The absolute worst customer service. One of their employees messed up my order for checks where I paid for faster shipping and they told me there is nothing they can do for me except pay an additional $30 for overnight shipping and another order of check. I shouldn’t have to do this if they got my order right the first time! Unacceptable customer service from Carlos.

Worst branch ever I sat and waited forever for someone to assist me and not one of the 3 employees sitting at there desk acknowledged me I ended up walking out seems td bank customer service is going down the drain these days

I really have no idea who rated this bank so low. It’s maybe not the best in the world, but the staff have always been pleasant, helpful, and professional. I’m sure there are areas for improvement, but I’ve always been satisfied with my experience every time.

To people leaving reviews, it is more than just extreme bad taste and unprofessional to include the complete name of a TD Bank's employee no matter what took place. In today's world you may actually jeopardize this employee's personal safety, and this is just common sense, not to mention attempting to destroy this employee's reputation and future job security at any banking location is wrong. I can fully understand how frustrated you were and wanted to make sure this employee did not get away with anything that added to the problems you experienced, however you do not need to go out for blood, literally, when submitting a public review. For my review, I like the bank and the staff who work there. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and very supportive. The problem I have is not with the branch, it is with Corporate policy regarding the Checking Account Overdraft Protection. If this is selected by you and your account goes negative, what TD Bank does is charge the account $35 for each overdraft , up to 5 in 1 day. That is a lot in itself however what TD Bank does is make it worse by trying to get as many overdraft charges they can out of the account in that one business day. TD does not document the charges chronologically by time, meaning documenting the time each debit hit the account. At the end of the day, TD documents the highest overdraft charge 1st, then the next highest overdraft charge, and so forth until the last overdraft charge is documented fore the day. So TD makes the checking account go into overdraft faster than it really did. You could have had 4 little charges, each for a pack of gum that were purchased early in the day with no overdraft taking place and then have only 1 charge that was much larger and pushed the account into overdraft. In reality you should only be charged for 1 overdraft which is $35. However what TD does is count the largest transaction that went into overdraft 1st and then the next largest and sop forth. So in this case all 5 charges for the day went into overdraft because the last charge completed was enough to put the account into overdraft even though it was the last charge you did for the day and the other 4 cleared with no issue. You now have 5 overdrafts with a total fine of $105. Here is the good news...After years of fighting TD Bank about this (and of course I always lost) I just received court documents in the email and there is a class action lawsuit with TD bank regarding this exact issue and this lawsuit has already been settled and payment terms to people who were affected by this false business practice of TD are to be compensated. Look it up so you can be fairly compensated.

They keep cutting back their hours, from 8pm to 7pm to 6pm to now 5pm. Used to be open on all the minor holidays, now closed for all of them. Really wouldn’t consider them “the world’s most convenient bank” anymore.
