I have been a United Texas Credit Union member for 48 years and I have consistently received the best customer service. Robert Watkins & Gordon Chin assisted me with a new car loan and they both made the loan process extremely easy. I received a call from Robert promptly after I submitted my application online. Gordon gave me excellent advice and they both helped me throughout the process. They were very attentive to my needs and provided best in class service.

It was a pleasure to work with Mr Gordon Chin in purchasing our new vehicle. While it was not possible to directly finance the purchase through United Texas CU due to constraints imposed by the dealer in order to secure an intransit vehicle, Mr. Chin made the process of refinancing the vehicle very easy. He went out of his way to accommodate us and answered all of our questions. He led us though all of the forms and we were able to complete them online. We are definitely very pleased and would return to Mr Chin for financing any vehicle purchase. Mr Chin deserves the highest rating possible and we would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to finance or refinance their vehicle purchase.

Gordon Chin was extremely helpful in getting me my auto loan over the Easter weekend! He was also extremely patient with the technology issues I was having, having to go from iPhone to laptop to desktop in order to get the documents signed. I appreciate his patience and persistence.

I have never had a process go smoother for financing ( and we have had some terrible experiences). I emailed some questions about auto loans, received a prompt response. We had Gordon chin help us with our auto loan and I would do it over again with TXCU if I needed to. I was never on hold and never given five different answers to the same question. We needed a car quickly and it was done quickly and efficient, along with very decent terms/rate. They seem to know what they’re doing!

I've been a member for over 20 years and I have to say this company is like family. Before the Redland Branch closed, I was greet by name and would would converse about family and life. I worked with Gordon Chin and Robert Watkins to get a new auto loan and a credit card. They were both very easy to work with. Very knowledgeable about credit and car financing. The process was extremely easy and quick. I got a great rate on both my auto and card loan. I will definitely be recommending this credit union to my family and friends.

Gordon and Robert were extremely helpful, reliable, honest and communicated well with me so there was no confusion. They even took the extra steps to call me (not just an e-mail) after all was completed to ensure I was happy with the process and congratulate me on my purchase. During the process, they took the guess work out of the valuing each vehicle I looked at and even set us up on some gap coverage at a better rate than other places I looked. To be honest, this is the 4th or 5th car I have purchased from Gordon (and I should have left a review a lot sooner). Mind you, I have never met Gordon in person but... It feels good that when I call up to Gordon and say who I am, he remembers and wants to catch up like old friends. All that to say, this is the first (and has been the last) place I look when I need financing while shopping for a vehicle.

The MOST awesome credit union in San Antonio!!!! Customer service is beyond 5 stars!!! Used this 30+ year financial institution for my auto loan.....be sure and ask for Gordon Chin! He was the most knowledgeable employee about my finance options, how to negotiate with the car dealership and did everything in his power to get the lowest interest rate for me. Every employee I dealt with had EXCELLENT customer service skills. All calls and emails were answered in a timely manner!!!!

Mr. Gordon was quick on the phone and highly knowledgeable. He did not rush to get me off the phone; he took his time making sure I fully understood the terms and differences between my loan options.

First rate service on my auto loan. This was quickly processed with info to me and the dealer. David Contreras was extremely professional and friendly. Always a pleasure to do business with this credit union. On a side note, it is extremely nice to see what used to be the old USAA credit union is still the same professional and first rate operation it used to be!

Have checking and saving accounts here plus my truck financed and "had" a Mastercard as well. Never missed as payment, decent credit score also. Called one morning last year to inquire about the rates if I traded my truck in. Was told they would not do it, and then they turned off my Mastercard. No explanation given. I would never recommend this intuition to someone for a quality banking facility. I've slowly migrated most of my accounts to Security Service and would recommend SSFCU to others.

Gordon was very knowledgeable and prompt in getting my auto loan processed. Robert helped as well with the warranty paperwork. This is my third auto loan here and would rhighly ecommend them.

I've financed 2 vehicles with them. In both cases they've offered the lowest rates around. My first was a refinance, the second was a new purchase. They made it quick and easy. I had 1 point of contact through the whole purchase and finance process. Gordon was a great help and gave valuable advice for negotiating the lowest possible purchase price on my new vehicle.
