Yael was a godsend in helping me close my first home purchase. Whereas with other mortgage brokers and banks I felt like the attitude was always - "sorry we can't help you with this issue you are encountering", with Yael it was clear she was always pushing to find a solution to any issue I encountered. She made me confident that the loan would close and that there was no problem too big or too small for her. She also really knows the market in Brooklyn and understands the value of homes in more ways than some of the other non-local mortgage brokers I was consulting. This helped immensely in the process. I went to Yael 6 years ago based on a recommendation from a broker and I had such a positive experience that I went back to her 4 years later to do a refinance and I'm working with her again now on another mortgage. My real estate agent in Toms River - Yosef Segal (great real estate agent if you looking to buy in Toms River or Jackson) recommended me to contact her. Then, during the mortgage process Yael assigned Rivky to handle my application and she was always available by phone and email to answer any question. And if there's something I'm looking at when I get a service from any business I work with - is a quick response. And Yael and her team always responded quick. During the application they communicated on a daily basis with an updates and when needed communicated with my agent and the seller agent and made the process smooth and efficient. When I was reading some reviews about Yael when I started the mortgage process, I saw a comment about her in Yelp saying that she beg to her clients to give her 5 stars and good reviews - guess what! She never asked me to do so. Actually after I got the mortgage I asked if she wants me to rate her 5 stars and the answer was only "thank you". But no one really asked me to do so. So here I give 5 stars. Not because anyone asked me to do so, but because I got a great service and I think she deserves 5 stars. So if you getting a new home, I really recommend work with Yael from FM.
