WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE EVER. Seriously, go anywhere else. I think if you need a bank to only hold your money and don’t need to interact with anyone, this is the bank for you. If you need basic service please just go anywhere else. I opened my business account here a year ago and from the very beginning things were bad. The person helping us open the account didn’t seem to know much about business accounts and seems all over the place. Later on we found out she made mistakes and had to go back in to have them fixed. We went to discuss account information later and found out she was no longer there. Not sure if she was fired or what happened. Every time we go in, the tellers are rude and not very helpful. I feel like I have to resolve things to their convenience for them to even consider helping me. When depositing checks, their hold time for the funds is sometimes 2 weeks when at other banks it is less time. Their app and website are a joke. When viewing transactions, there is a “view check” icon next to each check withdrawal. It is supposed to show you a picture of the check, but when I click it nothing works. When I call to get a check image because their website doesn’t work, they want to charge $5/ check image. Last time I called to make a request, the person helping me took the request and said I would receive an email with the information. I called a week later to follow up and the person who picked up says they don’t have any record of the request!!!! I can’t begin to express to you have frustrating this is! I am waiting to finish my checkbooks so I can close the account. Wells Fargo has provided a way better experience so far for my business account. I wanted a CU to be my main bank and get away from bigger banks, but my experience with this credit union has been difficult from the beginning and I can’t wait to get out. Running a small business is hard enough, and this bank has only added more stress to it all.

I would like to personally thank Miss Teresa for ALWAYS greeting me with a smile when I come to this bank. On this particular day I left my wallet on the counter, and she called my phone before I could even start my car, to let me know. And she is probably the only teller that doesn't shout to the whole bank how much money you are taking out😎 A true professional!

DO NOT COME HERE TO REFINANCE YOUR VEHICLE THEY ALWAYS DENY YOU I GOT DENIED FOR NOT HAVING THE MANUFACTURER PAPERWORK" THATS ATTACHED IN BACK WINDOW" AND THEY VALUED MY 2022 AT A CRAZEY RATE OF ONLY $25000 MY CAR IS $35000

Be careful with this bank and all of their branches or maybe it's the way their ethics are set up, every time I make an additional payment to my principal they will apply it to future payments, they have done this 5 times to my account and my account is only 8 months old. You need to be careful this has happened in different branches so it must be how their business is set up. Yes, I will take the time to write the same review on the branches I have used.

Texas Bay Bank is the worst! My husband and I have an account here and they are less than helpful. Customer Service: It's a joke! Customer Service reps tell us they have other calls to take and the problems we are having can't be solved, so they need to get off the phone. (If you want the full details go see my husbands review Brandon Secco.) The call center manager told my husband that this bank doesn't have insurance like the big corporate banks have...In other words, your money isn't insured like it would be at other larger banks... Probably shouldn't tell customers that... Customer Care: It's a joke! They don't care about customers here! They want your money to invest it, so they can make more. Don't use this bank they are money hungry and don't care about their customers. Staff: They are a joke too! The staff member who set up our account apparently didn't have us sign the correct forms for the overdraft service. Which in turn, caused it to get suspended. The customer service rep on the phone, said it was our fault... What a joke! Perks: They offer perks to their customer to attract people in there. Once your in, you don't qualify for anything. Usually for something missing like a window sticker in a car for refinancing (Nobody keeps that sticker the information that is on that sticker is also in the original finance paperwork.) DO NOT use this bank! You're better off keeping your money on a Netspend card, than this place! Netspend offers better services than this place! DO BETTER TEXAS BAY!!!!!

I've been banking with Texas Bay Credit Union since Jan/Feb when I first moved to Texas. Casey at the Summerwood branch got my account up and had my credit card application done and approved and in my hand on the same day. He and everybody there are so nice and make you feel valued and I will absolutely keep banking with them

I’m a long time member and Casey Cox did two car loans for me and made the process easy for getting my cars. Go see Casey for all your loan needs he’s great.

Casey Cox took the time to explain each detail of the procedure to request a Texas Bay Credit Card. He also explained the 12 months no interest if paid in full in 12 months, if I transfer balances from my other cards, of which I did. His professionalism is exceptional, thank you very much Casey.

I am currently a member of the TBCU and I must add how exceptional they are especially area breach representative I worked with Mary. She answered all my questions and made the process very clear and quick. I would recommend anyone to her and this institution.

Came here to open an account... Couldn't even do that! I waited in line for ten minutes, spoke to a person at the teller, then they told me to sit down. I finally got into someones office to open the account, then they told me I needed to wait in line at the teller to pay for my account to be open, Once I got up there they stated the card machine was broken.... DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER OPENING THE ACCOUNT!!!! What a waist of time! This bank is a joke! Go to a different one! They were also very rude and don't have enough staff to help you! After what I heard they put my son and daughter in law through, I don't even want to bank here! NEVER BANK HERE!!!!

Love this location, Teresa did an awesome job and went above and beyond to not only help me with what I came in for but gave me tips on how to help my credit and get better deals. Def recommend Teresa!
