Umpqua Bank Mohawk Blvd, Springfield

It took almost a half hour just to cash a simple $12.50 check, written on one of their own bank accounts...I was the only one in line, yet it took almost 10 minutes to get to the window. Meanwhile, the guy at the next window was trying to pay something off, but they didn't have the right person there to take the payment...I won't be going there to bank anytime soon.

Worst service ever. Went in to open large savings account and they had an attitude as it was end of day. But they still had an hour. Wanted to schedule next week. Will never bank there now.

Came here to cash a check issued by Umpqua. I don’t have a bank account, so when I get checks I just go to whatever bank they were issued from- I’ve never been charged a fee, and I’ve been cashing checks like this for a long time. I was surprised when Umpqua charged me $6 to cash one of THEIR checks. When I expressed my surprise, the clerk assured me that “every bank” charges for checks if you don’t have an account. That’s not true, and I could’ve paid half the price to go down to Fred Meyer or literally any other check cashing place.

Lame AND smug, now how much would you pay? If you're hoping for a small friendly local bank, forget it. The worst, just the worst. Non-existent customer service, even simple transactions online are done at glacial speed, indifferent attitudes, etc. Bank elswhere. OCCU and Selco offer far better banking experiences.

Top notch! The bank manager was very helpful one day when I went in there. Nice lady! Easy access.

Have been with ump for 8 or 9 years now. Friendly staff except for down town Tacoma store. Have had their ATMs refuse to let me make cash deposits 3 times now. Once in Tacoma down town, once at 48th Street and once in Spokane.??? They bought up Sterling bank and there were branches everywhere for a time but then they closed a lot of them and their harder to find now. Their telephone banking used to be fairly prompt but now I wait 20 minutes for someone to pick up. I transfer cash to another ump member monthly and the only way to do it is in person. Somehow my savings acct got below their minimum and they just closed it. No call, no "hey, want to keep it open" just closed it. I think they just grew to fast, gave too much away, bought too much too soon and now they're shrinking back to maintain costs. They were the world's greatest bank for a little bit but, not now.

An Umpqua customer of over 20 years wrote me a check for helping him fix his deck. This Bank charged me 4% just to cash it... Avoid!

Banking as usual. Not sure what the lady in front of me was doing but three cars in each of the other two lines came and went before I got to speaker . Not sure that was bank though.

They have been so helpful to me and Jamie specifically has been the sweetest person ever. They are so willing to help through whatever issue you are having and I appreciate her and everyone else greatly.
