If you need a loan personal or title go see SAVANNAH KITCHENS! She will help meet your needs and work with you! Great experience excellent customer service . Update 2/26/21 Yes Title max is great for a small short time loan but do NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES borrow more than you need they are vultures. What they dont tell you is if you have an issue the only way they are willing to help is to help you borrow more money on the top of the loan you already owe digging a deeper hole for you to try to dig yourself out of. They are very nice and professional until you cant pay your monthly payment. Their great customer service goes out the window then. They get disrespectful and mouthy. I’ve witnessed them disrespect and use condescending tones with several customers over the phone. Now Im being treated in that same manner. I got a loan from them which was loaded onto a card issued by them. Not even 5 days and minimum use my whole balance was wiped from the card to a 0 balance. All transactions were foreign I still had possession of the card no one knew the pin and the card had only been used at 2 places since issued. The card was activated by a TitleMax employee. I called the bank, the 2 places used, title max, and the police. Filed a police report and asked for assistance from title max such as a deferred payment since the card was just issued and had been compromised. Its amazing how they immediately turned on me. Immediately denied any liability Basically told me in so many words we dont care you still need to make your monthly payment. A police report and a significant event such as fraud warrants more than a “there’s nothing we can do” response. I was told to call back every week to speak to manager who was so conveniently unavailable or on vacation. It took almost 2 weeks to get her on the phone. When I was able to speak to her she stated there was nothing they could do. Finally got in touch with their district store manager whom also was no help. In the end the only thing they could do was give me a 10 day extension on money I borrowed from them and never got to utilize. So I had to come up with a payment plus the money that was taken off my card to make ends meet until the money was returned to the account. It took over 22 days for the bank to return the funds putting me in a further bind. So to keep possession of the vehicle I had to borrow on top of the loan just to give right back to them to make the monthly payment. NEVER EVEN GOT THE MONEY IN HAND THEY LOADED IT ONTO A CARD AND IMMEDIATELY SWIPED THE CARD TO RETRIEVE THE FUNDS. The monthly payments are very high. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. There are places that treat their customers better with better rates and payment options. Their only solution to anything is to coerce you into borrowing more then when you cant pay harass the hell out of you. They are nice until you have an issue. Oh and for every $100 you pay over your monthly payment it only lowers that payment by $10 so you will spend a lifetime trying to pay it back. I have dealt with them for over a year now paid off the first loan in full always paid and kept in contact until I had the issue. The minute I couldn’t pay due to being a victim of fraud they got unprofessional and disrespectful. I expected more from them considering how helpful they were when I walked in to get a loan and considering the fact that I had always paid mostly on time and in full for over a year. They have lost my business for sure after this one. It’s funny how I couldnt get a call from any one of them when my money was stolen right after I got it but they call on the due date and several times a day everyday afterwards looking for payment. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! The treated me very badly during that time when I just needed for them to show some compassion and defer that payment since I had just borrowed and it was now gone. I was going through a lot at that time. You never know what people are going through outside of their interactions with you.
