Vista Pawn S Vista Ave, Boise

I work at one of the highest rated pawn shops in Utah. I like to visit other shops when I go out of state to compare them to mine. This shop was amazing. Very clean and organized. Great prices on everything. The staff was very friendly. I was so impressed.

I pop in from time to time checking out games. I usually see Lee or Kali they are always helpful. It's a great store to find a great deal.

Today we decided to check out Vista Pawn for some jacks, when we were leaving we realized our truck had died. Cody who was not only respectful, quick, and knowledgeable in helping us make our purchase for the right kind of jacks for what we need he was also kind enough to help us jump start our truck! I’ve never liked going to a “pawn shop” because I usually feel weird about being there but Cody was all around amazing and didn’t make it weird at all! Thank you Cody! Well he back again because of you!

So I will start off by saying that the store was pretty clean and it was well organized. I'm giving a one-star as there were six people working and not one of them took the time to say hello, how can I help you anything of that nature. I can understand if the store is busy and understaffed. I was the only customer in the store and there were six employees. I'd have to say I don't think I will ever be going back nor will I recommend them to friends and family.

I went in to sell some old family jewelry. The store associate I worked with was Kayla (hope I spelled it right) and she was really great. I got a good price for my things and she really went above and beyond with any questions I had. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

My wife called and spoke to Mary about a Mossberg 12ga they showed as in stock on ZIdaho and Mary said she would put a hold on it until after I was off work and could come pick it up. When I got there Mary told me that they had sold the gun even though she supposedly put a hold on it, I looked at the 12ga they had in stock while some kid who clearly knew nothing about guns kept trying to push me into an over under that was more than double the price of the gun I originally walked into buy. I looked at a Stoeger that was a little more but they were unwilling to work with the price, despite already making me drive out of my way to pick up a gun they said they'd put on hold for me, I would jave bought the slightly more expensive gun had they at least been willing to meet in the middle on the price. Save your time and skip this store and go to someone more knowledgeable and who will honor their word.

Dane was great to work with and very knowledgeable about their products. He didn’t push me to buy something expensive but instead helped me find something that not only met my expectations but was cheaper than what I had originally picked out. He helped me make an educated decision and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. I really appreciated him taking the time to listen to me and help me find something affordable. I would recommend Dane to anyone going into Vista Pawn needing help with electronics or anything else for that matter. He was great and I can’t say enough how much I appreciated him and his help.

Great staff- and ownership. A pothole in the parking lot destroyed my front bumper. Owners called me within an hour and settled it outright. They went above and beyond and their corrective action was immediate. I have nothing but respect for business owners who own issues that come up and do right by their patrons. Vista Pawn proprietors most definitely define true Americans and humble people!

Vista pawn is probably the best pawn shop I've ever been to! The customers always come first. The management are all amazing, and all the employees will all do their best to give you the experience the no other pawnshop will! Having something for everyone and an environment where you can get great deals or get a reasonable amount of money for a loan or selling your items, you can't beat Vista pawn!!

Love this pawn shop always has all the knowledgeable staff who's been there forever. Kali has sold my fiancé an engagement ring. Go check it out Cody, Lee, Kelly & Conner all great staff always there for us.

Next time you get speakers from the pawn shop make sure they test them out because I got speakers yesterday, they didn’t test them out for me which they’re supposed to do that and turned out my 119.00$ speakers are defective, secondly when the dude who checked me out yesterday lies to me n all his co workers saying he showed me how the speakers sounded today when him and I both knew he didn’t show me anything, lol I would’ve been happy with a refund or for you to tell the truth to ur customers n coworkers.

Too picky, & are falsely advertising on their sign in front. Not only that, but the service at the counter was very lame & rude too!!! I will never use Vista Pawn, at ANY of their locations. Too bad, bye-bye!!!!!🧐

Great place! When buying you can always find reasonable prices, most the time they’re better than reasonable. When pawing they always do what they can to help you out. They’re straightforward about an item’s pricing, worth, and overall value for you and them in turn. Hearing why you’re getting the price you’re getting helps you to understand why it’s a fair amount, for both parties. But they still go above when they can. Great place!

Vista Pawn must be struggling financially. To have used items a mere $10-$15 less than they are brand new isn't a bargain price worth pursuing. Marketplace and Craigslist are far superior.

Vista pawn is a great pawnshop, Mr. Lee and his team are always helpful and knowledgeable on the items they carry, i would definitely recommend them as the best pawn shop in boise!

Got an amazing deal on a smart TV and an xbox 360,vi won't say what I paid because I don't want to lock them down, but it was an amazing deal I had to say yes to. Also, both of the products are great quality. This is the only pawn shop I trust. If you need cash, grab something and swing it by, they pay more than most, and you have a month to pick it up with a few days grace period just in case.

Pretty shadey. I had items stolen. The police told me to call pawn shops in the area. I talked to a lady on the phone (Vista Pawn) that refused to even take any information on the stolen items to watch for them and would not help at all . The police told me to contact them directly. These people are happy to take stolen items and profit off of them in my opinion and that's a pretty garbage thing to do. This is not Boise anymore its little California.

Even though I had to drive past a trillion pawn shops to get here my roommate insisted I come to this location and I'm glad I did. Every one was very nice but, Tim helped me and he was amazing. I feel like he actually listened to me and cared that I was in a tough spot and really tried to help me. Thankfully he did and I was able to get in and out quickly and with exactly what I needed. Thanks Tim!
