I used Texas Trust Home Loans to refinance my primary residence earlier this year. It was a great experience; they even sent the notary to my house to sign all the paperwork. The refinance process went so smoothly and the rates and fees were so competitive, that I used them again when I bought a house for my kids to live in while attending college. Tanner Holland was great to work with and was very responsive to my questions and requests. The online process was great; it was very easy to upload my information. Texas Trust will be my first call next time I need a mortgage.

We used Texas Trust to refinance our home. Almost the entire process was done online through their portal. Getting a quote was quick and painless and, at least at the time we searched, they had the best terms we could find. In addition, our agent Sal was very helpful and discussed the various options with us in a way that had our best interest in mind for our projected needs rather than their bottom line. The approval and underwriting process was also all done through the web portal and uploading all the necessary documents and using electronic signatures was very smooth. They reached out to us a few times for additional documents. Communication was quick - I had several questions for Sal along the way and he responded within the same business day each time. A mobile notary was sent to our home for the closing and the rest is history! They are a reliable, legitimate company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A pleasant overall experience. One I would highly recommend! Tanner, our loan officer is accommodating and made sure my concerns were properly addressed. Preferred communication is email, phone communication can be better. The loan process was straight forward, reliable and timely.

I had an overall great experience refinancing my mortgage with Texas Trust even with some hiccups along the way. The portal to upload documents was easy to use and everything was reviewed in a timely manner. I worked with Tanner for my loan and every question I had was answered immediately either via email or phone call. I went with Texas Trust because their rates were the best by far at the time. Tanner was great - I had to clarify a few changes with the closing department and title company at the end, but nothing monumental. The closing funds were sent off and accepted by my old bank the day we closed. I recommend Texas Trust if you're looking some of the absolute best rates, but don't need your hand held too much during the process.

Aliya was great to work with. Rate was great, a few delays on my end because of closing date changes, but Texas Trust was very flexible and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use Texas Trust Home Loans again.

Our agent (Sal Prasla) was absolutely phenomenal. He helped us through a very stressful and confusing time in which we were locking in our rate for new home while selling old home. The customer service he provided was beyond what someone would expect. Every response (email or phone) was always within the hour, and once he responded to our questions at 930pm. When documents were needed he advocated for us and contacted parties such as the title company. Texas trust also we’re the lowest quote for our rate along with extra money towards closing. Couldn’t suggest them enough.

I used them to refinance my home. They got me a great rate and low fees. The process was painless. Very few phone calls. Most paperwork was signed online. The rest was with a notary they sent to my house. I'd definitely use them again!

We refinance with them a year ago and had amazing help. We had to move to a different location decided to work with them to take loan for a new house. They worked hard to get us excellent interest rate, guided us in the way that we can close to the new house asa possible Very respectful and professional. Tanner was great helping me with the loan. As a first time home buyer I had many silly questions which he patiently addressed. He understood the urgency in getting the paperwork done on time when it was time to make an offer. He and his team worked overtime to review all bank documents to get me an underwriters letter in less than a day. Apart from one of lowest rates in the market they also have the a really good customer service. I have no second thoughts in recommending Tanner and Texas Trust Homes as a lender. Update: I refinanced with the same guy Tanner after an year. The rates I got was best I could find. Even after a month my friends cannot find a better rate. The experience was wonderful and smooth. Everything was done online and he even arranged for a notary to come to my house to get signatures on deed. I would highly recommend Texas Home Trust and Tanner Holland. Update: I keep going back to these guys. With the rates constantly falling I end up refinancing my loan. Texas Trust always has the best rates and consistently pleasant customer experience. It's a no hassle loan company.

My experience with Texas Trust was really simple and straightforward. They gave me the rate advertised. You deal with the usual "this business doing business as this business", in this case American Heritage Capital, but they are legitimate and handled my loan refinance flawlessly. They are online-only so you must have all your documentation together and be very comfortable with logging in and uploading the required documents. Computer literacy is a big help in making the process go smoothly. They send you an email any time they need more documents. Closing was handled by a mobile title company who came right to our door. I can honestly recommend Texas Trust. Be aware of the fee that will be charged if you decide not to go ahead with the process once you've locked in a rate. That seems to be a problem other reviewers have had. Aliyah helped me and was very responsive and friendly any time I had questions.

I completed my refinance with Texas Trust Home Loans and was very satisfied with there service. After locking the rates, rates went further down because the fed revised the rates. But the good thing was Texas Trust home loans were able to lower my locked interest rate as well by .125%. A happy customer. Would definitely recommend Sal for his outstanding customer service.

I got excellent service at Texas Trust! Took advantage of low mortgage rates to refinance my home. Texas Trust made very competitive rates available, and Sal Prasla was very helpful at telling me what to expect in the beginning of the process. One note I would have is that once the refinance process goes to closing, it was a little bit difficult to know what to expect from the title company that was chosen. I would absolutely recommend Texas Trust for a home loan.

I applied to refinance with two local mortgage company's and two on-line. I worked with Sal at Texas Trust how got me the best interest rates with credits, and even closed a week earlier than expected. Better.com would have been my second choice, and they even advised they could not match Texas Trust rates. The worst company was another with Texas in the name and they do Lending and have LOTS of commercials, but they obviously rely on quantity and not total customer satisfaction.

I had a great experience with our recent refinance with Texas Trust Home Loans. Sal, specifically was very organized and timely getting back to us with anything and everything needed during the process. Their site was easy to use and easy to upload documents. Closing was easy, and was able to be done in our home with a very friendly and professional mobile notary. Most importantly, I'd say, is that we got a very competitive rate, with very low lender costs, making the decision a no-brainer. We've referred 3 friends to Sal who have either already also closed, or will be doing so soon. Will continue recommending them to anyone else looking to refinance.

What an incredible loan refinance process. From start (App) and loan options to finish (loan underwriting and scheduling), this was one of the cleanest and most straightforward transactions I have ever been through. They had me close in less than 40 days, so I was quite happy with the entire experience. The loan docs had a portal, the loan services advisor was always available and my wife and I were quite happy with Sal's advice and help through it all. Most of all, we were able to qualify for the lowest rate possible and lowered our monthly payments with zero down.

The loan process was smooth. Loan officer was very helpful and informative. Being a first time home buyer I had plenty of questions and they were able to answer all of them. Only thing that i can think which can be better was status updates more frequently.

Overall, solid experience and I will come back in the future for my mortgage needs. Great rate, minimal fees, good customer service, timely responses, and a quick turnaround on my refi. Only downside, if you want to talk to your loan officer on the phone you have to schedule an appointment and likely won't get a time until the following day. That said, my loan officer, Tanner, was quick to reply to emails so it was not an issue.

Great experience overall! They were efficient and quick to get things done, even with the heightened refinance activity this year. I wouldn't expect to get in touch with your loan officer by phone though; you pretty much have to schedule a call time with them. That took some getting used to but if you plan ahead it works. All actual communication (phone or email) with my loan officer was very pleasant though. Very helpful, easy to work with. Again, overall, great experience! (and rates)

This has been by far the best loan/mortgage experience of my life. From start to end it took exactly 30 days: we closed 30 days after the day I applied online. Granted, it must have been easy with us: no cash-out, about 60% loan-to-asset ratio, two professionals. But still, everything was smooth and expedient. Sal Prasla responded to my emails almost immediately and straight to the point, everything was done online except for the closing which also was as painless as it gets. I am really impressed by the professionalism and the service, and highly recommend the company and Sal should you consider getting a mortgage.
