We can't say enough good things about the Applied Mortgage team! We used them when we first bought a house in 2017, and came back to them again in 2022 to purchase a lot and apply for a construction loan. The process can be complicated, but Lindsay, Jessica, and Hayley were SO communicative and patient with us. They were proactive in telling us what to expect, and helped us navigate every hiccup along the way with reassuring confidence. First of all, thank you tons to Applied Mortgage!! If you were to ask me if I wanted to own a home 10 years ago, my answer would have been NO because of financial instability and other personal reasons. It was only about a year ago I have decided to want to purchase a home but was very apprehensive. I had no clue on where to begin, who should I talked to, etc. I initially started my pre-approval process with another lender who I did not feel comfortable with. I was recommended to Applied Mortgage by relatives who had the most successful outcome and I was advised I should contact Lindsay and the Team. As soon as I put in my application, I was promptly contacted by Lindsay and the process took its course. Ryan and Hayley then took charge and absolutely made me feel so confident during the loan progress. As a first time home buyer, I really didn't know the first thing about getting a home loan. My agent gave me really savvy advice about shopping locally and not with one of the big banks like Chase or BofA, and gave me a personal contact at Applied Mortgage. I spoke to Lindsay, and she really walked me through step-by-step, from the pre-approval, which allowed me to really start house hunting, to finally getting through the many complex steps of getting my loan approved. The team at Applied Mortgage were super personable, speedy and attentive with their responses, and were willing to do a bit of extra hand holding for my husband and I. Being a first time home owner is stressful-as-hell, and if it weren't for this team, I might have pulled all of my hair out, but they were reassuring, patient with our questions and gave us a lot of peace of mind.
