They will not talk to you with respect but DEMAND you talk with them that way. When asking about your situation their reply is oh so you are like everyone else. No if I was like everyone else I wouldn't have tests that I can't payoff at one time. Try to make arrangements and your told that's not enough (won't make them happy) but in the next breath we are trying to help you. If I had to have the tests ( not a request I made) then I had to miss work. If I had another test then I'm still sick. But I told the "man" I'd pay $50 a payday. And that's what I'll do even though he wasn't happy. Guess what I'm not happy being sick either.

Better to just call whoever the debt is from. Advantage called me a bunch of times for a bill that Medicaid should have paid. Took my Insurance information and still kept calling for payment. They had me get ahold of insurance who said there isn’t a problem on their end and that nothing had been filed. All Advantage had to say was they aren’t responsible for contacting insurance even tho that’s the only way insurance knows to pay. So why leven take my insurance info in the beginning then? Shady company with horribly rude toned employees. I called the original debtor and they fixed everything right away no issues.

The person who I spoke to on the phone today was extremely rude. I had told him I called prev and spoke to someone who told me my account was cancelled. He told me that is not true because they record everything and I never called. Also he stated no one would every tell me that. I was offended because he was basically calling me a liar. I told him I paid off the debt with the prev company and he also told me that is not true because they wont accept payment. Mind you I have receipts for everything. So once again he was implying that I was lying. I told him I was very frustrated and he told me to go ahead and be frustrated. He continued to talk over me and have a terrible attitude. He should not work with people ever. He said he does not have to have customer service because they are a debt collector. This really makes me want to call back and pay my remaining balance hahah, not really. This was a terrible experience and if I could give them zero stars I would. I can imagine he is costing this company a lot of money.

I got the lovely pleasure to deal with these not so wonderful people. My medical bill was sent over to their company. When Carma first reached out, I informed her that I couldn't do anything until the end of the months when it comes to my extra bills. I received a letter dated for June 11 then yesterday just got a letter from their attorney. I called Carma today to see if there was a payment plan I could get on or if there was a way to work this out. She informed me the only way was to pay half of the $812 bill. I told her several times I don't have $400 just laying around to make that kind of payment and if I did, I sure as hell would have already done that. There was absolutely no working with her at all. She had only called me a couple of times at the beginning of the month and every time I informed her I can't do anything until the end of the month. Then she tried to tell me that she has sent me numerous of statements to my house and I have only received one statement. This is the worst company in the history of creditors and they are refusing any type of payment from me. Truly the most disrespectful person I have spoken to in awhile.

I agree with everyone else's 1 star rating. If I could give this company a 0 or negative rating I would. Literally just trying to pay off a debt with what I can afford and it's just not good enough? Then continuing to give me an outstanding payment per month? And the guy I talked to was straight up rude and didn't care to work with me at all with my limited income.

James is the guy who answered, bad attitude. I asked if the call was recorded, he threw a tantrum. I was not going to give him any info unless I knew the call was going to be recorded. I called 3 times. And he told me to stop calling. Apparently the debt is bogus. Because where it is from was covered under workman's comp.

Had the unpleasant encounter with a person named James that works for this company. I call to start paying off my old medical bills, however this person was a complete jerk. He constantly interrupted me and because I called him out on his huffing and puffing during our conversation he hung up in my face. This guy has no customer service skills, and I would imagine that he's costing the company a lot of money. I refused to call back and deal with them, I'll let them figure this one out.

There are plenty of good people that work here, I am a good customer and paid them, but I never technically owed Advantage Financial but they made it right and reimbursed me for what I paid them. Long story, but I was right and not going to mention names but now 'he' knows that I was right. I can't believe all the hate I'm seeing on these reviews. You hateful people need JESUS! Thank you AF for paying me back.

James is an absolutely terrible person to have to work with. He called about a bill I shouldn't have gotten for a workman's comp claim and told me he needed ALL of my workman's comp information but all I have is my adjuster information and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention there was no reason for him to need to contact me either way. I'm not even sure if it's a real bill or not just due to his demeanor.

James is who I have spoken with two different times to pay the same bill. The first time I couldn't even handle his attitude long enough to complete the payment. The second time I held on long enough to have it completed. But he was rude and an overall POS. This man should not have a job anywhere especially one that requires him to to talk to other people.

They deserve all negative stars!! I had been making payments, went to make another payment but was unable to, called twice as I never got a cb as I was told I would had also emailed which is on their website but told they do not communicate thru email, was transferred to James, he was very rude when I was asking why I could no longer make payments and why a writ was put against me. He informed me I had not been in contact which I had when I discussed making payments in August. I had not received any additional calls which James said they called me often and that my payments were agreeable to me not them. Also he told me I had been served the forms which I have not and that they do not need to notify ppl when they try to collect, told me all I wanted to do was argue and James hung up on me. I had to call the marshalls office to figure out what was going on.

My medical bills were in negotiations with a workers compensation claim, although I was unable to work we were making 25 dollar monthly payments to several places but Advantage ceased sending statements so we didn't know there was a balance. They added hundreds of dollars in "fees" and were condescending and unprofessional on the phone when I called to discuss it. Made a horrible time in my life even worse and more difficult. Made it impossible to get a car loan when we needed it and seemed to take pride in their lack of empathy. These companies should be illegal.
