Genisys Credit Union E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc Twp

I’ve been with Genisys almost 10 years, they always took care of me and I always took care of them. Up until recently anyways.. because of a poor experience trying to close on a loan, I found out Genisys has been charging me twice the interest rate that my credit score qualifies me for! I literally asked them weeks ago if I would qualify to refinance because my credit score has went up and they either told me no, or that it would actually increase. Another credit union took every single loan I had for HALF the interest rate Genisys has been charging me, cutting 1-2 years off the loan for the same or less of a payment. I’m sure this is happening to other Genisys members as well, we blindly go back and get taken advantage of. I will be closing my accounts this summer, I clearly see members are not actually valued by this credit union. I’ve already told my friends and family about this and they’ve also found Genisys is doing the same to them too! So they’re also moving. They didn’t used to be like this, but it’s extremely disappointing to discover after almost 10 years.

The customer service at this branch is exceptional! Everyone on the teller line is very professional and personable. I needed old account statements and Yvonne took care of it promptly. She had told me that I could pick them up at the end of the day, but then called me within an hour and had already completed the task! Yvonne was efficient, professional, and kind! This branch truly makes you feel like family! I highly recommend Genisys Credit Union if you are interested in opening a new account!

Stopped at the Grand Blanc office today to update some information on our accounts. Sonja Teer helped us, she was very knowledgeable about what we needed done. Thank you Sonja for your excellent service. It was a pleasure working with you.

We have used Genisys for several loans since they opened the Grand Blanc branch. Karen G. worked with my wife on our latest one and she was fantastic! All information was communicated swiftly and contact-free. We just finished a grueling 6 month-long refinance with another institution and are extremely grateful for the same-day and next-day service that Genisys provides. They provide excellent rates and great service. We really appreciate that in our financial institutions!

I got out of work very late today, and ended up arriving exactly at 5:30. The assistant manager as well as the rest of the staff were extremely understanding and helpful, and they all worked together to make it a super quick process. The branch was extremely clean and very well kept up, and the staff were super nice, even for me being there after hours. Definitely one of my favorite branches I’ve been to.

I want to give a big shout out to Latoya U. for helping me with my loan. She was very pleasant to work with and has a great personality and explained everything in detail. I HIGHLY recommend her if you need any type of loan :)

I have been a member here for years and I am always happy with the customer service. Recently though, I needed assistance with something that was going to require A LOT of extra work and Karen in member services was outstanding. She got right on it and helped a ton! Thank you GB Genisys!

Karen Gray has been a dream to deal with. She has bent over backwards to make things work well for us, and has been nothing but awesome the whole time. I have never had a better experience in banking/loans in my life. She has been understanding and patient and very responsive. You can’t do better than having Karen help you with your loans/banking.

I use these guys for several, checking savings, college savings funds accounts for the kids, and miscellaneous accounts. Also have had several auto loans personal loans etc through them at this location. Always very helpful, very efficient, and always a great experience. They are more then willing to help through any issues you may be having whether it be time to sign paperwork etc, exchange personal explanations to underwriting etc. I have had great experiences with Sonji and Karen G. Thank you for all your help past, current, and future.
