallet, that recommended them. I couldn't find any problems, so I proceeded.  I was able to refi my $370k loan on my home for 15 years at 1.99%.  They offered 2.25% with no cost or points, but I opted to pay 0.25 points ($925) to get 1.99%.  I paid no other closing cost, including no inspection fees.  When they say no cost, it is honestly legit. I was surprised how fast we closed.  Only took 2 or 3 weeks.  I've done this many times, so I had most of my documentation ready so that made things go more smoothly.  I always had an email of someone to talk to, and they were available to call me within minutes when I wanted to get someone on the phone.  Having ready access to someone on the phone made all the difference in the world.  I told a couple friends who also refinanced at the same time as me.  One took a little longer because he wanted some cash back.  But both have been super pleased.  Remember, if you see a "Rate & APR" next to a number on their site, then that's the rate with no points.  If you see "Rate" and you see an "APR" that is higher, then that means you need to pay points to get that Rate.  It changes often so keep an eye out and strike when the iron is hot.  But if you have an old loan, you really can't go wrong with the current rates (Note, I am writing this as of 7/19/2021). I have told everyone I know who owns to reach out to Owning.  Most are skeptical.  But I really couldn't be more pleased.  Rates have dropped AGAIN since I refinanced, and I have honestly thought about doing it again.

What a great way to refinance a mortgage! After seeing rates drop to historic levels, I had to refinance. All of my previous ones required a ton of paperwork and lots of handwritten signatures. This was one of the easiest refinances I've ever done. The process is quick, easy and efficient. As long as you have the routine documents to provide, the rest is easy. I especially liked the docusign format where I can electronically sign the forms. Everything was already filled out for me and I just reviewed and pushed a button. Nothing to fax or mail in. It was so easy. The rates were as competitive as anywhere. If you like fast and easy service, this is the place to go for your next refinance needs. Five star for sure.

I'd like to clarify my experience with Owning was during a time when rates are at all time lows and they very clearly as all other firms were extremely busy. Owning reached out to me almost immediately upon my inquiry to refinance. I received an amazing rate (stupid low), they followed up and responded promptly. From the day of my application, we signed documents maybe a week after, that is super fast. What took a little longer was the funding or electronic wiring of funds to my current loan holder, that took around 2 weeks. No complaints here as they gave me a heads up that funding was a tad behind. Overall it took about 3 weeks from beginning to end, which again in these times was amazing. I recently refinanced my mortgage with Owning. It was a breeze and took very little time to complete the paperwork. This is the third time I have refinanced my mortgage with Owning and every experience has been very positive and I was able to lower my rate with no fees. Once I realized the rates were down substantially this year, I called Owning and spoke with Ron Radziminsky so I could make the best choice for my particular need which was a cash out plus a full 1 point lower than what I had with no fees. Needless to say, Owning was by far the best deal without having to pay points to get the best deal. I did call around to other mortgage companies just to see if any one of them could match what Ron was offering and not one company could match the offer. Ron was professional and very responsive any time I contacted him about any questions or clarifications about the documentation that was needed to expedite the loan. Trusting the person you are working with is instrumental when refinancing a home mortgage, and given my positive history with Owning, I felt like I would be given accurate answers without any worry. I had a great experience with Owning as the lender on my refi. The loan agent was very near perfect and so was the customer service agent that pushed my loan over the mile to funding. They missed the 2 week funding date by a week, but considering how long other lender take (2 months), they still did an awesome job. I would recommend them to anyone. I have never close so quickly with my refinance and I refinance four times so far. Both owning representatives respond to my questions promptly like they were on their email 24/7. Answered all my questions. Signed most of my document digitally. Even the notary who came was nice and had all my paperwork signed within 30 minutes.

From start to finish, it was the easiest, refinance that I’ve ever done. David K., my loan agent was friendly, easy to communicate with, and patient. It was so fast, I honestly couldn’t believe it. It started with me filling out their refinance tool calculator, someone called me within 30 minutes (with my permission) and the refi was closed within weeks. Unbelievable, if I hadn’t gone through it myself. Did I mention that my rate was the lowest, no-cost loan?

1. Did you have an overall good and positive experience with your Owning Loan Agent? I did! In fact, I referred a friend to Owning, but unfortunately, she (and I) learned that you only work with CA property owners. If you have an affiliate in FL, please let me know. 2. Did you have an overall good and positive experience with your Owning Loan Processor? I sure did! She was wonderful! She responded promptly and even after hours/ on weekend which I did not expect at all. She was very professional personable. 3. Was the overall process completed to your level of satisfaction? The portion of the process that wasn't communicated well was the length of time it would be delayed by Escrow. I had to call and get a supervisor involved in order to get it completed which caused several additional days of me accruing higher interest with my former lender. It would have been helpful to know up front that the Escrow was going to drag on for a couple of WEEKS. The rest of the process was incredibly fast, so I thought that something was wrong when escrow took so long. 4. If you were to rate your experience on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being a superior experience, which number would you assign your overall experience with Owning? 5 to Owning and a 2 to escrow.

The refinance process was fast and smooth. Marco Munoz, the loan originator, was upfront and transparent and he was always quick to respond to phone calls to answer any questions during the process. Samira Salman, the loan processor, was good at getting the documents needed for a seamless process. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend Owning Corporation to anyone who wishes to refinance their home.

I have refinanced my mortgage numerous times and my recent experience with Owning Corporation was the best by far. From my initial contact with the loan agent to the loan processor and the administrative staff, the level of customer service was exceptional. Everyone answered my questions or made sure to get the answer in a timely and efficient manner. When an unforeseen issue (not their fault) came up during the loan approval process, I was notified immediately and kept informed until it was resolved. When this resulted in a delay beyond my rate lock period, they still honored the quoted rate. After they sold the loan, they were very helpful in transitioning to the new lender. Should I ever have the need to refinance again, I will definitely contact Owning and specifically ask for the agent and processor that assisted me—they were awesome like their rates.
