Truist Ne 8th St, Homestead

Probably THE worst bank I have ever dealt with. Constant waiting - no matter what day or what time you go, there will be a wait time. The ladies in this establishment don't really seem to care for anyone's time. By the looks of it, no one really cares since all these reviews and it is still happening. Do not waste your time, go somewhere else!

Came in to get my account unlocked instead of waiting an hour on the phone because something happened between the change over and my password was changed. I was told it was a suntrust issue and to wait. Only one person in there other than myself and I waited over 30 minutes without anyone saying anything to me but walking by me. Finally I left I’m done with this bank and it’s poor customer service.

Awful attitude from SunTrust counter staff secondary to my account being held with BBT. I was told to sit / wait for banker. Thank goodness for polite bbt banker once she was available. Its a blended bank people ! Not customers fault that the banks consolidated

I’ve had my checking account since the day this branch opened and I’ve never had a problem. Everybody is always nice and they try to help as much as they can. I have yet to want to change banks.

Inconsistent service. Change rules constantly. They're a bank. Not your friend. Only angle for them is how can they make money from you. That's it. I've experienced to many let downs.

I wouldn't give them 1 star, but that's the lowest , this bank is worst than before and slow like a turtle, specially this branch, they are slowwwwwwwww expect to be 30+ in the line

Customer service is fine inside when there's someone to help. But there's always issues. My newest, no option to withdraw money from the ATM on a Sunday. They won't waive fee if you're obligated to withdraw somewhere else. 800 CS told me to visit another SunTrust ATM which we all know is an hour drive to and from; and no guarantee that ATM is working. If you're looking to bank here, look elsewhere. There's plenty of large and small banks with multiple locations in homestead alone. SunTrust/BB&T/Truist, 3 mergers and as big as you are, 1 branch in homestead that takes 25 mins to drive to from within homestead is absurd! You're losing customers from the Redland and west Homestead areas.

THEIVES....YES I SAID THIEVES. I OPENED A BUSINESS ACCOUNT IN NOVEMBER OF THIS YEAR. I OPEND IT WITH A THOUSAND DOLLAR MONEY ORDER FROM MY PERSONAL CREDIT UNION. THEN I RETREIVED A TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR CASHIERS CHECK TO FUND MY BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY. MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND FOR CHECK FRAUD AND I DID NOT USE ANY FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE I HAD NOT RECEIVED MY DEBIT CARD. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO WEEKS AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE FRAUD DEPT AND NO INFORMATION IS BEING PROVIDED TO ME. PER MY CREDIT UNION THEY WERE NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE VALIDITY OF THEIR CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER THAT THEY GAVE ME. THIS BANK HAS UNFAIR PROCEDURES. STAY AWAY!!

I left Suntrust because of their terrible customer service. I requested bank statements and was charged $5 each. On the typical statement, copies of checks are included. Now they want to charge an additional $5 per check. I guess they are more concerned with nickel and diming customers than they are providing service. Do not under any circumstances use this bank or you will have problems.

Complete lack of customer service, stereotyped me and basically laughed at my request. I have been with suntrust for almost a decade and never been treated like this. I will now be driving 25minutes north to a different branch.
