We were looking to do a cash out refinance and tried through our current lender (large bank). The process was awful. We didn’t know what was going on the majority of the time, we were asked to sign documents without being told what we were signing, and then all the sudden our mortgage broker stopped responding to phone calls and emails. Totally ghosted us. Then 2-3 months later came back with a horrible offer and tried to say it was better for us with no explanation as to why he left us in the dark. No thanks.
