My vehicle was way overdue for a state inspection. I called Gunn Honda and spoke with Joe who encouraged me to come in for the service, even recommending their Express Lane. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chad Ward who wrote the ticket and assured me the inspection would be done quickly. Gunn Honda has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating convenience and amenities for their patrons. The facility is always orderly and grounds are well kept. Shortly after a visit with another Gunn customer, my car was ready just like Chad promised. I have been to most dealerships in metro San Antonio as a vehicle brand owner and customer of their service departments. My visit to Gunn Honda was a truly pleasant and efficient experience. Their impressive collection of President's Award banners lining the service bay is a good indication that superior, competent service with a smile is in store. I will return to and highly recommend Gunn Honda as your choice for Honda service.

I had an appointment at 8:15am last Friday and I can truthfully say , Gunn Honda has the absolute best customer service out of any other car dealership that I have been too, and that’s a lot, as I am an Air Force veteran and lived all over the world. They get you in and out and keep you informed the entire time your car is being serviced. I can’t say it enough, experience Gunn for yourself, they are the best. They have a shuttle they offer rides to their customers, not to mention extremely low prices compared to competitors for their services.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had buying a vehicle. Craig from the get go was on it, and the sales team and finance person Patrick got the deal done in no time. I also want to thank the other sales person that worked with Craig to help us. First time at this location and took about 3 hours to get a routine oil change and transmission fluid. It was a bit long, but a really nice maintenance guy offered me a lounge chair from his shop to make the waiting worth it. My maintenance man, John, was really great and I asked him about getting an appraisal since I’m looking to buy a new car sooner rather than later. He handed me over to a friendly gentleman, Dason Moore, who was polite and helped me get some more info about cars available. The appraisal part took another hour which I was expecting only like 20-30 minutes. Still an overall good experience!

Quick and easy servicing of my vehicle. Technicians kept it on-track and had my car I'm and out within a reasonable amount of time (they estimated 1 hour but after a few recommendations of fluid changes that jumped) and I still had my car back quickly. We had an amazing purchase experience at Gunn Honda. James Gamez contacted me earlier and then we went to the dealership to check the Honda Pilot Black Edition. We fell in love with the Pilot. James explained everything to us regarding the purchase and financing process. We purchased the Pilot and then James patiently explained all the features and technology of the Pilot. Was very impressed with Gunn. Scheduling online was simple and easy. Prices were posted clearly and consistent with the quotes from the writer assigned to my service. I went to the other, closer Honda’s website first and it was a nightmare to use on a mobile device (like a normal UX these days). Arrived, super friendly. Left to get food and they called. They found a couple of things that were red flags. There was zero pressure to address them then, but the pricing was great and the car was already there. In total it was 2 hours to get tires rotated, alignment done, transmission and brake fluid swapped. Toni was the writer helping me out. Super friendly, texted promptly, and coached the next maintenance set so I know what to expect for my budget and timing. If I wasn’t moving away, I’d go back for the life of the car.

I went here to have basic service done but the tech identified some serious problems that needed fixing. At first I thought I was being taking advantage of, but after getting my car back that was not the case. The tech did great work, and the salesman was honest the entire way. Funnily enough I'm from out of town and was "stuck" in town for the day (just went to a nearby bar and drank beer, don't tell my wife) and the salesman offered to give me his lunch! Now as a working man I would never take another working man's lunch but that was just another notch in the right belt to me! The work and advice was great, will definitely comeback

I drove up to Gunn Honda’s service center without an appointment to get my car’s annual inspection. It took about 35 min and they didn’t charge me anything extra besides the state fee to get it done. Da-Shun was great and he came to me in-person to give me updates or ask questions about my car. He didn’t try to pressure me to saying yes to their recommendations.

horrible experience with our salesman and buying process. practically forced to get their tint and blue steel protection with them “increasing trade in value” so that way we can get it. no free oil changes for new vehicle purchase which was odd since multiple places offer that, at least the first oil change. will not be returning to Gunn

I went in for an oil change. Pretty basic. But they were sloppy in doing the job. The express service technicians under-inflated all of my tires (30psi), which made my TPMS alert come on within 3 minutes of leaving the dealership. Also, they didn't reset the engine oil life indicator, so I did it myself. I've been here before, since it's the closest dealership to where I live, and they were fine before. Not sure what happened this time.

Service was also completed earlier than expected which was nice, and waiting room is great. There's free drinks, vending machines for more, a sitting area, a kids play area, and an area to charge computer and do work.

We met with Mr. Freeman Sparks. I was treated with courtesy and respect. He never tried to upsell me something I don’t need. The same with Mr. Ramirez in the financing. What made the experience remarkable was the fact that Mr. Sparks provided lunch to my pregnant daughter who was riding along with me. That’s the nicest thing I’ve experienced in a long time. He was not asked to do it but it showed the gentleman that he is. I just relocated here and he helped me thru the process without wasting my time. Lastly, they delivered the truck to me. This has been the fastest and most stress free experience I have ever had with an auto purchase. Every one was all about getting me what I wanted without pressure. They got me my dream truck with no hassle. Everything was done within an hour and a half. Dason and Chris were top notch and if I ever decide to buy again it will be through Gunn.

Everyone was incredibly nice, but the 2 hr wait promised turned into like 5 hrs!!!! For a B-1 service!! Customer satisfaction is obviously not a priority as I overheard more people with similar complaints. There seems to be a lot of confusion with several service advisers but no cohesive plan to keep people moving. I’m visiting from NC and got into the “express lane” which was a joke; not happy!

When you take your car for service, they will send you a text message saying you can text back with any questions and there’s also a phone number You can call. I dropped my car off at 10am for an oil change snd tire rotation and was told the wait would be about 2.5 to 3 hours. I went to the waiting room. It wasn’t until after 12:30 i was called and told i needed new front brakes snd there were 2-3 more issues. I agreed to brakes and some gasket that was leaking. After a couple hours i texted twice fir a follow up and never got a response. So i called the number and the girl who answered doesn’t have any information either, she would gave to transfer you to the service person who took your car in.i finally got my car another 3.5 hours. So i spent about 6.5 hours total waiting and soent $700 on basic repairs. The next day, i drove out of town for a graduation. While out of town the tire light came on so i worried that something was wrong with one of my tires. Since it Was memorial day weekend a lot of places were closed like costco and discount tire. I finally found a place to check my tires and they were so helpful. They checked all my tires and they found that each were over inflated to various amounts 35, 36, 37. So they brought them down to 33. So after all this hassle, i doubt i will take my car back here. Not only have their prices skyrocketed, i don’t think i trust them to do a good job, or at least follow up properly while waiting or estimating and giving wait times.

I had to take my 2018 Honda CRV in because we kept having battery drainage issues. Rosa was our assigned representative . She kept in touch and after finally diagnosing the problem that the rear view mirror on our vehicle was installed incorrectly and was draining the battery. They made the necessary repairs and suggested I contact the Honda dealer that we purchased the vehicle from to see if they would cover the repairs. I really didn't think this was possible but Rosa sent them all of the service reports and surprisingly our dealer reimburse d us the full amount of the repairs. Without Rosa going the ex tra mile for us this would not have been possible. I highly recommend them.

The service is was good overall but it took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation, even with an appointment. I understand Saturday’s are busy, and I could have dropped it off instead of waiting, but what’s the point of an appointment if you still have to wait so long? Either they overbook or they follow a first come first serve approach, so what’s the point of scheduling appointments? I’ve decided to upgrade their Service from 3 to 5 stars as I’ve recently given them another try. I was helped by Rosa who was very helpful and cordial. I scheduled an appointment and hoped to use their shuttle service but I guess the driver had already left. Rose tried to get a hold of him with no success but I appreciate her efforts. She provided great info after I went to pick up my car. They kept to the 2 hour window which is fine unless you plan to wait there. Overall good service and some great people working there.

Brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Have been coming to Gunn for oil changes for more than 3 years. I’ve never had an issue with Gunn...until today. When I drove into the service department, there were several representatives in the office area. I had a hard time getting someone’s attention. Someone finally motioned to me that someone would be with me shortly. After continuing to wait, someone finally came to help me. The rep that I spoke with told me that the oil changes I’ve always paid for were a special they were offering for a year. They were more expensive. I told him I had been paying the same amount for years and now they were wanting me to charge $30 more for the same oil change. I called another Honda dealership and they quoted me what I have always paid for years for the same service I’ve always gotten at Gunn. When I asked for my vehicle back, they brought it to me, and the manager told me that the oil change was already done and they would have to put the old oil back in my vehicle. After the manager left, the rep who was helping me told me he was already trying to give me the old price I’ve always paid. I’m so disappointed in Gunn. The manager’s explanation for trying to charge me $30 more was that the other dealerships don’t have the business that Gunn does. They need the business. I can’t believe I got that response! I can’t believe Gunn pulled this stunt! Will definitely be going elsewhere for service and vehicles. Again, what a disappointment. Shame on you, Gunn, and on your managers and reps for treating customers that way. Customers beware!

I’m here for my second service visit to have my air conditioning checked. The service rep told me it will be “a few hours” even though I had an appointment. My first visit took 3+ hours. They’re very friendly and professional, but it really seems they could respect my time a bit more. I could take the shuttle home but then would pay $45 for an Uber to get back. The waiting area has a nice espresso machine. However, there’s a phone charging station on the table shaped like a car battery with multiple cable types, all of which are for phones ten years old or more. I guess it’s for looks only. I think they could do better. As an update, I had to leave my car with them for the weekend to complete the air conditioning service (replacing the condensor). I was happy to learn that my extended warranty covered the repairs $1400+). The sales rep wasn't sure if my warranty covered a rental vehicle, and said it didn't really matter since they didn't have any loaners available anyway. I took the dealer shuttle home and then did my own research and learned that my extended warranty does indeed cover a rental vehicle. Of course by this time I'm 35 minutes away from the dealer, and need to find a car rental. Now that I have a rental car for the weekend, I'll have to figure out how to return the car to the rental facility (which is 45 minutes from the dealer) after picking up my car. I don't mean to be nit-pickly, but I think things would have been much simpler and easier for me if the rep had simply checked my warranty to see if a rental was covered, and then directed me toward a nearby car rental facility. Maybe that kind of customer service is a thing of the past )-: Just bumped my review down to 2 stars. Will likely choose a different dealer next time. I’m updating my review after another service visit. This is as a much better experience. Rosa, my service manager, took great care of me from start to finish, keeping me informed every step of the way. I was able to take a shuttle to La Cantera mall and picked up after one hour because my car was ready. Rosa thoroughly explained each item on the bill, and had me out of there in no time. Great customer service! Upgraded to five stars.

Joe listened to all my concerns about my car, well explained to me about the issues I was concerned, and kindly helped doing other maintenance checking requests outside of the service I selected for my appointment. I love this dealership, I will purchase all my vehicles from them in the future. I did my research on what car I wanted, went in and purchased it. The car was already 2K lower than any other one within 200 miles, then the finance department actually got me a better deal then I came in with from my bank. If you are looking for a vehicle, check with them first! And I didn't have to spend all day in the dealership, was in and out in 2 hours.

Went in for routine Maintenance Minder 1 oil change, fluid top off, and tire rotation with an appointment and it took an excessive amount of time. There was nothing wrong with my car at all, I watched others come and go. No updates were given to me, for whatever reason, until I asked for one and then I was told 20 more minutes which turned into another hour waiting. All in all I waited 4 hours for my maintenance to be completed. I’m disappointed in the lack of service and feedback. Usually they are pretty good about keeping customers informed from my experience but I now question whether or not I will be returning there for maintenance.

Our growing family needed a bigger vehicle. I was skeptical about reaching out online but the process was really simple. I was contacted by BILLY BECKA who answered all my questions, sent pictures, and was very professional and helpful. A few days later my family and I made the 4 hour drive, test drove the suv, ran financing, and were out in 2 hours! This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. My wife is all smiles in her vehicle.

Do yourself the favor of speaking to another gentleman besides Joe. This man is extremely condescending on the phone and highly rude. I've been going to Honda for YEARS. My father has purchased NUMEROUS vehicles from Honda and I've never been spoken down to on the phone like he spoke to me. I'll gladly drive the extra miles to go to a different location despite the fact I'm an extremely busy Healthcare provider with VERY limited time on my hands. I've never been told that Honda would charge me for a diagnostic test. Blown away that this guy gets away with having that type of demeanor on the phone.

Excellent service! My Team Rep got my car scheduled quickly based on phone discussion of the problem I was having. He was very thorough in going over the diagnosis, cost to repair, and answered all my questions. He also kept in contact throughout the service, and got me back on the road in no time!

Alexis, My service advisor, was quick to have my vehicle brought in and diagnosed. He informed me that the two OEM parts needed for the upper AC were on delayed ordering like most are experiencing. He tried to have two after market parts fix the AC issue but they did not fit. We waited nearly a month for both parts to come in, but when they did Alexis didn’t hesitate to get them installed and had the other issues amended. Alexis stayed in touch with me weekly to keep me updated. I appreciate Alexis and his service parts manager who helped get my Pilot back on the road at a discount.

I shopped at 3 other dealerships prior to Gunn Honda & by far they had the best customer service. I had a specific car in mind & my sales person Cam was very knowledgeable about their inventory & super helpful. He was very patient & didn’t make me feel rushed nor was he pushy in any way. I ended up purchasing a 2021 Honda CR-V & the financing part went so smoothly & didn’t take long at all thanks to Frank who was very efficient & helped me lock in a great APR. I got my Honda pilot in 2019. I bought it brand new from Gunn Honda. Overall my experience with Gunn has been very good. I've only had to bring my pilot in on an annual basis for routine maintenance, but they seem to get you in and out in a decent amount of time. They're low pressure on their sales, too. That makes it a lot less stressful than other experiences I've had with dealers.

This was an AMAZING experience!!! My fiancé and I drove down from Houston to buy his very first car. I personally have bought 3 vehicles in the past and I just hate how aggressive car salesman are on trying to make you buy just any vehicle. Before we arrived at Gunn Honda, i told my fiancé that we would politely say “no” to every salesman until we found one that we really liked. Finally, we ran in to Mike Lents. Worst decision I ever made was getting my Honda here. It started off bad when they sold me an AWD online, then when I arrived from Houston for pickup it was a 2WD. Charles made a discounted adjustment to my down payment that I appreciated so I moved on, but 2 days later the AC stopped working on a brand new car. I am still dealing with this issue, paying out of pocket for rentals as I live in Houston and am having to take it to a dealership I SHOULD have purchased this car at for work. Why on a brand new car am I having a leak in the hose behind the dash. Why wasn’t this car inspected before me and my 12 month old daughter had to sweat it out in the comfort of our car in the middle of September. Now, it is November and the car is still have issues and I am having to drop it off, get a rental again. A brand new car! The fact that the car had to be disassembled by anyone besides the factor def diminishes the value. I am so u satisfied and will be digging further into my options

Service was quick! Was there for just about an hour an a half. Gave me a 2 hour waiting time. A few days later I did wash my car and noticed driver side rear bumper had some damage on it. Like he was hit or scraped on something. Those marks were not there before when I took it in.

Normally Gunn Honda has pretty good service. This last time I took it in mainly for ac repairs, I added other minor issues I had with the vehicle. The minor issues were taken care of quickly. The ac issue took about a week and I still cant tell if it was actually fixed completely. I dont drive my vehicle that often and when I do drive the vehicle the ac doesnt seem to work that well. It was an expensive repair that I had a coupon for that they failed to redeem. The experience was not great and I hope I dont have to go back anytime soon.

I caught Gunn on a slow day and had an amazing experience from dropping off my car to receiving a temporary vehicle so they could hold my car overnight to make sure the detailing was done properly. I worked with Manny and was very pleased with my service. I would recommend trying to schedule service on a slow day. I have been when it gets busy and my experience has been not as good.

Sales guy was great but after checking with my bank and both of my credit unions we were clearly screwed on the interest rate that we received. This is three strikes for their finance department, seeing as they are selling everything at full price I can get the same deal elsewhere without taking it in the shorts by their finance guy. They are clearly just chasing profits and using the lender with the highest kickback. Also the finance guy was supposed to look into a previous warranty that I had purchased from the dealership and a week later he has not bothered to get back to me. Very unprofessional!

The people at Gunn honda were great! I really enjoy the “one simple price” concept because no one is pressuring you into an overpriced vehicle that has features you don’t need. Another dealer tried getting me into a higher priced model and offered several thousand less for my trade. Financing was easy, if not a little crowded. This is the 3rd vehicle I’ve bought from there and will continue to buy from them in the future

Slowest service department on the planet!!!! I made an appointment for a a seatbelt replacement (unlimited lifetime warranty item) I waited 5 hours to be told they didn’t have parts and I would have to come back. They could have told me that on the phone when I made the appointment. Came back the second time and it was 4 hours to replace a seatbelt. There are you tube videos showing it as a 6 minute job… I would have done it myself except that there are no aftermarket parts available for the seatbelt due to the factory lifetime warranty… Next time I’ll go to pick and pull and find one and replace it myself. RIDICULOUS!!!!

The last two times I needed my Civic serviced, Gunn Honda, especially Robert, has been exceptional in their service for my car, especially my recent visit to get an oil change. When Robert told me of my car battery acting weird, it was replaced free of charge due to the 3 year warranty still applying. Their COVID safety measures were also exceptional as well. Service from them is far more reasonable than a third party maintenance shop.

I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with Gunn Honda. I called and made an appointment to get a flat tire looked at. After sitting for little over an hour they come out and tell me I have two tires with nails. And none of it could be repaired so had to have new tires. Why it took over an hour to tell me this when I had a scheduled appointment.....Then with every car I have ever owned I have been told that new tires should always be left and right either front or back but Left and Right. they put both tires on the left side of the car. I also was charged for an alignment. I had just done one few months prior with oil change. He said they recommend you do this after getting new tires, I have never ever had to do this before. Then I was informed that they capped off my fluids as well. LIE! I'm driving home and put on the windshield wipers and it was bone dry as it was when I arrived there. I am furious. I had a friend who left Gunn after bragging about them for years as well. What is going on???

Loved the experience! I was in and out in less than an hour. I had called ahead to get quotes on what my options were about trading in my lease early for an upgrade. “Z” helped me out with the whole process and Patrick was my finance guy. Paperwork took only about 20 minutes and my original quote ended up coming out less per month once I was in there. The experience was wonderful and I never felt pressured into something I didn’t want. I really dread car buying or walking into a dealership but Gunn changed my mind about the entire experience! Will definitely be coming back here for my next lease.

The One Simple Price is a double-edged sword. It’s nice to know that the sales people are not working on a standard commission structure but at the same time, the “no-haggling” goes both ways and they won’t budge even if you show them the valid reasons why they should, like minor hail damage. Sarah was very nice and helpful through our whole process. The only 2 issues, which were pretty significant, were 1)I was told specifically that the credit check would be a “soft” pull and it was in fact a credit-score impacting “hard” pull. So it would’ve been nice to know since I arrived at the dealer pre-approved with my own bank and ended up going with them anyway. So the credit check they did was unnecessary . And 2), I was NOT clearly informed that the extended warranty was being ADDED to the loan but rather what was emphasized was my monthly payment and not the extra $2k being added to my loan. I was actually under the impression that my bank was providing it. So instead of seeing around a $6k loan on my online banking days after my purchase, I see a loan for over $9k! I called the dealer and said I didn’t feel properly informed, although it technically was my signature on the docs. I was then told I had 30 days to remove it if I chose. I also inquired about the blue book value of vehicle i wanted to purchase. I was told that blue book is “all over the place” and that they don’t go by that. However, there was hung a giant poster which said “We(Gunn) will make a Blue-Book offer on your vehicle.” Are they still using that if it’s “all over the place”? So that seemed pretty inconsistent. Overall, considering I hadn’t been in a dealership in over 10 years, I was able to give GUNN HONDA 4 out of 5 stars.

I called ahead my visit and they were very friendly and helpful letting me know where to go when I arrive to get my car battery checked out. Once I got to Gunn Honda I meet with Adam who was super helpful informing me and walking me through if buy a new battery and the replacement process. He was cool and understand with my battery situation since it has dead on me a few times in a week. He also let me know that I need a alignment since it was off pretty bad so I appreciate his help deeply and recommend asking for Adam's help!

Having been to other Honda dealerships for service, I expected this service would be the same. Upon arrival, no one approached my vehicle to check me in. So, I went inside to check in for my appt. No one acknowledged me so I approached a gentlemen and he was able to point me in the right direction. Once I was with Rosa, my assigned Service Manager, everything went extremely well. She kept me informed of everything going on with my car service. She was also able to get me a loaner vehicle since my vehicle needed a little extra time. Great service overall.

Exceptional customer service from the parts department to the service department. I was treated like I really mattered in taking care of my issue. I needed a new key for my 2007 Ridgeline so I called first to see if they had one. When I arrived I went to the Parts department; the gentleman there took time to see that Service knew what I needed. The woman in Service took her time to ensure I received maximum support getting everything setup for my key. Thanks for a smooth and seamless experience!

The Service Writer was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. One of the recommendations from the mechanic was that my battery was low and I should check on the warranty or Gunn would be glad to put a new one in for $185.xx I had my battery checked two different places and both said my battery was fine. This is the 3rd time I have been told my battery was low and it wasn't.

The Buying process was fast and easy. Roy was excellent in assisting me when I went to purchase my vehicle back in May 2021. He was awesome for holding the vehicle for me over the weekend as I was driving In from Houston to buy it. Overall a great experience for a first time buyer; paperwork was clear- they answered all the questions and concerns I had. Now; the reason why I’m giving them a 3 star instead of a 5 is because about a week after I purchase my vehicle I refinanced through my credit union. I had bought gap insurance with Gunn initially and since I refinanced the car about a week after- the Gap was in Initially cancel & reimbursed back to the dealership. I submitted the paperwork they requested regarding the gap refund & have since then been trying to get my gap refund returned back to me. Every time I call the finance department no one seems to be around to answer the phone. I have left various voicemails & emails and every time they fail to reach back out to me. The situation is extremely upsetting and frustrating, it seems like I just keep getting a run around every time I try to get in contact with the finance department. I even had considered going to them for my next vehicle purchased but this whole experience trying to get this refund has left a sour taste. Best advice I could give is probably come in with your own finance & gap insurance. 😏

BUYER BEWARE. I ordered an inspection for a 2008 Honda Element. Before I received the report, salesman Anthony Velasquez tried to pressure me into buying, saying someone else is interested and I have to pay for the car to reserve it. "I can cancel later if I change my mind." Good thing I waited. The car has hail damage and leakage. Here is an excerpt: Under the hood, all fluids were full and in good condition. While checking under the vehicle I found evidence of a fluid leak but was unable to determine the source. The area should be cleaned off and source of leak verified. Area in question is seen leaking down front of the transmission, see photo. Also worth noting, the passenger cv axle area has evidence of a seep, again the area should be cleaned off and source of leak verified. ALWAYS HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED.

I've been to many many dealerships and bought a lot of cars over the years. But my latest interaction with Gunn Honda was absolutely the worst car shopping experience. The sales manager was extremely rude and insinuated that I was wasting his time, as I stood with my checkbook in hand. Their vehicle was $3500 over every other dealer in central and south Texas, when I pointed this out and asked if he would match comparable vehicles he told me to get out and go buy one of those other vehicles that he didn't need my sale. He was rude and condescending. I will not deal with them again. I understand the current market and shortage situation but there really is no need to treat anyone, much less a customer in such a disgraceful manner. I urge you to stay away from these price gougers.

Joe is awesome he always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of. My recent visit my phone battery was low I brought my charger wire but not the box and guess what? He said Here I have mine you can use now thats amazing customer service! It might of been small gesture but at that moment it was a big impact since i needed to have my phone charged for business purposes. I drive from Converse tx to this location because of the great customer service and because of Joe. He's really awesome!

Friendly service department. It takes about 2 and a half hrs for the oil change so bring snacks, work or something else to do in the meantime. They got you cover with coffee, iced tea, water and TV. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. There is a section where you can work or study.

Their “One Simple Price” is ABOVE MSRP. They have a $2,695 Markup on their new vehicles and won’t budge on it under the “no haggle” disguise. People are already struggling with rising costs of everything due to inflation so it seems unfair that dealerships are now doing this on their new vehicles. Was ready to buy today, but that markup puts me outside my budget. And of course the “owner” will respond to this review talking about market conditions as an attempt to justify what they did, but the fact is that market adjustments are pure profit for the dealership and have nothing to do with the actual Market for the vehicle. The dealership didn’t pay $2695 more to obtain the vehicle from the Manufacturer at Invoice price, but they sure do want to tack on an extra $2695 to you the consumer as profit for them. No thanks.

The worst service department! What is the point of making appointments when they are never honored. I arrive 30 mins prior to my appointment, waited 2.5 hours and my van sat inthe same line. When i asked for status update, the service member only stated "oh sorry longer than expected wait time due to the day." Recommend any other service company than Gunn Honda.

Post-repair: On the first drive back to my hometown on I-10 within an hour of driving there was suddenly a very loud sound emitting from underneath my vehicle. It sounded similar to opening the window slightly. I immediately pulled over to the next exit within 2-3 minutes and inspected my car. The plate front cover was hanging off and was scraping against the road which was causing the loud sound. Looks to me as though the mechanics at Gunn Honda didn't place this back on properly. I managed to hold it in place with zip ties for now until I talk to Gunn Honda. I also noticed the mechanics left some rubber covers out under my windshield wipers which do not belong there. They cover up some threading under the hood, they simply forgot to place them back on. After a month and a week, Gunn Honda failed to repair my vehicle. They must now take it back apart and examine where they failed. If you're coming in for warranty work, it's quite possible it will be placed on the bottom of the priority list as I've observed an entire day to two days will pass before they get to the next task on your vehicle. When they do get to the next task, it's possible they will only then order more parts further increasing the length of time before your vehicle is returned. Consequently, if you call to check on the progress, expect to get the same response, "It should be done next week," until who knows when. The process has been so absurdly slow, I'm convinced I would still not have any information or phone call regarding the progress or status of the vehicle after the first week if I didn't call in myself.

One star because there is no zero , my car has been there twice for service. This service department fails to have a real interest in solving anything that is an unusual problem. This cost me about 1500 dollar's after the first time I went there and it might cost me the same again after this recent visit. This service department culture has to be repaired.

The staff was very friendly but the price was a bit much. My car is a 2022 with 8700 miles and barely driven since last year, and I was there for an oil change and then they mentioned my air filter needed to be changed, so my bill went from $88 to $195 😳 for a car with less than 10K miles….I will be servicing my car elsewhere

We own a 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite, bought at this dealership, Gunn Honda. It currently has 77,000 miles on it, so we thought it would be time to change the timing belt (July 2021). If you look on line, it says that timing belts for this vehicle should be replaced between 60,000 and 100,000 miles, closer to 60,000 miles if the vehicle is used in hot climates. The Odyssey also has an "Interference" engine, which means that if the timing belt breaks, you will incur major damage to the engine (you may have to replace the entire engine). So, we thought it was time to replace the belt, as we certainly don't want to risk ruining the engine. It just so happened that we received a promotional flyer in the mail stating that for any repair over $780, we would receive an $80 promotional discount. We called first to find out what it would cost to have this service done (so that the price would not be increased by $80 before we told them we had a discount coupon). We were told it would cost $1,180 to have this service done, pretty steep in our opinion. Nevertheless, we made an appointment and took the vehicle to the dealership. As required, we presented them with the coupon when checking in with the car. When we picked it up, the first odd thing on the invoice was that it stated "customer request (sic) timing belt to be replaced early". That was strange, as 77,000 miles certainly did not seem early in hot Texas weather with the recommended replacement being between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. Second, the bill came to $1,180.92. We asked about our discount and service advisor Alexis Mendoza stated that it was applied. However, Alexis told us the bill was higher because their quote did not include $39.00 for shop supplies and $40.42 for taxes! Interestingly enough, that adds up to about the $80 discount coupon! We think Gunn Honda's practices of quoting prices are deceiving and wrong! When we call a dealership and ask what it costs to do a repair, we expect the invoice to be the price which was quoted. It would have been a different matter if, when we asked for a quote, we were told that: "The service comes to $1,180, but there will be additional charges for shop supplies and the quote also does not include taxes". None of that was ever mentioned. We feel cheated and deceived and will never take our vehicle back to Gunn Honda, nor will we ever buy a new vehicle at Gunn Honda again. We don't like dishonest deceiving people and we don't do business with them...

Tow truck left our car and the woman at the front desk said she did not want our info from the driver but she would look up our name and address and literally put a *fraudulent* name and address that now associates with our VIN. Seriously?

Excellent service as always. If you're looking for a brand that Gunn services, use them, best dealer in town. This was my fifth Gunn purchase or lease, and yet again I experienced no pressure, they found the Honda make/model/colors I wanted and had it on site in 2 days, and I paid less than expected. They pay their people salary, not commission, and it makes a huge difference.

I bought a used van there in 2019. This was my first experience buying a used vehicle and it will be my last at Gunn Honda. I was told the warranty on the van was for just 3 months. I asked the salesman what happens afterwards. He said with the van having over 100k miles it would either hold up or go down hill. Thinking I was buying from a reputable Honda dealer I had trust the van I was being sold was kept up and would last. Not only did I over pay for a high milaged vehicle it was never kept up by the previous owner, like never serviced! I had to bring it back to Gunn the first week to get re-detailed because it was so dirty. It has been a complete nightmare these past two years as I have poured money into the van with repairs and new parts. I have 4 kids, and unfortunately this summer the van broke down and we were stranded out in the heat until a friend was able to pick us up. This is not okay. I should have known better to put my trust into a company who is just trying to make quick money and not care about the life investment and relationships they could be making. The van has needed a new battery and alternator and is currently misfiring and has been in shop twice as another Honda deal is trying to find out what is wrong with it. We commute to work and we are currently left with one car. I am extremely unhappy with my purchase and the service I have received at Gunn Honda.

On our most recent purchase May 25th, 2021, the salesman Steven Galvan made our experience awesome. He provided multiple options and was very communicative and easy going. He even came in on a his day off to make sure everything went smooth and that we were able to drive off in our 2021 Ridgeline! Also, Gabe in financing was just as outstanding. I went in there looked around about a 1 minute or 2 looking for a salesman. I went to the front desk that individual was on their phone, they were helpful though in getting us a sale rep but the person we got was rude. Gave the impression that we were bothering them, after they got some information. I waited around for almost 5-10 minutes after that I decided to leave.

Update!!! I finally received a response and got my questions answered but only after I left a few reviews places. I am satisfied now that my question has been answered. I am just disappointed that my inquiry was not taken seriously until I left reviews. I love my new car and when the sales team does finally reach out to you after emails and leaving negative reviews, they give you all the info you could want or need. We had already known which vehicle we wanted to purchase and we decided to purchase through Gunn Honda because of their one simple price. We talked to the online salesman, Tim, and agreed upon a price for the vehicle. Once we were transferred to the financing manager, Michael, the financing process felt rushed. It appears there was a miscommunication between the sales price we had agreed upon with Tim and what Michael listed on our documents. Unfortunately since it was late and we were rushed through the financing process, we did not catch that the price had been changed. I initially emailed Tim about the issue to verify the price of the vehicle that we had originally agreed upon. We did not receive a copy of that document, however, I did sign it to verify that I agreed upon the price. Tim stated that he needed Michael to review the information. Tim later stated that Michael was informed of our inquiry and would review our documents and then call us. I never received a phone call. So I emailed Tim, Michael, and the General Manager, Mark and have yet to receive a response from any of them. I feel like I have been scammed. I guess after you buy the car, they no longer care because prior to buying the car, I received numerous emails from Gunn Honda.

I love that Gunn Honda has a one simple price!! The salesman Cam Galasso is honest, Knowledge and professional. I wouldn’t like it any other way. I had a small problem with finance pushing me on buying the extended warranty or the gap insurance. The alternator bracket on our 2002 Honda Odyssey finally broke after 16 years. We bought another one from Gunn Honda and installed it according to specification (correct torque and everything--very simple install), and it broke within a week. The part has a design flaw (large unnecessary hole that weakens it), which is well-documented on the internet. Anyway, my wife took the faulty part back to Gunn and they refused to refund our money or replace the part! For a faulty, thick, metal bracket that broke after a week! They claimed I must have installed it wrong--give me a break! They just didn't want to replace a part that they knew was likely to break again (because it's faulty). We had the same problem with a part we bought on Amazon, and they promptly refunded our money without a hassle. This is not the kind of service or quality I would expect from any dealership, much less a Honda dealership. Recommend you avoid Gunn Honda. Use Amazon or just about any other dealership (who would presumably stand behind what they sell).

Alternator went out in wife’s car. Joe Esparza and his team was able to get this repaired under warranty a day early, switched out a burnt light bulb and was able to identify the cause of a burnt smell from a leaking gasket. Great communication throughout and eased out worry about doing without our main vehicle during Christmas. Thanks Joe!

Brought my 2016 Pilot in for sevice twice in two weeks. First time prior to an out of town trip and the other after returning. Service Advisors (Chad and Alexis) did a great job getting my car in and serviced quickly. Wonderful communication by both on what needed to be done prior to the work and then detailed explanation on what they did after iy was completed. Great Job Gunn Service team!

I really liked how the staff took care of me from pricing of my trade in to the business office offer. I love my new car, 2021 Honda Accord. It is a huge upgrade from my previous car. Have been using Gunn Honda for past 15 years. Always find Service Department works hard to figure out exactly what my vehicle needs and does not try to “upsell” me on anything I don’t need. Waiting times are sometimes a bit long and unpredictable (my only complaint) but it’s worth it for the service.

I used the Gunn Honda Express Lane to get the oil changed in my daughter’s car. Dennis and his team were very helpful and got the vehicle taken care of quickly. They suggested other work that might need to be done on the car, but did not pressure me about these additional services. The waiting room was clean and pleasant. Stephen helped me out here. I drove from Austin to have the opportunity to purchase a car from them. They worked with me on trade in and finding the car I wanted. I was extremely happy with my experience here and would recommend purchasing from this dealership to anyone. I shopped around for a car for about two months and this dealership was by far the best option. I recently bought a used Honda and was unfamiliar with the fast lane process to have my oil changed. I was there at 7:00am and was third in line. The service man that helped me did not say good morning just asked what I was there for. When I told him that this was my first time there he seemed a bit put off because he had to obtain and write down more info on me. My car was finished within 45 mins but it was parked for 15 mins until my paperwork was finished and I was checked out. I asked 2 servicemen if I could check out and both never even looked up from what they were doing to acknowledge me just told me to wait someone would be with me. The cherry in the cake was that I finally was checked out and I drove off. I got on the highway and they had not closed my hood properly and it started to wave up and down, I had to pull over and close it correctly. This in my opinion was my worst experience and will continue to use the Easy Lube down the street at least I know I will have a much better experience and feel safer driving away!

Great experience for the second time being at Gunn Honda. Jacob Viera was very helpful and with communicating the whole process of our purchase of a new Pilot. All discounts were added upfront and no hassle. We tried going to our local dealership but they did not seem to care about what we want and ignored us with what we asked for. Jacob answered all of our questions and gave us the prices for several cars we asked about. Jacob had everything ready for us when we arrived from a 3-hour drive and explained everything about the car. He even scheduled us for tint that day and I was able to leave in a few hours. Overall experience, it was worth the 3-hour drive and less stressful purchase. Thank you!!!

Thank David Rosenberg for taking my call. I visited another dealership on Saturday and test drove the same 2021 Accord. I asked the salesman to send a purchase order on Monday and to my surprise found an extra $2500 added. So I declined. I called Gunn on the same Monday morning and David took my call and found the color 2021 Accord. No hastle and no surprises when I received the purchase order. He came through. I pulled up to the Service Reception only to find out I was in the wrong lane. 😅 I needed to go to the Express Service for a dead battery. A rep (Bobby P) drove my car to the right place, replaced my battery in about 30 minutes despite there being a line. I paid close $200 for a new battery and installation. For the service they had provided, I couldn't be happier. I love Gunn Honda!
