Money Mart Pawn & Jewelry North Fwy, Houston

I remember when this place opened, I loved making deals, and yes even getting a loan once in a while. Head over heels this place always made a profit on me. Then management changed. They are cut-throat, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. If anyone one was ever upside down in my experience with this shop it was me. The funny thing is, I did not mind, because i loved the things I bought here. They just lost a customer, that they made more money on, than lost from me...and you know what. I am okay with that. I would much rather work with people who know I like buying gadgets and trading my old stuff at a loss. In the end, these guys started feeling, creepy.

This Money Mart Pawn is located in a new standalone building on the northbound North Freeway just south of West Road. Merchandise presentation is very good. They have a large concrete parking lot with easy access. They carry a selection high end shoes, purses and watches. There is a selection of jewelry, firearms and power tools & equipment.. Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Not your topical pawn shop! I have been to many pawn shops and none can compare to the experience I have when I come here. You can tell they are committed to great customer service as soon as you're greeted. I was a customer of another Money Mart that closed down, so my items were transferred to this location and I thought it was going to be a hassle driving the extra mile but it was not at all. I picked up my items out of pawn and the manger told me he knew the value of my items and the brand and if I ever needed to come back we would give me more of a loan of my items. The previous place wanted to give me about $10. I understand everyone has a job to do but most pawn shops treat you as if you are the poor asking for help. But truth is most people are probably making pretty good amount of money but at times can use the extra help. Sure enough months later I took my items back and he kept his word. The smallest things can make a huge different and how you treat your customers. Now I go back for all my purchases! and don't mind driving the extra mile. If they continuing training their employees to use great customer service, no doubt they'll do great! And their store is ALWAYS clean!

Came in and was instantly greeted by staff. I was looking for a camera and this store had a great selection on cameras. Tried out 2 cameras that caught my eye and left with one of them. I ended up getting a Canon Rebel T6 at a very great price compared to other stores. I would really recommend this store and I will definitely be coming back. Thanks David for all of your help, you were awesome!!! Great store, great prices!

Staff was very rude and unprofessional if you want to see real money for your high end item I suggest MONEY MART in Pasadena or south Gessner locations they have Better quality of merchandise and Educated staff on high end items going to this location was a waist of time SAVE YOUR GAS PEOPLE

This pawn is VERY unprofessional. My husband wanted to get a license and buy a gun. We live in the ghetto and we don't have any protection if someone breaks into our home. I finally said ok and he put a $520 gun on layaway. Yesterday, we went there to make the final payment. My husband did a background ck and the man said its delayed so he will call my husband on tomorrow. Well, he never called so my husband called him. He puts my husband on hold and never came back to the phone. That is SO rude. I told my husband to get our money back and lets go somewhere else. We pawn and bought so many things from them but I will never go back there.

Omg so i don’t normally go to pawn shops. Nor do I do reviews but I just had to for this place. My mother is who got me into them. But this one is super clean & organized with a great staff that know what they have. I believe clean && organization is what brings this particular pawn shop to the Top compared to others I’ve gone to. I want to thank y’all for the Kate Spade sunglasses i purchased && service of making me feel welcomed & comfortable.

Diana helped me out to pick out a chain to replace my broken chain that was passed down. She is very generous and gave a negotiable price. I’m very pleased with the welcoming charm of the staff here. I truly recommend and will be coming back for later gifts.
