ATM (Suntrust Bank) Whitlock Ave, Marietta

I hate having to do this, especially since my issue is with Truist. They just changed names this weekend, 2/18. I come the following Tuesday, today, and attempt to cash my check as I have done for about 3 years. Never an issue. Until the merger. Suddenly they can't explain why i, a customer of SunTrust for over 15 years, and 5 years at this particular location, am unable to cash my check with my ID and debit card. No explanation? For a customer of almost 2 decades. What a great way to start off a new bank. It seems they cleared out the old crew, so anyone I speak with is going to be brand new. It's pretty disappointing and annoying. I mean, is it impossible to check the account for funds, like has always been done? Weird, how with the implementation of better tech, somehow they lack services they had before.

Well it happened again… I am in front of the line with seven people behind me… Three people behind the window and no one helping us… The sign in front of one teller says "next tellerr please"… The sign of the other teller says "next window"… No windows open? It takes them five minutes to wait on me, how long did it take to serve the other seven people behind me? Not sure what's going on with this branch… I go to West Cobb now, 7 miles away from home just to avoid this branch… Thought I would give it a try today but at lunchtime no help for the eight of us in line… SunTrust, you need to do something about this… This is customer dis-service… A terrible experience that will lose you customers… And I am not far from moving my money to another bank… I am sure Bank of America or one of the others closer would love to have my business… SUNTRUST, you are not what you used to be.

The lines are ridiculously line. Customer service sucks. They need more tellers. I waited in libe for 25 mintues.

SunTrust have your tellers quickly determine if a drive in transaction will take more than 10 minutes. Lengthy transactions other than a deposit, loan payment, or check cashing should be handled inside without an appointment. I say this because today during this covid19 period where we are required to use a drive thru the car immediately in front of mine was there at least 20 minutes before it moved to the front of the bank I guess at bank’s request. Very stressful when you are stuck behind a car for about 20 minutes and there are two cars behind and there is no where to go while in the next lane 3 cars/customers have been processed through.

I have banked with SunTrust for a few years and I have never been disappointed. I feel that this is the best bank, by far, that I have ever used! Thank you so much SunTrust, you've been great for everything regarding me and my mother's affairs upon her passing.
