Sandy Spring Bank Spencerville Rd, Burtonsville

I opened an account in the beginning of the year and still have yet to receive my bank card. Then I receive horrible customer service and holds on my funds that are legit and cleared. I feel like I am racially profiled because every time I cash a large amount of money I am questioned, have a long wait and not served as fast and friendly as other customers when I come. I only opened an account here because my lawyer banks with them. I will stay with my other banking institutions and will close this account immediately after today. They lost a great customer

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BRANCH... The customer service at this Sandy Spring is exceptional, the employees are very knowledgeable, they definitely want the best for their customers. This is one of the most genuine banks to keep your money. I go out of my way to visit this branch....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I love the Burtonsville sandy spring bank. I don’t know where to start. The customer service at this location is a top notch. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. I love all the tellers.

Someone had a field day with my account and I incurred overdraft fees etc and someone was supposed to call me yesterday after I stopped in to help do something about the fees but I have not heard a single thing and more overdraft fees keep popping up... I might just take my business elsewhere

I read all the reviews and I have to believe that the people who wrote negative reviews are talking about a different bank. Sandy Spring Bank financed the construction loan for my house in 1986 and the purchase of six vacation condos in the early 2000's. I was a government employee with a Credit Union in my office so I did not consider Sandy Spring for checking or savings. When I retired in 2014, I went with Suntrust (now Truist) for checking and savings because they had an office in the neighborhood Safeway. The branch I had been using closed during COVID and the nearest branch simply did not perform to my satisfaction. There were frequently long waits for service and their mobile banking was just terrible. I have only recently become a Sandy Spring Bank customer at the Burtonsville branch. There is a night and day difference. There is a "what can I do your you" attitude with everyone I have met there. If a teller is not immediately ready to handle my deposit, I get an apology for the slightest wait. I am contacted frequently to make sure I am satisfied with everything. And most important to me, their mobile banking app works like a charm. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

Awesome Customer Service, staff is friendly and helpful. I was there to open an account for my son and the services we received were utmost to my satisfaction. I am defiantly going to recommend this bank to my family and friends. I wish we can have more branches in Laurel or Columbia area.

Its taking forever to receive my pin code for my debit card. I got the card about a month ago and i put in a request about two weeks ago to get another one sent and i still have not received it. I don't have time to get to the bank because they close before i get off work so i cant go in and do it myself, but its crazy thats its taking this long. i literally have to carry cash everywhere because i cant deposit money into my account.

I love Sandy Spring and would recommend it to a friend and family.. It is a very good place to bank, when someone got access to my account and use my bank SSB investigated and returned the funds to my account in no time at all.

The service and the people especially Ms. Angela are very professional and nice. I’m glad to have this Bank. I love it.
