I would like to be contacted in regards to this review. The issue is that I have a negative mark on my credit due to ELGA’s negligence. I have not missed a payment once and was not communicated with anything stating there was an address change. I sent my payment to the exact same address as always. Well, the payment wasn’t received due to the payment being sent to the incorrect address because the new address was not communicated to me. And I mean not communicated at all. No mail, didn’t receive an email, nothing. I spoke to a customer representative that had to keep placing me on hold to speak to another associate I requested to speak to that representative and was able to do so. This representative knew what happened and let me know how to resolve this. All I had to do is sent another payment in and they would remove the negative mark off my credit. ELGA has received my payment but the negative mark is still on my credit which was stated that WOULD BE REMOVED as soon as they received the new payment. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. This HAS affected my credit in a negative way. I will be calling in the morning and see if this will be resolved. This review will be updated or removed if or when this error is resolved. AM

Very very unprofessional and unthoughtful, unsympathetic staff. Ive had elga for years and its slowly gotten so bad to the point where i would never recommend it to anybody. I would strongly advise against it unless you like other people doing things with your money against your will and telling you they can do that if they want to. Pay the monthly fee with chase or go to any other credit union. Elga is a joke.

Elga Credit Union, in GrandBlanc, is a must Stop, a very beautiful branch with great service, and knowledgeable staff at all positions, and say 👋 to my new friend Julia 😊.

I actually really like Elga, however I called about a car loan and talked with someone, I can’t remember her name, and I was under the impression with a credit score of at least 680 my loan would be about 3.5% interest. I did all the paperwork at the car lot and they said Elga approved me at 7% interest, which is outrageous, because the truck has a lot of miles and is a little older. I’m very disappointed. I have great credit and had a great relationship with Elga, but am disappointed and think I’ll go elsewhere

Everyone is so friendly every time I go in. They make transaction so easy. No paper to fill out. Your in and out so quickly. Great place to do my business. I do my business at the Davison branch
