My experience was bad. Arrived early for my 10am appointment, waiting in my car for the doors to open. Meanwhile, another customer walked up and waited by the door. By the time I got out of my car and walked inside after the doors opened at 10am, the customer who waited by the door was served first by the banker assigned to my appointment. I waited close to 15 minutes while this person without an appointment was helped. Checks were ordered for me at the end of my appointment, and the wrong (old) shipping address was used. The banker did not ask me to confirm the shipping address nor did he look at it, as I told him multiple times throughout the visit that I needed new checks as my address had changed a while ago and I never ordered updated checks. Only through the email confirmation did I detect this ridiculous and grave error. I frantically called the branch and customer service and after 5 or 6 calls finally got through to a human, who corrected the mistake. Quite an unpleasant and stressful way to interrupt my quiet day off work.

I made an appointment yesterday, for 2:30 pm online for my son to open an account. There’s 3 bankers here. One is a male setting up another account for another person. I see a woman sitting at her desk on the computer and a woman walking around. I’m so irritated with all these banks in my area. There’s no water to drink. I’m beyond irritated. Absolutely terrible service so far. Very disappointed

I have had very good experiences at this branch. Because most everything is done online or at ATMs, I haven't actually gone into the branch much, but when I have, the tellers are very friendly and helpful. Needed notary service one day, and Leo was available to help. He took care to review the document to make sure everything looked legit, and it was free of charge since I am an account holder.

I never got a loan from the branch or used a notary service, but for all the services and transactions that I used the branch, I was always happy and satisfied. All matters were handled professionally and I've been helped properly. There is always someone ready to help you if there is a problem, and It is clear that they are trying hard to keep up to a high standard.

Occasionally, you get insanely bad customer service. The first two times I needed to talk to someone, it was ok. I had a short wait or no wait. The third time.... I never did end up talking to the associate. I arrived at 4:20, after leaving work a bit early. There were 3 people sitting in chairs, waiting. At 5:10 when I left in frustration, nothing had changed. From talking to the people ahead of me, I learned that the single associate had spent over an hour with the same couple. The person sitting next to me had an appointment at 4:30, and had arrived earlier than I did. I can understand that sometimes banking can take a while, but to not have someone available as a backup when it takes this long is simply inexcusable. To add insult to injury, they locked the doors at 5, and it took me an extra couple minutes to get the attention of the cashiers in order to get it unlocked so I could leave. Also, there was someone in the corner windowed office with the door closed doing something on his computer. The office was labeled "Merril Edge" so maybe he wasn't a real associate, but if so he should probably be replaced with one and moved to a back room.

This is the second time I've been here this year and they had no tellers available. The amazing thing is that they can pay somebody to stand there with a tablet to tell you that they have no tellers available. One star is way too many for this branch.

Teller Ron was my MVP today! He delivered great service with patience and grace. Deducted a star because the two people at the front desk when I entered (a man and woman, didn’t catch their names) on the afternoon of 12/7 refused to help Ron when he politely asked them for assistance, so that the man behind me wouldn’t have such a long wait. He had the customer experience in mind, and a focus on great service, but his coworkers told him to do it himself and continued talking to one another. That’s not very nice, and I think they should be ashamed of themselves. The woman talked down to Ron for no good reason in front of me and another customer. Gross.

Absolutely, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from the banker, Conner Weinman. Came to the bank at 4:30 to close my checking account. He told me that they couldn’t close my account because I didn’t have an appointment? I’ve never made an appointment for opening or closing a bank account. When I asked about why an appointment was needed, he said because of banker availability — even though there were 3 available bankers at the time. I was also given the excuse that it would take an hour to close my bank account. Really? It was really just a matter of the employee, Conner Weinman, being too lazy to assist a customer near closing time. When you go into any business that is not yet closed, the business is expected to help the customer at least until closing time. If you stop serving customers at 4:30, you should specify that in the branch hours. I was able to call customer service and close my account in less than 5 minutes. Stay away from this branch. They are extremely lazy and will try to squeeze money out of you by not closing your account and charging you monthly fees and overdraft fees. Absolutely ridiculous.

I worked in the financial sector and the reps of BoA love blaming others than actually making solutions for their customers. My wife has been a long time customer of theirs and now she is disappointed with their services. I had to figure out a solution with a competitor so that she could get what she needed complete which was simple Name Change. Now she is closing her accounts and moving over to Chase. Good luck to you all when the MVD and organizations make it 10x harder to just change your name.

Home Loans process with Bank of America is below average.....with excellent credit and zero debt and being a platinum rewards preferred client they couldn't close my loan on time in October. My loan was less than 80k and they missed the deadline. Should have been a slam dunk no brainer process.... Long story short they are hard to get ahold of and take no responsibility for anything. Half the time my loan officer Jade at the Chandler, AZ location was out of the office and didn't seem knowledgeable on much of the process. I tried several times to reach out to his manager Doug Peveto who I actually never even heard from.....I pursued their Close on Time Commitment which gives you $500 if they are at fault for missing the close date. Not surprisingly Jade and his team at the bank assured me that they weren't at fault. I did some digging and my realtor contacted my escrow officer who actually had proof that she advised the bank of the close date and what needed to be done.....the bank missed or ignored the details. Long story short I just received finally my $500 check (almost 2 months later) from Bank of America because they were at fault......surprise surprise. Do not use them for home loans.
