Need more staff. Only 2 people working at 6 pm. After work hours. They always have to call headquarters for authorization to receive a child support payment. Today My teller waited over 15 minutes for someone to answer. They can’t receive payment without headquarters authorization. Stupid. Receive payment and let me go. Do what you have to on your own time, not mine.

Quick in and out experience for me grabbing a money order. I noticed that its pretty quiet in there between 2-6 pm but they always have staff in there when it does get busy. I always love the Tootsie pops and the rolls they give.

Called ahead told them my situation with my direct deposit and what kind of card i have so there would be no wasting of my time. They said everything was good and come on in. So i do and go through the whole app. They say im approved for like 400.00 i only want 50 and 45 mins of my time is wasted because they said they dont recognize my card type lol. Horrible experience with people who have no idea what they are doing. Never again!

This place is a rip off!!! You're better off cashing your check at the liquor store!!! It's a heck of a lot cheaper, trust me!!!! And moneys orders are only free if you have cash, otherwise there's another outrageous fee to purchase one with a credit or debit card. I recommend getting a bank account to anyone thinking of using this service!!!

I want to thank Molly- she was so kind and helpful just over the phone! She has great phone etiquette. In person, getting emergency money has never been easier. Thanks Amscot and Molly!

My husband and I have done business with this store for years....the employees are ALWAYS courteous and very kind to us!!! They have smiles on their faces and all act as if they truly enjoy their jobs....Curtis is always so business like, professional and kind. The employees are all so knowledgeable and I think that says a lot about the person(s) responsible for training them! There is not a large turnover in employment at this store so that also says something about management.

Great people. Unfortunately whenever I use my driver's license. The system always flags my DOB. For some reason there's a discrepency and I have to wait for them to call corporate to verify my DOB. It's an inconvenience and somehow it can never get updated.

Literally had to call In to cash my check from my job that i get every week and then the manager pretty much threw my money down underneath the window will never come to this amscot again piss poor service
