Truist National Dr, Burtonsville

I have been a client of Suntrust for many years, as a regular customer went in for a simple transaction at this location. The teller was being very helpful and polite until the manager stopped her from helping me. This is the second time that Shauna the manager has been rude to me. Ive never come across anyone who belittled me this way before over a simple transaction. What is going with customer service at this location?

My experiences here have been nothing short of underwhelming & infuriating. I cannot give this location even a star, but unfortunately it’s mandatory to publish this review. It’s impressive how a financial institution has managed to find the most incompetent bunch of people on the planet and put them in charge of a branch. On several occasions , I have gone to the teller line only to receive cold, dismissive, rude & slow service . The latin teller with short hair and glasses has no concept of professionalism or courtesy. The front desk employee never has any idea what he’s doing or how to respond to simple inquiries . He will tell you to go to another branch or schedule an appointment with the branch manager. Clearly, the only time this branch functions is when the branch manager is present , (the elderly obese woman they call their “supervisor” is utterly useless) & it is absolutely unacceptable.

I have never gotten things solved anytime I came to SunTrust including after they merged with BB&T

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN FROM A BANK FOR MONTHS THIS BRANCH HAS BEEN GOING DOWNHILL AND THE BRANCH MANAGER HAS NO RESPECT FOR HIS CUSTOMERS!!!!!!

I opened an account and drop of my documentation to this local branch. After a few weeks, I tried to register my account online and found out that my account was closed because this branch did not submit my paper works on time. I was told to call a number to reactivate my account and then was told to visit this local branch to reopen an account. They mess up the first time, why should I do business with this local branch. No wonder they have poor rating.

I am very impressed by the professionalism of the Branch Manager, Tyrone Hopkins,Jr. He was extremely courteous and made me feel at home. I was amazed by his efficiency and ability to please customers. Because of this young man, I , definitely, would choose this SunTrust Branch for future business. Thank You, Tyrone Hopkins.

Seems as though there is only one teller working, all day. Wait times terrible. Customer service down the drain... might as well close this branch. Terrible management.
