Liberty Pawn E North St, Rapid City

Took in a small amount of silver, and they gave me a few buck less than most places do. I have pounds of silver and quite a few ounces of gold, but I've been looking for the honest pawn shop in town before I unload it all. This is not the place. Don't waste your time with these people. You're welcome. 👌 Keep an eye on my reviews and eventually I'll find the right one for you guys. 👍

This is the first review I have left on any platform and for any business. I bought an item a few days ago it wasn't what I had expected. Despite it still working, I brought it back two days later and explained the situation to the owner. He was extremely understanding and thoughtful. He made zero hesitations to refund me my full payment in a situation where I feel he could have just as easily told me off. I can't remember being treated this fairly and respectfully by any business or organization in a long time. I was very impressed with my entire experience here and I feel like others should know. The staff was also friendly and willing to help answer questions as well. I will definitely do business here in the future and I recommend you do as well. We as consumers need to reward these kinds of places that prioritize being good people and treating others respectfully. Give these guys a shot!

On internet it says closes at 7 we got there at 6 and they were closed!! LIARS!!!

They just opened a few months ago they've got a decent amount of stuff, but the icing on the cake is the staff are amazing. Will defiantly be going there often.

I had this place rated 2 stars but after my last few experiences in there to buy things...they really deserve zero. I visit all the pawn shops at least once a week to look around and usually buy something - I expect to get deals as a frequent customer. Rarely here and definitely not lately - their attitude is "I don't know what this item is but it's worth $toomuch and I'll never budge from that number." So... I will not be back, and neither should you.

Brought a 14k gold watch in to pawn for a car repair bill and the guy said it wasn’t solid but plated although marked 14k and 14c on band and back and he argued with me it was plated…he wouldn’t even test it.. I told him i was a gold buyer and i buy gold he said “youre a gold buyer?” Hmmmpt ! He then proceeded to throw the watch back at me and said im not interested ..so i went down the road to First National and guess what solid 14k like i said including band…so moral of the story? Yeah 14c means 14k sir, its also marked 585 on band if you took two seconds to look. Your loss ahah .

I would rate 0 but I can’t I bought a ps3 from them that I had not notice a rattle on the inside of it when I got home so I took it back and I was told over the phone that I could swap it out for a different ps3 that didn’t rattle and when I got there they refused to let me swap it out claiming I damaged it and refused to refund my money even though they have a 5 day return policy and I bough it 5 hours before. Owner was very rude and as I left he told me to “throw my PlayStation around more and break it more” even though I didn’t break it. Later I pulled it apart and it was a broken disc drive and that was the rattle. Very poor service👎

These guys, or at least the lady in this place is a moron. I'm pretty sure she couldn't find her six with both hands and a flashlight. I will never go in this place again.
