A friendly bank, but over the years it would appear that policies and proceedures from above are quite confusing, and the young people who work there do not have much training .I got my last mortgage here, and dealt with a young man who had never done a mortgage before, he didn’t seem to get much guidance...not confidence inspiring. They inactivate their health savings accounts If you don’t use them for several months, which is not very helpful when you go to the doctors office. I’ve had much better luck with Florence savings Bank, where at least when employees don’t know something, they know who to call.

Stupid policy! Tried to make a deposit for my boyfriend before auto withdrawal would make account negative. I was told I could not without his acct number as a privacy policy... which I was able to get but it had to be sent via text because he was at work and not able to make an actual call at that moment. So you are telling me that in order to have another person deposit money into your account you have to actually give out your acct number? And that is more secure for the customer???? I call bull!!!" At any other bank you can deposit into an account on behalf of another without an acct number. You just get back a third party receipt. No info is exchanged. I think TD bank likes the revenue for negative account fees and calls it customer privacy. Ridiculous! Account will be closed!

TD Bank doesn’t honor student accounts for anyone over the age of 25. Basically they don’t support higher education, or people trying to get an undergrad degree later in life (the latter group is more likely to come from a financially unstable background, so that’s honestly more important). Also, if you use a non TD Bank ATM, not only do you have to pay that bank’s withdrawal fee, but TD slaps you with an additional 3 dollar fee. So on average you are being charged 6 dollars per withdrawal if you aren’t near a TD Bank ATM. That might be somewhat sensible if it was BofA, but since TD is far from national and often sparse where it does exist, they are basically saying that they don’t promote traveling of any sort? Further, they charge you $14.00 a month IF AND ONLY IF your account drops below $100 at any point during the month. Like a punishment for being poor... If it were simply a monthly charge, I honestly wouldn’t question it, but that set up is just disgusting. So disappointed, adios idiots. Once I actually have money after getting my graduate degree, y’all won’t be seeing a cent of it lol.

Too many mistakes and lack of proper informative assistance, over years time. Finally going to leave after their last mess. Make sure you read everything every single thing, because they often do not communicate well verbally about things vital to the safe movement of your money!!

The TD Bank corporation is a major funder of fossil-fuel projects including pipelines to transport fossil-fuels, e.g., "Line 3" through which tar sands-derived petroleum will flow. In Minnesota, the construction of Line 3 is opposed by Native Americans who want to protect their land and water. Please consider avoiding TD Bank until they stop funding fossil-fuel projects.

I went in today to get a cashier check to purchase a new truck and the staff at this branch made it a ton of fun and made everything happen very quickly. Not to mention the young lady who assisted me gave me a pen to add to my collection! I’ll always remember her when I use it! :)

TD Bank is one of the worst funders of the fossil fuel industry, and is subsidizing the wrecking of our climate. Put your money somewhere else!
