Chase Bank Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell

Unfortunately went here for notary needs. They won't notarize true copies, won't stamp on the affidavits, and gave a free curt advice to find a public notary to get the documents notarized. All that my previous bank was able to help with.

Chase Bank has always been a positive experience for both personal and business banking. Compared with other banks, the online capabilities of chase.com are clearly better and more reliable. The West Caldwell branch hasn't had quite the turnover of personnel that other branches have had but despite this fact, the in-person experience is a bit inconsistent. At times, depending on who is working that day, the people are very helpful, especially certain individuals that I have gotten to know over the years. Other times it can be frustrating to get assistance. So, I would agree with some of the other comments posted. Overall, the people at the branch are pleasant and helpful, it just feels like the branch is heading to the eventual closure like so many other branches. Chase and all in-person banking will be a thing of the past within the next 10-15 years in my opinion. It is unfortunate and regrettable but likely inevitable.

Went in to get information about transfering my checking and savings accounts because my bank capital one just closed and the nearest one is in parsippany. Teller told me to have a seat and a banker would be with me. I walked past 3 guys talking in an office about going out to dinner. Sat there outside the office for 5 minutes. No one came over to ask how they could help. Instead they started calling restaurants for reservations. I walked out immediately. No need to be ignored like that. Poor management i would never want to do business with people like that.

ATM CLOSED. No 24 hour ATM. Have a better Idea Chase just keep your entire bank closed forever! Why? Because it's totally useless to some folks especially your customers.

Wow. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews. WELL.. Let me give mine.. I like how Michael kept not only me, but the other customers engaged in conversation while we waited for our said bank teller. Bank tellers are cool too. I love chase bank, and I'm certainly more than satisfied with this location. P.s. Micheal gets an extra 5 stars. Just BECAUSE.

Quality of banking is poor. Many mistakes and their system is always “down”. Updated my name and address in my accounts, which took 45 minutes, and I requested a new order of checks with my new information. Received only 1 of 2 packs of checks in the mail with the correct info on the package but the wrong name and old address on the checks. When I was having concerns about some potential fraudulent charges, I could not access my account online and called the branch for assistance. There was no sense of urgency or concern. The person told me that I should go to the Livingston Branch for assistance?!?! How unprofessional, I think it’s time to move my accounts to another bank.

Not sure how there are so many negative reviews here. The few times I’ve gone into this bank all employees have gone above and beyond with both their mannerism and level of service.

Customer service: whats that here. Can't help me to open the account because its 4:35 and bank close at 5:00. Not coming here ever.

Everyone at this branch is very helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure to go in there and getting accommodation from them.
