Military Pay Office on Fort Hood Center, Fort Hood

DO NOT waste your time here. It's all civilians and they could care less about any soldier on this base. I haven't been paid my BAS correctly in a year and they told me there is nothing they can do. I'm still not sure how the Army is getting away with not paying soldiers on time and at all. Edit: now I am being told it will take 30-45 days to get my final paycheck.

Okay...its ridiculous that I hve been givin three different phone numbers from various people. Including my s1, DFAS, copland center and not to mention the other numbers you find across google. And every single one of them rings once then automatically a busy tone or a disconnected tone. I even got one who just replayed what I said "hello?........hello?.......who is this?......who s th..ect." I would even be happy with a robot. At least that way I know my issue is at least having something attempted to fix. All the low star reviews are correct because the times I have been their they are very unprofessional and disrespectful. To the point i lost my professionalism and was told I wouldnt be helped because of my culture........ I guess its the time to opress the "white man" but needless to say their a more then a few issues here at ft hoods finance office.

The staff was very helpful and patient during my in processing brief. I was able to ensure I had ALL required documents filled in just as they directed to avoid any delays in my pay account update. My entitlements were updated timely and my TLE was paid out faster than I had previously experienced at other duty locations. Great customer service.

Customer service here is horrible. I understand there is a pandemic going on, but to not be of service to customers even during this time is really stressful. I have called over 10 different numbers trying to reach someone and emailed the office. I still haven’t received a called. Finance concern is something that should get taken care of as quickly as possible especially with covid 19.

like many other reviews I am awaiting my final check and have been waiting for a month and a half. No one answers the phone and i have called multiple times on many different days its terrible to have to wait so long for something that shouldnt even be an issue. Also try to call from a different number than the one you gave them. Once I did that I was able to get someone on the phone

This office is a joke, I don't know why all of these people haven't been fired yet, you want to "fix Ft. Hood", start by fixing these jokers. They are entirely unresponsive, they don't answer phones, they don't respond to emails and you are not allowed to go to they're office unless you have an appointment which by the way is impossible to establish being that they are entirely unresponsive as stated previously.

I have been trying to get ahold of them for THREE days. They never answer the phone. When you go in person EVERY ONE is rude. They tell you nothing but lies just to make it easier on them!!! If i could i would give them 0 stars. Been trying to get back pay since JUNE!!!!

Completely pathetic office. Had finance problems for the entire 2 years I have been at fort Hood. It is impossible to get help from anyone here, paperwork disappears constantly, everything takes forever to process. This place should be investigated, but that would probably be too much to ask of anyone working at Fort hood.

Terrible office, two ladies that work here have attitudes and get snappy with their customers. If you have a problem and need their help, they will alienate you and make you feel like you’re not welcome. Why even work here if you hate Soldiers?

The were actually very helpful and responsive to the phone in my experience. I called multiple times without being put on hold. I don’t know what everyone else is complaining about. My experience was pleasant. Ms.Morris answered all my questions patiently.

Ought to be a zero stars option. 1) What’s the point of having a waiting area if you’re going to keep it blocked off so soldiers have to stand and crowd the hallways? 2) They won’t open up until 1300 on the dot but best believe they sure close their doors 15min prior to their actual closing time. 3) They “look” over your paperwork before sending it to DFAS only to have DFAS deny it and send the papers back due to corrections that should’ve been addressed before being sent.

Definitely not interested in helping people out, especially if you're trying to clearing. I must've sent them over 20 emails, finally got the paper I needed from them, just to find out a week later they never cleared me. Another 10 or so emails back and I've never recieved a response.

I actually had someone answer the phone after 15 rings. I said I wanna know tge status of my last paycheck because DFAS said its waiting on them to hit the green light and send to my account. She said give me your info, I did. Then put on hold for 2 min and then said we will call u back eithier today or tomorrow. That was 3 days ago and I cant get in touch with then. Hmmm $5836 dollars is what im waiting for since I got out 45 days ago. I am now $3000 in debt any longer I may not see a dime of that.
