My honest experience: I was in the market to buy a truck before the end of the year so I could maximize my tax deductions. I went to every reputable dealership in the area and settled on buying an F150. I decided on Young Ford because I felt they actually cared about me and didn’t look at me as another number to cross off their numbers board. I worked with Richie, Trevor, and Sam in sales. All in all, have no complaints with how I was treated in the sales process. Richie - awesome with checking inventory and getting trucks to their lot so I could test drive them. Trevor - easy to talk to and never pressured me to move forward. He asked me the right questions so I could make a decision on my own with what truck I wanted to buy. Sam - his follow up game is next level. He will reach out every few weeks to make sure I’m happy with my purchase and asks if there’s anything he can do. Even wrote me a handwritten card on my birthday. I decided to finance my truck through the dealership and I worked with Garrett. There was some hiccups with finding me financing but I felt Garrett worked hard to make sure I was in a good position with interests rates and was easy to work with. Overall, pleased with my experience and would recommend.

Had a great buying experience thanks to Richie! If you go here ask for the irish gentleman, you wont be disappointed. He did everything quickly, and super friendly. I have recently bought a vechile from another small dealer, and that experienced sucked! I'm glad I was able to work with Richie, he took the time to make sure the car was clean inside and out. Our experience with Young Ford and our salesman Wes turned out to be one of our best at a dealership. We’ve bought a lot of vehicles and had some good, and not so good experiences. We weren’t going to buy just yet with inflation the way it is, but we seen a truck we liked enough to ask about anyway. Things just happened to align and we now have a beautiful Ford Super Duty! Wes has been very helpful and has answered questions for us even 2 weeks after the purchase. He wasn’t pushy at all, and just talked to us like normal people. I had a terrible experience with Young Ford Ogden. I sold them my truck made a deal, and almost done signing papers they tried to get my tonneau cover in the deal, or they’d void it. The deal we made was without it because they wouldn’t pay for it. So they voided the deal. I complained and once they figured out that I wasn’t going to give it to them they did the paperwork again and bought the truck. They thought they could get more because the papers were done. Shady. Then it took almost 2 months to get my lease paid off and to get me my check for the difference in the payoff and what they paid. They took no responsibility just blamed the leasing company. One other thing… they were offering a $500 gift card for buying customers cars but did not honor it on my deal, then some girl called me and said she’d make it right and I never heard from them again. Also their service department tried to refuse to warranty a muffler that sounded like it was from a 1984 truck on my 2021 F150. Finally they replaced it but I had to argue about it to get it done. Not going back.

January 7, 2022 I went into Young Ford in Ogden to order a new F250 Lariat Black Appearance package ( in place of the chrome and have bumpers painted to match) with the Tremor, and that is when I was introduced to Jack who was going to help me build exactly what I wanted. I am not sure what happened after the 5 hours of spending at the dealership building my truck together, but it was ordered wrong. I made several appointments with Jack to try and figure out how things were going to play out to make the truck that got ordered be the truck I thought I was ordering. Took time from work to meet with him, he was never on time, would forget about appointments, didn’t remember me, gave me the run around about what was going on with timelines, pricing was never the same. I was frustrated and overwhelmed, they assured me that once the truck was delivered, they would make it right. I felt okay about the plan to fix what was ordered wrong by his manager; is what we were told. By the time my truck arrived at the dealership I felt I already had been living a nightmare; it only continued. Multiple parts not ordered: bed liner, wheel liners, 360 camera, black appearance package, bumpers painted to match. I had to order aftermarket Headlight because they sent halogen headlights instead of wiring and blamed it on the factory, had to call multiple times to figure out what was going on and when things were really going to happen; I was never told the same story. I am still waiting for Jack to get back with me about my check they owe me for overcharging me for 3 bumpers. The bumpers that were supposed to be painted to match do not match. I am very frustrated with my overall experience at Young Ford, and I hope that no one else would have to experience what I did. Do not buy any vehicle from this dealership!!

Young Ford of Ogden neglected actually completing my tune up that cost over $1,700. They did not replace the battery I paid for, it still leaks. They did not flush ANY fluids from my vehicle. My power steering fluid is like sludge. Do not patronize this dealership, save your money and go elsewhere. Untrustworthy.

UPDATED. From first contact from Cailin through purchasing my Explorer with Jordan Mickles my experience easier than most. They were friendly, knowledgeable and over all very nice people! Jordan had me do this review before finishing the paperwork for the sale. During our haggling phase there were a couple of things said that left me feeling they thought I was 5 years old or a dumb old lady. Then Jordan was hard to reach via phone or text when checking to see if the Explorer came in after the 2 weeks quoted to me. I ended up going to another dealership that treated me so much better.

For their servicing department. Really hard to get ahold of them by phone. Also they twice put me on hold then hung up on me, then when I call back blame me for hanging up. Lastly I had a $125 diagnosis and they randomly had a $19 "misc fee" that they didn't explain and warn me about. Looks like they charge 15% extra for "shop supply costs" which I think is super lame and they should spell out the total price instead of tacking things like this on.

Bought a 2014 F150 through Abenity with them. Left timing chain blew on the Cam. Engine on back order across the nation, only 7 made in the last two months. Dealership lax in responsiveness on service, management refusing to reach out and come to some sort of arrangement on the vehicle as the dealership that sold it to me. **Edit Chad and Kevin worked to get this taken care of for me ASAP when they finally were able to source a motor. Once I go it home it was discovered that there was a hairline fracture in the oil pan. Young had the vehicle towed all the way back up to Ogden from the South Jordan area and had the pan replaced within 2 days. Excellent service. Will use them again.

Update!!!!!!!! 8 months later and they still dont have the correct part so they got authorization from Ford to just wire something to fix it........ why not do this 8 months ago? They charge me 200 bucks for a battery that was dead because my car sat on thier lot for to long. Which is thier fault since they did not have the part but still made me pay for it. I also asked them to fix my radio antenna and they said they would... no surprise they didn't. This place is a joke, I would avoid at all cost. This place is a joke. I take my car in to get it fixed because they did not fix it correctly the first time. I wait 3 weeks for a part that is probably never going to come. During that time my car dies. They tell me to come get it, it limps out of the dealership and I get it home to find out my hybrid batter is completely toast. I have called 5 times today and no one with answer the phone. I get better customer service from Comcast. Update!!! It's been 5 months and still nothing. Still have a dead car in my driveway and have heard nothing from them!!!

Richy (The Irishman) greeted us when we arrived to look at the new F150 pick ups. My husband and I had decided to buy a trailer and go camping. then we realized we needed a pick up to tow it. Richy was so very helpful with all the information we needed to know about towing and how Ford offers towing packages that really help out with towing. That was the truck for me. We test drove several of the trucks and finally found the perfect truck for us. I was so darn excited as the truck Richy found was exactly ( and More ) of what we were looking for. I generally like Young Ford Ogden, but I had such a bad experience picking up my truck that I'm compelled to write about it. I can live with imperfections in service, but I can't live with the ignorant, argumentative attitude I got from the service agent. I offered a suggestion on how the customer experience could be better for me and he went right to "well I'll just call up Ford headquarters and get that changed for you." and it went downhill from there.

I Picked up our 2013 105,000 mi Explorer yesterday after a new water pump install. (major work since pump runs off of timing chain). Car appeared to have been washed and looked almost like new. The Radio AM/FM station settings were as we had left them even though I'm sure they disconnected the battery. (At other shops I would always have to sit and reprogram all the desired stations after picking a car up). Young offers a VA/Military discount of 10% which really helped. I was pleased to learn they also include a 2 year unlimited miles warranty on their parts and labor. JD the service writer was a super help by counseling me about other items that I should consider replacing while the front of the engine was opened up like new timing chain & tensioners, spark plugs etc. which I chose to do thanks to his counsel. The price was extremely fair compared to other estimates. The car drives like new with great power. Young Ford Ogden is now our family's first choice for vehicle repair and maintenance. The staff is always friendly but I’ve not been impressed with the car servicing at all! The last time I took my vehicle in for its oil change my tire had a slow leak and I asked them to take a look at it. When I picked up my vehicle they didn’t even check it (tire light was still on), I mentioned this to them and they just took it back and filled it up with air. I finally took it in to Big O and they found a big screw through the tire. Ford didn’t even care to check! I’ve had other experiences similar to this.

We worked with rich or Richie. He was awful and insulted my wife treating her like a child when I wasn't around when the vehicle was for her. He would only talk about the car she was supposed to building how she wanted it. He treated her like she couldn't make decisions for her car and all I did was go to the restroom. I told him that he insulted us and asked to work with someone else and told me he was sorry and to do the process online and said our x plan didn't work for the car we wanted. We left still with many unanswered questions and feeling like I just wasted 2 hours or driving up to the dealership for someone to insult my wife. We still had to go to another dealership because the sales person didn't think we were capable of purchasing the vehicle we went to get info on. It was a waste of my time and money to come out there.

Trevor is awesome! I came looking for a used newer F150 and Trevor showed me a few different options and ended up taking me to one of their other lots to find the truck that i was looking for that checked all of my boxes. He was very patient and informative to every question i had and the best part is even after i bought the truck he has reached out several times to make sure everything was good and if i needed anything which seems unheard of after the deal is done. I would highly recommend asking for him if you are looking for a new vehicle you will not be disappointed.

Young ford's service department is incompetent and couldn't communicate their way out of a paper sack! Last time I brought my van in for a service recal, only to pick it up way after the quoted time to only make it 40 feet before THE DRIVE LINE FELL OFF THE VAN! I should have known better, but went back to them because they told they could reprogram the keypad on the van door so I could use it for entry if I lost a key and also make me a spare key. After being quoted 1 hour multiple times, it took them 4 hours to only make me a spare and weren't even able to figure out how to n program the keypad wich was the only reason I took it to them. Terrible communication through the whole process, and they have no respect for people's time!

Wes was so awesome! I was having a difficult time deciding between two colors. When Wes found out the Edge was coming, in the color I wanted, he remembered me and reached out. His customer service was outstanding.

There is no WAY this place is above 2 stars. Trash, go to Layton or elsewhere. You won’t want to come back twice once your car breaks down. Just avoid it in general. Maybe buy a Dodge, Chevy, Toyota. Just avoid this place.

I came in already knowing I wanted a Bronco Sport and I already had all my specifications ready to go. I’m going to update my review of purchasing a truck with Jack. He was a friendly enough salesman and was pleasant to work with. After the deal was done, I was told that I wouldn’t be able to pick up my truck for at least a week due to tires needing to be shipped in. No big deal, I get it, supply chain issues due to Covid. I have repeatedly asked to have the truck detailed so I can pick it up and we can schedule a service date once the tires arrive. Here we are, over a week later, and now a check engine light supposedly came on that can’t be serviced until at least Monday. I still haven’t been able to pick up the truck, and it will likely be at least two weeks from the time I bought the truck until I can pick it up. This is getting beyond frustrating. It feels like pulling teeth to figure out what is actually going on, and has been by far the most frustrating buying experience I’ve ever had.

Update: MJ the Service Manager brought me into his office to apologize for the experience outlined below. He discounted my final bill significantly, and told me that they will work to improve communication, to prevent this from happening again. My Service Rep also was apologetic and owned the mistake. They did all they could to make things right, which I appreciate. This showed me that they care about their customers, and the overall customer experience. Original post: Dropped my vehicle off at 8:00 a.m. for a fairly minor repair. Their ride service dropped me off at my work place. I was told I would be contacted soon. No one called. At 4:30 p.m. I decided to call them. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone, then someone finally called me back. They just barely got to my vehicle and decided that they will now need it overnight. I’m now stranded at work. At no point did anyone say it would be a two day job, and that I wouldn’t have a way to get home from work. And to book the appointment was a two month wait. This was my experience. Your are better off going somewhere else.

Nice salesman but dishonest dealership. They promise things over the phone that aren’t true. When you get there the whole story is different. Price went up, required paint protection package required lo-jack, required wheel and tire protection package. “We do it to all of our cars.” The day will come when we can order our cars just like we want them without worrying about the warlords behind the glass. The financial part will all be online and the car will show up just like an Amazon package. I can’t wait. Going to a car dealership is worse than getting a colonoscopy.
