First-time home buyer, I initially applied for a mortgage through a local credit union but immediately sensed their lack of investment through slow replies and confusing requests. Went to Evan based on recommendation by family members and honestly do not believe I would own my current home were it not for his team: realtors know him, know the efficiency of his team, and this matters in the current ridiculously competitive market. As a first-time homebuyer, the first step I took was to reach out to lenders. I wasn’t actually ready to apply for a preapproval yet when I had my initial conversation with Evan, but he still took the time to chat about my situation and talk me through the process. He even put together a detailed prequalification presentation video which was really helpful to have before I decided to apply for the preapproval. One thing that really stood out to me about our interactions is that Evan is very education-driven and does a fantastic job explaining each step of the process while providing smart recommendations looking at your bigger financial picture. Since this was my first time going through a loan process, there were a few moments when I was anxious/confused, but then I just chatted with Evan and team and those concerns were immediately addressed and put to rest. The whole team responds amazingly fast to emails/calls and made everything simple for me to do and respond to on my side. I'm a real estate broker and wanted to make sure we had the best loan officer possible representing our family. Since I work with different lenders regularly I reached out to three different loan officers about loan products that would fit our needs and interest rates. Evan was the ONLY one who responded with the information I was requesting. The others didn't answer my questions and provided basic information I wasn't even asking for - when you're talking about money, having someone provide what you need is key in knowing they are actually listening to your needs and wants. Again, Evan was the only person who did this. In addition, the way in which he presented information was awesome! My husband wasn't able to be on our phone call due to travel, so Evan recorded a video for him to view where Evan explained all of the information, numbers, and options. This was something else that set Evan apart. As a buyer, getting this information in this format was awesome as you could review it several times to ensure you understood everything. Evan and his team were always available to answer any questions we did - from start to finish and also provided weekly updates. We closed on-time, and all of the settlement documents were ready ahead of time and without delay. I can't recommend Evan and his team enough!

Working with Evan was a fantastic experience. This was my third home purchase, and I would say that both of the previous experiences went well, but just not the same as this one. Evan was always so responsive to myself or my fiancée, and thorough with explanations of all possible scenarios in a clear and understandable way for every question we’ve had. He has presentations whipped up for us in no time and video calls with us and was always simply a pleasure to deal with. Amanda was great as well. In a world where one of my biggest struggles is simply to get a response from someone as part of their job, this was never an issue here.
