Do yourself a favor and work with Nathan Perlstein. I had the unfortunate experience of being too far down the path with another lender to be able to complete a deal with FM, but I really wish I had worked with them from the beginning. Nathan was my primary contact and I cannot recommend him more highly. Nathan and his team were able to do as much in 3 weeks as a competitive lender took 4 months to complete. I am not a real estate professional and my deal was relatively small by NY standards. But Nathan and his team took the time to explain the details and all costs and processes. They were thorough, professional, highly communicative, and most importantly - they understand the challenges and complexities of NY real estate that the large national lenders and many of the smaller lenders don't. 10/10

Judy from FM home loans was great!!! I will definitely use her again. She is very fast in responding and very knowledgeable in all aspect. And the best part she always gets back to you and the closing from beginning to end was faster then I anticipated. Highly recommend.

Worse experience when I tried to refinance. Calvin Lam was incompetent, don’t do any follow, don’t check his e mail, he don’t value his clients time or need any time I called him “something was wrong with his system” and then few days later he would send an e mail asking for stuff that I had already shared. And David Mizrahi was worse he never picked up any calls or reply to any e mail. I dealt with this process for 6 month until I had to tell then to cancel all process and I will take my business somewhere else.

Bad experience!!!, FM will do the bare minimum when it comes to looking out for the client or putting the client in the best position possible to succeed. I Definitely recommend you SHOP AROUND before purchasing a mortgage or refinancing with this company. FM are not A lenders ! & is extremely slow when it comes to closing . IF they close !, FM talks a good game but is very capable of dropping the ball & going M.I.A ,,, if you decide to give FM your business I hope you have a better experience with them than I had because I was EXTREMELY disappointed
