Pawn Max II US, Port Richey

Went in to the store yesterday, it was very clean and neat. Damiano and Anthony were great. Took the time to answer a few questions about items and also do a few seconds of research on questions they didn't know about the items we were looking at. Great overall experience. Wife loves the Bose headphones.

Words just can't describe how amazing my experience was , Anthony and Vanessa Were stupendous. Not only was the customer service top notch but everything was clean. Great atmosphere. The owner needs to seriously look at his employees whom have not one lick of business sense. Today I was called because my pawn payment was overdue by 1 day. Out of all the pawns I've conducted with them and paid hundreds of dollars a year in interest and never missed one payment and asked them to remove the extra payment for 1 day late and I was told she couldn't do it. So you received an extra $50 payment but lost me as a customer who has spent over $1,000 yearly in interest when I've made every one of my previous pawn payments on time and did not default once. I immediately came in paid in full their extra months payment and will never do business with pawn max II again. I am advising everyone also to go see Brent at the Golden Nugget right down the road who will give you better discounts especially when you want to pay it back early Golden Nugget will discount your fees that Pawn Max II will not. They have much better inventory including firearms and a huge jewelry selection. And a much friendlier and knowledgeable staff. Don't get me wrong Hunter is great along with one or 2 other employees but the lack of business sense by the females working at this store to loose a customer whom works for a pawn shop and knows what they should have done removed the extra charge to keep a good paying customer for years as opposed to loose them by being greedy and charging an extra month is not only the stupidest decision she could have made but shows the lack of business sense she has and her willingness to work with her customers. She obviously doesn't want my business and she's lost it now for good and not only lost my business but made me so angry I will personally convert 100 customers of theirs over to Brent at Golden Nugget where they will if you ask them the exact same question I asked her will forgo the last month's charge and work with you because they want your business, they. Are about their customers and I've been there customer for even longer never missed any payments and would gladly forgo the extra charge to continue doing business with me as a customer for life. I can't believe she's in charge and employed with this company. She also double charged the credit card of my friend who purchased a flash light $110 dollars instead of $10 on my previous visit and was so enept at her job didn't even catch it. My friend had to catch it and she couldn't reverse the transaction she had to pay him back with cash. This is by far the worst experience I've ever encountered with any business and I'm on a mission to make sure that my words carry weight and they notice a decline in sales because I don't want other customers experiencing the same. Never will I recommend pawn max II for anything. Do yourself a favor and see Brent at Golden Nugget right down the street where they want your business will work with you and even if you missed a payment will forgo the greediness and remove an extra month's payment because they want you as a customer. Not to mention much better inventory!

So I’m sorry it took a little bit used to apple phones. But this pawn shop right here is very well kept and organized. The manager and employee I met were phenomenal. I've been there twice hoping their jewelry would look better but waste of time. I don't know if they don't clean the jewelry, if the cases are dirty or the lighting in the cases are bad BUT something needs to change.

Just stopped in. Brian was quick to check on me. They had exactly what I was looking for, waiting for me at the door! I picked up a nice box with dual pioneer 12's, Hunter took the time to hook up the box and Amp I was looking at. He made sure everything was in good order before I walked out. The guys reminded me to double check my trunk to make sure I was good to go before the purchase. It's a pawn shop. Their stock is gonna be second hand, but it's good, and you save a buck or two! I'll definitely be back when I got some money burning a hole in the pocket!

I'll just stick to the store in Dunedin! The excitement about going to a pawn shop is that you never know what you're going to find. Well today I found 2 kayaks I was ready to buy them now and just ask that they hold them until I'm able to order a rack off a Amazon prime so I can transport them home. She told me even if I paid for them in full they would only hold them to the end of the day. Or I can put them in layaway and not receive any of the cash discounts. Very disappointing, as I am a cash consumer that loves a good deal and never utilizes layaway. She let an easy sale just walk away. The young man helping us was very nice and remembered me from the store in Dunedin where I will continue to shop.

Terrible prices on their items…Most of them are only a couple of dollars less than you would pay for a new one. The one on RT 19 has an old Trek bike that I was interested in…Needed a lot of work, and talc. They wanted $400 for it. Push mower outside for $300….etc etc And the laptops and tv were the same. Now you have to understand that these were all USED ITEMS Read a lot of the 5 star reviews here, and they all sound the same…even the wording…Hmnnnn! Go to Craigslist .

I’ve spent a good amount of money with this company between the few locations around me, but not fan of this location. Pawn shops are supposed to negotiate what they will buy or sell something for no? I mean that’s the point people go to pawn shops. The kid offered me a what I thought was a low offer, okay that’s fine I understand the cost of business but was pretty annoyed that the kids was not willing to even budge or give a little more for a Patron who spends time and money in their establishments…. I was reminded why I’d rather just sell stuff on my own. Won’t be a shopper at this location anymore I’ll stick to the 52 store where I’m not treated with arrogance. Also might want to fix the store hours. As it says the store closes at 9. Good day.

I frequent at golden nugget pawn for years, recently the staff their has been very pompous. So I decided to check this place out , from start to finish was an amazing experience. This was my second time visiting this location and I have to say they were both great experiences. Day helped me the first time pricing some items and was lovely to deal with, then Vanessa and Darren were there on my second visit and were also super friendly and helpful. They give you reasonable prices, and if they don’t think they can meet your expectations they give you advice on where else to look. Pawn Max seems to have a high standard with who they hire, and their business is cleanly & organized. Overall I would for sure visit this location pawn shop again, even just to say hello to the awesome staff there.

Hidden treasures are littered all over this Gem of a store! I really appreciated the fact that the moment I stepped in Pawn Max, every member of the staff greeted me with a personably warm welcome. The associate Hunter was attentive to the products I had interest in and both him and his colleague Anthony searched other stores for items i was interested I was able to purchase a ninja grill at a very reasonable price. Love this place!!!! Just purchased a 65 inch tv the guys who work there was wonderful Darren and Mike!’ Was very helpful, took their time explaining which one was the best tv to purchase gave me a warranty and everything this my first time coming here and I will definitely be back to shop!!!

This location treats their customers with respect and dignity. The Manager Darren is customer service oriented and a pleasure to do business with. The store is well lit and organized. If you are interested in buying used items they have great prices and they are in good or better condition.
