USA Pawn & Jewelry Se Stark St, Portland

I bought 2 55in TV's for a family members new home. The first night they hooked up one and it had a completely shattered screen. The second TV will not stay on for more that 10 minutes at a time and is just sitting unusable in the corner at their house. I also bought a ring that I was told was gold with diamonds. When I took the ring to be cleaned 2 days later I found out that the so called diamonds were all zircon. I tried to bring the items back 2 days later and was told that despite the misrepresentation from their employee all sales were final and I could not get any money back for the TV's or the ring! I've spent a lot of money on jewelry at this location and now I have to get it all checked out! I don't know if its new management or what but there is no customer appreciation or value here at all anymore! They now sell garbage as if they have no conscience!

Let me just say, if I were a store manager and one of my employees accidentally made an offer on something that was a little to high. I would honor the first offer, take that one tiny loss(which wouldn’t have been a loss because I pay back all my loans), and then talked to my employee afterwards so it didn’t happen again. The LAST thing I would do is offer the customer that just drove home charged the batteries and drove all the way back thinking he was getting what was already offered, LESS THAN HALF of what the first offer was. Extremely Unprofessional if you ask me. But hey I’m not a store manager so what do I know?

This place is horrible If I could give them 0 I would because your customer service is not there I Was there 3 minutes before they closed and they locked the door on me and my son and oh my One year old baby I will never go to this place again nor will I ever recommend it to anybody that's a horrible place and them employees need an attitude check really bad and they don't deserve to work there

Always friendly even though it's very high stress job. Always as fast as possible even when store is extremely busy. Always gives fair loan amounts. Thanks for always being there USA PAWN!!!

They always have the best price and are a awesome crowd of staff makes you feel more at home then at a store it’s just a relaxing awesomeness of a atmosphere and always makes you wanna come back!

I love this store. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and I’ve gotten to know all the employees here. Some have moved on to higher up positions and some have moved to other locations and are missed but Ray is doing a phenomenal job as the store manager. Kim has really great customer service and is so friendly and helpful. Jason has always been really great to work with too. They’ve given us fair prices and have helped us out tremendously. I will always look here first to buy something that I think there’s a chance of them having before buying new and paying full price and happy to give them my business. I will say that I haven’t had any good experiences with their Powell location. Thank you Gresham store for always making me feel welcome! Shannon Sprague

Awesome staff, great prices, super clean store!

I got a $100 loan on an iPad 7, a 2nd gen Apple Pencil, and an expensive folio case. When I put the items in, I was told I had 30 days after the date on the ticket to pay, I couldn’t get it out when it came due and renewed it, I came in today to pick it up when the renewal became “due” and was told all my items were gone and sold because I missed the ticket date by 30 days. Confused and frustrated I asked what about the 30 day grace period you told me I had?! And the man helping me rudely informed me that there was no 30 day grace period, I told him but no one had told me that, and any other pawn shop stamps the tickets “no 30 day grace” if there isn’t one on my ticket, to which he replied they didn’t have to tell me or put it on the ticket. This was the worst customer service and company policy I have ever heard of, I feel completely scammed I didn’t even have a chance to retrieve my items and the iPad had photos of a loved one who passed away that now I can never get back because of this. You need to do better by your customers and teach your employees some customer service skills. I will never work with your company again or make another purchase from your company again.

Was helped by Jasmine this time in the store and not only was she VERY helpful she was polite, funny and quite cute. She had a smile on her face for the whole transaction. The rest of the staff were all quite nice and helpful as well. I would highly recommend going to the 185th and Stark location!

The best pawn shop in Portland! The ladies working in this shop are experts in their profession, and do their best to hook you up! The only shop I'll ever go to!

Showed up and was told they where not open until one and I said okay and went to ask if they would take something so I knew if I could bring it in or not and they said idk Fing come back at one when we are fing open. Like dude I was asking a question that doesn’t hurt anyone and he’s swearing at me and being rude.

I was totally interested in a guitar 4x12 cab. I asked about their policy concerning returns. In order to get cash back you have to pay a fee upfront. I asked if I could open up the cab to make sure that the speakers are correct for that make of cab... a perfectly reasonable request. I was told that they don't have the tools to be able to open it for me? Thats a lie... it's a pawn shop and they have every tool known to humanity, and worse, it means they don't verify the speakers are original when someone brings them guitar cabs to hock. Sure, speakers might "work" but that doesn't mean it's the right make. The fact I have to pay cash for some sort of insurance when they are selling a product they've never verified as authentic is unethical. What else is not worth bothering to do?

I love going to USA pawn. There’s always a good deal going on. I’ve bought most all of my camera equipment from this company I deal with a lot of their locations. This one in Gresham is the best. The associates are the greatest helpful and always about the customer service. Thank you for always going above to help us.
