We were referred to Jacob by a family friend, to refinance my parents home. This was post pandemic 2022, my parents had a temporary forbearance (3 months during the pandemic) in 2020. Well his associate Roman, explained that in order for my parents to refinance, they would have to pay back the amount they owe from last years forbearance and make three payments afterwards. That defeated the whole purpose for my parents refi, since it was to save money. Anywho we went with someone else and we had to do none of that. It was a straight refi with a conventional loan. Not sure if there is a reason why Jacob and team asks you to do this (bigger Commission?) or they don’t know what they are doing.

Horrible, terrible, awful experienced. Loan officer name Jacob Lowery NMLS 1023801, Branch NMLS 1992701, Company NMLS 3029 is a crook and also one of the worst person to ever deal with, He was referred by Samantha Leach. I mean the last name obviously speaks for itself. This guy has poor integrity and communication skills, But ask for all our personal information, which we created an account on the cross country mortgage portal, which he specifically he asked us to do so, but Without our knowledge or consent, Ran our credits including my uncle who is attached to some of his credit cards and Never even applied for this mortgage company. and impacted all of our credit scores. We never even got to finish and complete the paperwork or signed for him to process and run our credit. When you call him or try to get a hold of him, he will not get back to you. and will make some type of an excuse. I confronted him about it asked him .he nothing but lied and act oblivious he deflects and accuses me that we applied for these applications, which we never completed. We just created an account on their website. Anyways run away from this guy and mortgage company! hire a broker instead. I have some good ones ;)

Delayed service, hardly get back to your emails/ calls / texts....

This was our second home purchase and Chad Baker’s team at CrossCountry Mortgage did a phenomenal job. They were very responsive, very fair, and on top of everything. Need something on a Sunday? BAM!! They have you covered. Chad Baker offered great insights into our unique situation that really helped us consider what was the best way to move forward. We will be using Chad and his team for all future transactions.
