I would give no stars if it was possible. We’ve had nothing but problems with Al Serra and won’t do business with any of their dealerships again. Our first SUV was a Buick we leased years ago here and had problems with the dealer himself. Also no one showed us how to operate any of the new features of the car as it was the first new car we had gotten in a long time. We purchased a Cadillac Escalade from them a year after and had a good sales experience. We had a problem with portions of the touch display not working properly. I looked at the display while the screen was off from multiple angles and a could see parts of the screen looked like different colors in dim light. I took it in as it was still under warranty. I received a call back a few days later that the problem couldn’t be duplicated and nothing visibly wrong could be seen by the technician. Even as I left, the display continued malfunctioning in the same spot. I drove the car 54 miles out of the way to a different dealership. They asked me to duplicate the problem in front of them as well as saying the screen looked odd to them. They replaced the display the same day under the warranty, while we waited. A couple of years ago we leased through their Kia dealer in this group. Again, the dealer didn’t go over anything on the car with us and we made it a point to ask about the automatic start button it came with. The dealer said he would look it up and get right back to us. We never heard anything back regarding this. The lease is almost up and we still don’t know how to remote start the car. We’ve taken all the cars to them for service. I can’t count how many times mechanics haven’t reset the maintenance reminders on our cars. One time we were told nothing was wrong with our car when we took it in. We then had to go to a local independent shop that reproduced the problem and repaired it at our cost. That car was still under warranty. Since, we have purchased 2 cars from other dealerships not in the Al Serra group and both dealerships treated us great and have maintained the cars properly. There are many car dealerships in this state, even if Al Serra is conveniently close to you, take the time to go elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did not in the long run.

Jon Williams was amazing to work with! If you’re looking for a new or used vehicle, Al Serra is the place to go and Jon Williams is the best of the best! Very professional, extremely quick replies (and I swear I sent 100 emails over the course of our search for my used car purchase, he was not only very communicative but also incredibly patient and always went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to feel confident with my purchase. He was knowledgeable and well versed in all the ins and outs of warranties, quality of vehicles and made sure that he was available whenever I wanted to come in for a test drive etc. he even saved me from having to put $1000 down when signing papers AND locked me in at a super low interest rate! He will go above and beyond and leave you feeling confident and knowledgeable about your purchase with no room for second thoughts! I will recommend him to any friend or family member in search for a new or used vehicle, no question! Thank you, Jon, for making a stressful situation totally seamless and easy! This place is wonderful. I traded my Fusion in in March so that I could buy 2 older cars so that my son & I both had vehicles. Rob Collins helped me with the transaction, gave me a great deal & was very kind & helpful. Through no fault of their own, the engine happened to blow only 5 weeks after I started driving the Focus. As of today, Andy (the manager), is agreeing to take the car back & trade it out & give me the fair value of the car. I have never had an experience like this at any dealership, & I have been to dozens of them through the years. If they are able to do this transaction as they’ve promised, I am sure that I will be continuing to give good reviews, suggest them to my friends & family, & use them again in the future. Trent Vartanian was the best! I told him what i wanted, and within 24 hours(even during an inventory shortage) he was able to get me the truck i was requesting, at the price i wanted. Highly recommend him! Also, the entire dealership was clean and welcoming.

Great Experience! I had spent time perusing available vehicles on the website and, after a quick call top David, made the drive to review a couple vehicles, but they didn't completely fit my needs. David was great about offering other available options and looking into other vehicles that fully met my needs. David scouted the inventory and found a couple great options for me to review, which I did the following day. Excellent communication and support throughout the process. Jason C. is a rockstar! In my quest to find a good deal on Stinger GT2 I had to look far and wide. I was working with several dealerships, all of them were out of state and ranged from 4 to 6 hours away (Stingers are HARD to find!). Working with Al Serra and Jason was a win - win. They offered the best price and of all the other salespeople I was working with at the other dealerships, Jason was the most responsive and helpful. Even after 2 weeks of being bombarded with my texts as I did my research and asking a ton of questions, he was very professional and always responded in a timely manner. After a near 5 hour drive I expected to be at the dealership for 2-3 hours but Jason made the whole process fast and easy and I was out in less than 90 minutes and made it home for dinner! The long drive was worth it for the deal and the experience. Hats off to Jason and Al Serra. Both are class acts!

Worked with Gary Lamay who was super friendly, no pressure, put up with me asking a bunch of questions. Never felt rushed. Jeff Saber was able to find us a vehicle that was in our price range when so few vehicles were available nationwide. He found us the most equity in the vehicle we were turning in and also found some additional savings. He was able to make delivery of the vehicle in a short period of time. Overall he is a great salesperson to deal with.

I have a bit of advice for anyone who is choosing to purchase a used vehicle from Al Serra, make sure you have the vehicle inspected. Do not trust that they have done a thorough job and DO NOT believe them when they tell you that you're covered by the extended warranty. Two weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with 61,000 miles. We drove 300 miles and there simply wasn't anyway to have it inspected by our mechanic, so we took a chance and trusted them. Big mistake. Al Serra was the servicing dealer for the last few years on this Jeep, so they know every little detail about it. 4 days after we purchased it, we noticed a serious oil leak. We took it in to our local dealer and were told that the oil filter adapter housing is leaking. Pictures were sent to the warranty company and it was determined that based on the extent of the damage, it could not have happened in the time frame of us buying it and reporting the issue. The warranty company won't touch it and tell me that Al Serra should have fixed this prior to ever selling the Jeep and that there is absolutely no way they didn't know there was an issue. It's been nothing but crickets from Al Serra. The salesman said he would talk with his managers, but I have heard NOTHING from anyone since that email earlier this week. So buyer beware, I would never purchase a vehicle from them again, and I certainly will never recommend them. They do not stand behind the sale.

Chris Salter extremely helpful with showing available cars and talking with my bank to finalize my loan. Was able to do pretty much everything over the phone so all I had to do was go in and sign a couple papers and leave with my new car. Would definitely buy a car from him again

We originally came in to see a particular pre-owned car and he had it ready to test drive, but it ended up having more damage on it than we thought. He was able to give us several options to choose from that was in our purchase window without any issues and we found a car that we really liked. Would definitely work with Cruz again!

I was contacted about a recall on my Silverado. I inquired over the phone about how long it would take and the woman told me about 1.5 hours. Day of appointment my husband and I drive separately so we could get lunch. Arrive at the appointment and they tell my husband they would have my truck ready in 2 days. So my husband and I drove our trucks an hour total on both vehicles for nothing. I bought 2 vehicles from here but that’s unacceptable. Don’t have people scheduling appointments if they don’t know what they are doing.

Sean at Al Serra helped me find the right used car for my needs. He was very professional and not pushy at all. He was patient and helped me find the right car for me. I would highly recommend Sean if you are looking for a new car.

Awful experience. My first visit was ok, we talk about prices, discounts and options and I put money down for a specific car with a price. They told me that I would have to wait 60 days for the car, But that they can pull my credit to freeze 2.9% credit with Honda credit. The day come after 60 days I arrive excited, just to find out that the price that I was told and give money on it’s no longer valid, now I have to pay 1.5k extras, and now the credit is 3.75%. This was very bad experience since they don’t hold to what was agreed before, since I have been waiting for this and making plans , I can retract, I have to buy it or buy it. I left with a car but not with a smile. Not recommended, go with a dealership that hold to what told you, on price and rate.

My car was making a weird noise so I took it here. As soon as I got there they told me nothing was wrong with it without barely looking at anything. I had the service man talk to my fiancé on the phone and he got them to keep the car over night. The next day they called and still said nothing was wrong. They assured me a ten year licensed technician looked at my car and found no issues. I took it to a different dealership and they were able to find a problem right away. It's a problem with the engine so a very big deal and if I continued driving my vehicle it could have left me stranded somewhere. They will be fixing it for me and I will never come back here. Basically if your car has an issue and you want it to be fixed don't take it here because they obviously have no idea what they are doing. Update. Another dealership found the issue with this vehicle. The car had ring failure. It's getting all new pistons, rings, rods, and bearings in the lower end. I'm glad I found someone who could diagnose the issue after being told there was nothing wrong. Engine would have been seized on the side of the road without the repairs being done.

Brian is a professional in every way. You get the feeling that he is working for you rather than for the sale. Before, during, and after the sale he is trustworthy and professional I have had several experiences with Brian where I bought and didn’t buy vehicles and his friendly manner was always evident.

My sales guy Chis Salter is doing a great job and the dealership looks clean and well running. You saved me a trip to Bay city, Labadie Toyota wants $14,950 for a Corolla with 136,468 miles. I had to Jump on your deal.

Carl saved the day and got the truck of my dreams reserved for me. I came from approximately 8 hours away. Carl was able to have everything ready to go, and I was in the dealership for only 20 minutes and out the door with my new truck.I would defiantly travel 8 hours to make another deal with him!

This will always be my go to spot for a car, after having the pleasure to interact with Jon Williams a car salesman at Al Serra! After My van broke down, I contacted Jon Williams about my incident, and he went above and beyond to make sure my family got the right vehicle! I was driving my new vehicle the next day! I didn't have a way to get up to the actual Lot location, so Jon made sure to drive the vehicle to my house for me to evaluate, and test drive! If I could give Jon and Al Serra 10 stars I most definitely would! 10/10 would recommend!

Been bringing car to AlSerra since bought new there 2014, for repairs, problems & oil changes. Ive always been completely satisfied until now. No familiar faces like usual that have helped me in service dept. Firstly, the garage bay was full at time of my appt & when i was able to pull in, my car had to wait for the several in front to move on out so my car could get to other bldg for oil change. I waited a total of 1 1/2 hrs to get it changed. I did get 2 new needed air filters that took only a few xtra minutes plus $60 xtra. The main thing is that my ABS light was on, check stability trak light was on & check engine light also on. They were when I arrived & in the past it gets brought to my attention that problem lights were checked & then the info would be relayed to me after car serviced. Just as common procedure during oil change, employee would see the dash when resetting my oil life inside the car & notice my problem lights on. I was there for oil change appt. but very disappointed that those issues were not checked on or addressed at all & brought to my attn if i would like to get issues fixed or even make an appt to get checked out. I drove away with service lights on & they were ignored. It was very busy that day at 4pm & so many people yet to be helped, i believe employees were rushing & only dealing with the obvious that complete customer service & satisfaction was not in their plans. Ive always had super help & attentiveness before this day. I was very disappointed at this visit. I felt like i was in a foreign land & no clue where i was as far as a paying customer, spent over $100 that day for general maintenance & oil change & feel i deserved more help, faster & better customer service. Such things should not be overlooked. Im a loyal customer as well as my family members who always buy new cars from you & are repeat customers for service & such. I hope this problem is not gonna be one in the future for me or anyone else. Every customer is important & should be treated as such with car services. Its expensive to keep up a car & paying customers should be valued & appreciated. I value their help, but this visit was not complete. Thx for your attn in this matter.

My Al Serra experiences have been excellent every time. I was especially impressed with the service I received from Aaron Derezotes on my new Cadillac. He really went above and beyond any expectations I had. I will be back to see him for my next lease and highly recommend!

Al Serra Honda of Grand Blanc was amazing. I hate pushy salesmen, it feels like a lot of pressure for something as large of a purchase like a vehicle, but Brandon Mills is amazing. He’s very responsive, helpful, honest and best of all not at all pushy. He will do everything to get you in the vehicle you are looking for, and also offers the best possible price. Eric, the service manager is also great, helpful and kind. These two did a lot to help me get into the exact vehicle I needed and I look forward to returning to this dealership to buy the next vehicle I need.

Adam was absolutely fantastic when it came to my first dealership experience. He was extremely friendly, didn't push anything onto me and was very patient even though I made it a 3 day experience. Would highly recommend talking to him.

I come from a family of "never buy new" folks who either worked on at GM or wrenched on cars for fun. Given the crazy market, I ended up looking at new cars as well, and Darrell at Al Serra was one of the only salespeople of the MANY I talked to over the several week period of searching was was laid back, not pushy, but still very up front about price and inventory. He did an absolutely fabulous job of getting me into a new Subaru without any undue stress, even amid my 101 questions lol. Obviously there is still a fair amount of salesmanship that went into everything, including pushing the extended warranty and maintenance plans, but it was always very classy, honest, and respectful when I decided that I wasn't interested at the time. I was very open when i went to lease my truck, Cameron was open and honest with me, he asked my needs and my brand loyalty. I'm not particularly brand loyal so he showed me my different options and prices. Since Al Serra owns multiple brands it was super easy to look at brand new trucks from all the major brands with prices attached, So much easier than driving all over the place I might add. Once I ended up with a Ram 1500, which wasn't my 1st choice when I first walked through the doors, I fell in love with it and bought it at the end of my lease. Jason Donaldson was great and very helpful and worked to get it closed. The car is just what I want. With a major exception, my car was sold to me with locks on my wheels and no key to unlock the wheels. Because I came from out of state to purchase in my hometown, Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied that Al Serra never replied back when I ask them to reimburse me for the money I spent to have locks and lugs changed, because I needed to rotate my tires and this was the only way. I guess I should be happy I didn't have a flat during this time. Good sale poor follow up.

This is my second car Brian has helped me with! I could not be more pleased with both transactions. Got an routine oil change great service haven't had any issues since I started doing business in 2014 there. John P. Is the best no longer a sales person, but he's great! He literally had a sale handed to him when we first met a guy dropped the ball and was trying to sell me a old vehicle I called my credit union got approved for what I needed he just had to do the paperwork lol. 3 yes later upgraded my truck John got me what I needed!!! Time to upgrade again and he's moved up in the company which is great I was disappointed when he linked me another sales person all bad nevertheless I'm working with a new guy Jason and he's doing great so far 💪🏾

Matt did a great job helping my wife and I secure a new vehicle. We initially came in looking have him help us secure a Certified Pre Owned Equinox, with all the goodies in July 2021. Because of the supply chain issues this was an impossible feat. He suggested specing out a new one out and seeing if an order could be submitted. (Orders were not all being allowed at that time because of the supply chain issues.) The order was accepted, however the delivery date was pushed out time after time due to the supply chain issues. He stayed on top of the status and kept us proactively informed of the status and new dates as they got pushed out. The car was finally delivered and we took delivery on 1/28/22. My wife is THRILLED with her new car, and Matt got us great value for our trade. Matt has also been responsible for assisting both of my adult daughters locate and purchase hard to find vehicles over the course of the last year. How do you schedule appointments for service and then call to state that it maybe a few days before they get to it??? And not to mention no rental!!! This is one of the main reason why we lease and not purchase. I’ve been a customer of Al Serra for almost 15 years and have leased 8 vehicles and have never had an issue. This past 6 months with my Jeep Rubicon we have had nothing but headaches from the first day we picked it up and having it towed back to dealer… this was due the service department not prepping the jeep. The jeep overheated due to the plug not being placed and all of the coolant drained .. now I’m dealing with the computer and the power steering intermittently freezing up. I dropped the vehicle off last evening for an appt at 7 am today… they texted to inform me it may be a few days..I’m not all all happy and will definitely be sending my concerns to the BBB and Chrysler Dodge and Jeep directly.

Just walked out of there. I was trading in my truck which I would have had to owe 3000. I went in there knowing I would. The. Without pulling any credit, any info whatsoever tells me in order to get a 36,000 vehicle at a $370 a month payment I’d have to put 15,000 down!!! Who in their right mind ever puts 1/2 down on a vehicle!!

I appreciate Al Serra for finding someone specific for the job for my vehicle, I just don't like the fact instead of using INCL(INCLUDED) for hours worked on the report and getting paid for breaking the engine and windshield; and God knows what else is not ok. But when you don't know these things they don't tell you. Also my car was held 2 days after they was suppose to return it and 20 miles was added to my vehicle, but while driving noone noticed the wheelbarrow still is crooked. Now I have a 2020 Ford explorer so this car has sensors to let you know when you too close to any line on the road, and the fact I have to drive with the wheel slanted is very nerve racking. This is more time to fix the issue and more time to not have the car back in my possession with already being paid over 13,000 dollars. I do not recommend going here they also tried to juke my mother out of a 100. Make sure you ask everything before leaving your vehicle or even signing anything. Some of the people are nice, like Mark( I believe that's his name in the auto shop) is a great guy even gets along with our children. They did a nice job from what I seen besides the things that I pointed out.

Test drove a car for a cousin that lives 5 hours away, she found a car on their website, when I brought up concerns of the car pulling to the left and shaking with Bryan Vandemark he was very rude, told me the was as is and they can get a lot more money when they send this car to auction. He said “see that the problem why didn’t she come test drive it herself maybe she wouldn’t feel what you did” when explained she lives out of town he basically said not his problem and she didn’t have to buy from there. This dealership will never get my business and I will recommend my friends and family steer clear.

If you want scammed and lied to come to Al Serra. Came in for an oil change and tire rotation that they do every 3000 miles for years with Al Serra, Grand Blanc but wants to charge me $24 replace a lug that they put on too tight, the manager Cole Preville comes out and ma'ams me feeding me an ungodly amount of BS and everytime I come back knowing his lies he ma'ams me again because 1 other customer may hear that I know that what he was trying to feed me. They put the lug on too tight then stripped it and wants me to pay for their mistakes. Hey Al Serra, I didn't hire the kids that you did and having them service vehicles. I do appreciate you taking your time in giving me a recommended service menu I did not ask for at $579.58 for a coolant exchange and spark plug replacement....that was a joke, right?! Al Serra Auto Plaza Grand Blanc Michigan is not the professional place you think you're taking your car into to, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!

I end up taking my car in every 3 months after they make a repair and charge someone 1500 for labor for simple repairs that could have been done by a non professional.
