LGE Community Credit Union Atlanta Rd, Smyrna

I have worked with Terry Mays for about the last 3 weeks on a situation that I got myself into and she was the most patient and thoughtful person ever. She took lost of time to go over all the layers of my problem and find the best solutions. We got everything resolved and finalized. LGE has been my bank for a long time now and I truly appreciate everything they and Terry did.

This location is not the place to do business with. My account was closed with LGE , so the remaining funds in my account were sent to me in a LGE cashiers checks. I went to the bank to cash it and was told that they couldn’t cash a cashiers check by LGE unless I’m a member, I was profiled and refused service. After verifying the check was legitimate, they still refused to cash a cashiers check sent to me by LGE. They told me I would have to go to another financial institution to cash instead of the bank LGE who sent me the check. It was only for $730. I’ve never felt such devalued and embarrassed in my life. I was made to sit down for over 30 mins while they called “the back office”. I informed them I would make a complaint with the CFPB(consumer finance protection bureau) and the NCUA and they laughed at me. If you’re a person of color don’t bank here . You don’t feel valued , you get the worst looks once you come in. I didn’t appreciate this and sure no one else will

I’ve been with LGE for a while and i go to the Smyrna branch. Each time i go i ask for Rebecca because she’s so helpful and kind. Any issue i have she goes above and beyond to help me, best customer service.

Nicole at LGE is absolutely fabulous! She walked me through every step of my first car purchase and was extremely patient, friendly, organized, and kind. She made the experience so pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure I was informed about my purchase. Earned a customer for life.

I have been a member of LGE for over 20 years. Rebecca Murray is amazing! She has helped me with many of my auto loans over the years and I have received the best rates available hands down. She is very quick and attentive to my specific needs. I recently had a dealership match my rate to use their financing, but would not because of my experience with Rebecca and LGE. It is not about signing the deal, but the experience you have with the institution throughout the repayment process. Even though I haven't needed financial assistance, I have received plenty of e-mails over the years from LGE offering assistance to members. Thank you again Rebecca!

Honestly, the best banking experience I’ve ever had. Rebecca has been consistently kind, informative, and gone above and beyond to be helpful to me. Moving back to the area after many years, I was unsure about using a credit union. It has been the highlight of coming home. I cannot recommend LGE Atlanta Rd enough. I would give them a thousand stars if I could!

Update: I recently had an issue with my account and this was the closest branch at the time. After going back when I said I never would again, there was a new person I had never dealt with before and she was absolutley amazing. She has single handedly rebuilt my trust in what I am again proud to say is MY Credit Union. By far the least helpful branch I have been in. Strongly considering finding a new credit union based on my experiences at the particular location.

Nicole is the best! I needed assistance with becoming a member so that I can apply for a HELOC and she patiently explained my options, thoroughly explained the details of both accounts, and asked several times to make sure I understood and had no questions. I had to follow up the next day and she was equally as pleasant. Highly recommend this location!

A few months ago I needed a new debit card and Nicole made me a replacement one same day. Later, when I needed to discuss opening new accounts, I went back to this branch and Nicole was amazing helping me through that process as well. I only go to this branch!!
