Staff was extra helpful. I'm a new immigrant and they took time helping me thru the steps of making a new account and even explaining the best ways to boost my credit score.

I had the most wonderful experience at this branch. I was trying to retrieve copies of two cahier's checks that I issued to a third party. After speaking with representatives on the phone, at a different branch and even at this branch, my request seemed baffling. However, one day I tried my luck and thanks to Roxana, I was able to obtain a copy of my checks. She was knowledgeable and diligent and within a few days, she was calling me to let me know that she was able to get those copies and had put them to the side for me in case I come in when she wasn't there. Times are challening during this Covid season and the smallest random act of kindness could change be a game changer to someone's life. I'm sure Roxana thought she was just doing her job but it was so much more for me. Thank you for being amazing Roxana!

On Friday June 17th at around 4pm I saw PNC employees at this in store branch LAUGHING at the disabled folks who work at the Giant collecting baskets and carts as I exited the store. This is inexcusable and a disgusting representation of the PNC name. These folks are just trying to earn a living and be productive members of society and shouldn't have to put up with ignorant and hurtful attitudes of their coworkers. Some sensitivity training is the very least management could do to correct this problem.

Small branch inside of giant food that is open most of the time and helpful if you need things addressed.

When I went to make a deposit of $1,200 in the ATM machine in Burtonsville, MD I received a "please wait" message. After about 3 to 4 minutes it gave me an error message, returned the card, and not the money. At the time I didn't freak out or anything. I figured no problem I will just get the money in the morning when they reconcile the machine. I worked in banking previously, and I know that ATM machines have to be balanced each day. When I called PNC headquarters they said that I would need to wait 10 days, and if their investigation found that I had really made the deposit I could have my money back. I called the branch, and they said that they couldn't give me my money back either, and that it could even take up to 45 days. While talking to the branch representative I learned that the machine was in fact broken on the day that it took my money, and that it had been having problems for a while. You can't tell much about a bank when things are going right. The true test is how are things handled when things go wrong. How is customer service when you have a problem, and how willing are they to resolve it expeditiously. That is the true test of what you are dealing with in a bank.

Would give it zero stars if I could, but I have to give it one just to post the message!! :) Customer service at this branch is an absolute zero. They have these "policies" that they can't show you in writing, such as cashing a check for a non customer who has sufficient ID. I asked to speak with a manager, I was told "no" by Luis, I asked if he could reach out to one, again, he told me "no"...all over $200!! He wouldn't give me a Regional number, didn't even ask me if I wanted to open an account at PNC to become a customer. I could have opened my own savings account. But after experiencing his disregard for not just me but others coming in as well, I'm not sure that PNC would be a good bank for me anyway, I'll stay at my current bank, where I am treated like a person. I can certainly appreciate policy and procedure, but show me this "rule" other than saying it's an "internal policy". Not the first time I've dealt with Luis. Granted, we are all entitled to a bad day on occasion, but his arrogance and pompousness certainly do not have a place in customer service.

This is my FAVORITE PNC! The manager and staff are knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. I and all my family members have personal and business accounts here. Easy parking, late hours, and open on Saturdays and Sundays!
