I was out shopping for my second car and got referred to CFS from a local car shop... boy was I lucky to get hooked up with such a great company! Seriously, they always answer the phone, I don't have to talk to a robot. They answered all my questions. & even helped me boost my credit score. The interest rate was good and I was able to get a second loan through them after I paid off my car. Rhonda was always a pleasure to work with, and Jay too. Trust these guys! They are a locally owned business and are out to HELP PEOPLE not hurt them.

I found EZ loans with a quick google search and was able to buy the car I had my heart set on within one day! The process at the office was so quick and J was so helpful! The contract was super simple and they explained how much I was going to pay in interest over the course of loan which helped me understand what I was signing. Def a business I refer my friends and family to :)

By far, the WORST finance company out there when trying to pay off a vehicle! Never again will I use Consumer Financial Services for financing a vehicle. Horrible communication skills, horrible customer service, horrible attitude, horrible manners.... The list continues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FINANCE COMPANY. So here's the story behind my review: I was selling my 2013 Ford Escape and they made that extraordinarily difficult to do because they "don't do pay off letters" for the purchasing company to be able to provide the needed funds. Mary-Whatever her name was YELLED.... LITERALLY YELLED at Aaron (We Buy Any Car) who was just simply doing his job and trying to get my account information for the paperwork and sale of my Ford. I am 36wks pregnant and I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half for freaken CFS to give We Buy Any Car my account\loan information. All of the unnecessary chaos that Mary-Whatever was causing ended up causing me to have back spasms and contractions! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!
I was so embarrassed by this review that I personally called Amie to apologize for how she was treated by my employee last week. In addition to that, I also wanted to put it in writing for all my employees and the general public to see. I, as an owner and branch manager of Consumer Financial Services can only only apologize and say that this is Not how we do business and that you should Not have been treated that way by one of my employees. I cannot offer a good reason why my employee refused you a pay off letter, we send them all the time and I know, or at least I thought, that I had made it clear to all my employees, that we will do anything within reason to accommodate a customers request. I have already had a meeting with the employee in question and have suspended her because of the way she treated you. Please know that she has worked for us for a several years and that this is the first time she has been involved in this type of negative situation with any of our customers. I am also, already planning a company meeting to cover our customer service standards and company policies to make sure that all my employees know and are committed to treating all our customers with the dignity and respect they deserve... Again, I apologize for how my employee mistreated and hope that you can forgive us.
Worst company I've dealt with. On my 6th loan with them and they just called me and treated me really bad because I paid through Western Union and not through some new system they never told me about. Very unprofessional collections process and antiquated system. I paid every loan I had early. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ROBIN!
Same customer left two separate negative reviews for the same complaint... Robin tried to apologize for calling after he had already made an online payment but Jimmy remained upset with us. We did apologize for his inconvenience several times during the heated conversation... We had mistakenly called this customer a day after he had made his payment on line through Western Union. We had transitioned away from WU several months earlier for a more effective and less expensive way for our customers to pay online. And, we had sent out a letter explaining the new option to all our customers. The day we called Jimmy in error, he got extremely irritated and started shouting and yelling that we were this and that for not knowing that he had already made his payment on WU. We explained and apologized that we didn't check our WU because all our other customers were already using our newer and less expensive option to pay online and that upset him even more. We tried to explain that we sent out a letter explaining the new payment option but he was already too aggravated with us at that point to hear anything we tried to say. We are sorry to lose Jimmy as a customer but given the way he screamed and shouted at us and called us horrible names, we would not consider him for another loan with our company under any circumstance.
These are some great people I called Rhonda and asked her for a loan on a trailer she said come on down 20 minutes later I had to check my hand to go buy the trailer I wanted great payments excellent service highly recommend getting a loan here Thank you again for the great service
Don't do it no matter how much you need to they prey on people and make money hand over fist doing so. There are always other options that do not require the nonsense you'll be dealing with this company for.
We don't have any customer named slogoat and I'm not sure they even exist or did any business with us ?? It is very difficult to respond to such a generic review. Slogoat stated that we "prey on people and make money hand over fist" ??? We have maintained a 4.5+ Google rating and a steady "A" rating with our local Better Business Bureau for the last twenty years, so we're definitely Not preying on our customers and I can assure you, and my wife will testify to the fact, that I do Not make money hand over fist. If I did, I would be on vacation some where really nice instead of responding to false, and usually somewhat petty, Google reviews.
Called me to solicit my business, even though I am on the federal do not call list.. Got my number from "a national data base" They responded 6 months after I filed my review, and asked for my records, and accusing me of confusing them with another company; that alone is offensive. Of course I do not have records any more. I only recall that I took notes and that is what the caller told me.
NO WE DID NOT CALL YOU !! We never called or attempted to solicit you for a loan in any way shape or form ! You're mistaken us for some other similar named company. We only call our current and past customers to solicit new loan business. We nave never purchased or used any kind of solicitation list, we are a community lender that relies on customer retention of our present and past customers to generate business. We have NEVER used any "national data base" and never will... Please check your records and you will find that you're confusing us with some other company. Please delete your negative review as well. Thank you.
Always a pleasure to deal with them, been in their office when its busy and im always amazed how even when treated extremely rude, they still try to solve the problem with respect and dignity AND STYLE! what they did and do for others is nothing short of magical. just watch out for the parking lot many jerks drive there always
Consumer Financial Services help me a lot as for my credit goes. I've gotten at least 6-7 loans from them. 1 auto loan and $500-$1500 personal loans and every time it was super easy. The people there are very helpful and super friendly too! Without a doubt I'd be still coming here but with all loans I've taken, it boosted my credit score and now I got credit cards with excellent rates.... miss all the guys there at Consumer Financial!

When I was in a rut, and needed help.. when no one else would help me, Consumer Finance was there for me. They got my life on track by trusting me when no one else seemed to care about me needing a car to survive. They gave me friendly reminders every month, and every time I would go into pay or call the pay, there was a friendly voice to help! My credit score has gone up and I couldn't be more thankful for a small family owned business like CFS! You guys rock.

I contacted a representative yesterday, he sounded very busy and put out by my inquiry. But he did inform me that they would have to run my credit it would take a couple of hours and what I would need to bring in. today I decided to call to confirm and a young lady answered the phone. I briefly told her of the conversation I had with her coworker yesterday. And she gave completely different instructions then he did. She did this in a way that was condescending and rude . I told her I would go to someone else and I did and immediately got approved. I generally do not leave reviews for businesses due to a single employees shortcomings. However I believe the whole experience was completely uncalled for and very unprofessional. I highly recommend overlooking this financial institution when you're on your search.

We are a locally owned family business that has worked very hard over the last twenty years to build up a loyal customer base and to become part of our local community. It hurts us to know you weren't treated in a the professional manner we encourage our employees to embrace and reflect on a daily basis and with every customer. I looked at your application and I see that we did approve you and even set a time for you to come and sign the loan papers. I don't know whom you spoke with here that was condescending but I apologize for that as well. I held a staff meeting to go over the Bad review you left us so we can hopefully learn from this situation and work twice as hard to do a Better job moving forward. Rude mannerisms .they do not do well on communication they're Petty and inconsistent. Having a long-term relationship with them they chose to end on bad terms after a car trade in over $40 with a dealership claiming they did not get a check within a 10-day period on a payoff when indeed it was there sitting on someone's desk I'm sure. THEY have the RUDEST people working there and apparently the manager doesn't communicate in a proper manner with other dealerships . So glad to be done with them. Talking to me in a rude disability voice was it for me.
Unfortunately, Stormy has left out half of the story... A dealer called us for a 10 day payoff and we provided that for them. We get countless calls from dealerships for payoffs, sometimes 3 or 4 different dealers for the same customer because the customer is shopping around for the best deal, car etc... The customer, Stormy, was set up for "Auto Pay" with us so as her monthly payment became due during this period and it was processed as scheduled. We of course, had no knowledge whether she had traded in the vehicle or not and she DID NOT call us and tell us to stop the "Auto Pay" on her account so the payment was processed and eventually returned to us which generated a $40.00 return check fee on the account. Stormy called us and was upset and we tried to explain that it was HER responsibility to call and inform us to stop her "Auto Pay" and that upset her even more. We apologized but also explained there is no way for us to know if she had actually traded her unit and that we have hundreds and hundreds of customers on "Auto Pay" and it would be impossible to check on all of them and that's why it's the customers responsibility to manage their own checking account in this type of situation... The dealership had called us on October 8, 2021 for the 10 day payoff but we did not receive the pay off until October 25, 2021, which was way past the 10 days the dealership requested. We did NOT charge Stormy the additional 7 days interest but we couldn't waive the $40.00 check fee. At this point, we refused to release the title to the dealer unless they sent us the additional $40.00 which they eventually did, and we then released and mailed the title to them. We're sorry that our relationship ended like this with Stormy. I was involved in the process and can say with all honesty that we weren't rude to Stormy or the dealership. We just couldn't tell her what she wanted to hear, or agree to do what she wanted us to do so she got and remained mad at us and then wrote this negative review to try and hurt us. We apologize again for any inconvenience we generated.
Just very unprofessional collection process. With insults, lying, name calling etc. All over them, not communicating properly with clients. They don't even know how to communicate very important updates through email or a text system and decided its my fault I sent my payment to Western Union how I've done it for years. . I’m going to redo my review and get into detail of how amazing the people that work in this office are. Our car had broke down a few weeks ago, called them and let them know what was going on so worried we weren’t going to afford to get it fixed cause we were talked by a dealership we took it to would cost thousands of dollars. Rhonda was very helpful and told me to take it to the car lot we had purchased our vehicle from. The next day we get a call from them saying they figured out what it was and was just going to cost us a few hundred to get it fixed and of course something like this happening we didn’t have that money put back. Well we were able to pay a little to the car lot and they worked with us and tacked the rest onto our car payment which was such a relief and took so much off our shoulders. Was told also if we weren’t able to pay that amount just to call cause they didn’t want us to stress about it. They have worked with us on this issue and is so helpful and very professional every time we call. Great people to do business with!

Then I called back with information requested not more than five minutes prior and the manager was a nightmare and had pulled my credit without any prior communication with me. And before that I was probably talking to the receptionist. PURE SHARKS I WOULD NOT RECOMEND!!!!
Pure Sharks ? I don't understand how you arrive at that conclusion. You called our office, requested a $500.00 loan, offered your 2014 Kia Soul up for collateral and willingly gave us all your personal information so we could try and get you approved. We of course, verify that information for accuracy and then check your credit file to determine your credit worthiness, we then use that information to either approve or deny the request and your request was Approved. Please know this is the same exact process every other finance company, credit union, mortgage company and bank uses as their business model as well. You complained that; "I called and was hung up from what it sounded like 3 times" I'm not sure what that really means but we checked our phone bank history and only found two calls from your number ? Maybe the problem you experienced was from a bad phone line connection ? Either way, we're sad that we didn't meet your expectations and we apologize that you had to try and call us a couple of times but, I absolutely disagree with your referring to us as "pure sharks" because we're not. I've been dealing with CFS, aka E-Z loan for 2yrs now and let me tell you how great they've been for me AND my family. 🤜🤛 In hard times, they've been very understanding and professional. They helped me stay in front of my payments, (no late payments 😉👍). They also help me with extra $$$ when I was stuck in a jam for rent. All and all, I've really appreciated and learned from them to stay ahead of my payments and kept in good standing. They look out for you. I'd like to thank all the great employees there and managment for there great efforts and knowledge in helping there customers.
