I recently experienced bank fraud and was lucky enough to catch it in the app; the team at Woodforest were able to see me the same day, assist with my dispute, and were able to not only get my money back but they even made sure that the overdraft fees were refunded! Sad as it is to say, not many banks are as helpful and expedient as they are... love these guys!

The people here know you by name, are always cheerful, incredibly helpful, and make first-timers feel welcome and hear them out with any questions they might have. Opening an account was so much less painful than I thought it'd be. I'm not even a social person and I try to ensure that I say hello every time I'm at Walmart while they're open, even if I'm not doing any business with them.

god forbid you overdraft your account by even twelve cents. Friendly customer service until it comes to common decency. Extremely predatory overdraft practices protected by corporate policy. Encourage anyone to use a credit union over this corporate sham.
