    Hands down the best customer service and mechanical diagnosis / repair of any car dealership I have ever been to in my years of owning cars. Matt took me in early, ahead of my appointment and treated me like family from the first second I walked in. He was honest and to the point about what legitimately needed to be repaired and what did not. His expertise as well as his team’s was exactly what I was looking for - just the facts with above and beyond customer service. I’m genuinely impressed and cannot stress more that if your Subaru is in need of repairs - this is the place to go. Thank you so much for the work!

    Very friendly place. Communication could be better. We left for a walk, got a call as expected to tell us what else they recommended beyond the oil change. He was surprised that we’d left (on foot). Was told they’d be done in about 30 minutes. We walked back and sat for about 20 minutes before the guy came out and said “oh how long have you been back?”. We assumed that they would come find us or call us to say the car was done. Evidently he thought we’d check in. I feel the responsibility is theirs to tell us what their process is. That’s the only fault. The people were polite, the car was done in an acceptable time, charges weren’t onerous.

    Have to give a Shout Out to the team at Subaru South Tampa, especially my salesperson Gabe, who made the purchase of my new vehicle seamless. I was going between two dealerships to make my purchase and in the end the team at Subaru South Tampa made the experience easy. No high-pressure sales and they worked the deal out to fit my terms, something you don’t often hear about car dealers. I have bought multiple vehicles in the last 15 years, and I have only recommended one dealership, until now. Subaru South Tampa is now the second dealership that I personally recommend.

    Great experience! Melissa was our sales guide. She was very knowledgeable and easy going. No pressure at all and fun to talk to. She did a great job. Shawn, the manager, came in and closed the deal. We enjoyed his humor and chatting with him and of course the deal. Being a Gator was also a big plus! Lisa handled the finance. Again, no pressure at all and was very helpful in deciding coverages to use. Everything ran very smoothly and we will definitely return for our next car!

    I'm out of state. Needed a 20k oil change. It was quite busy and was advised that it may take up to an hour. Fourty minutes later, got the call that the car is ready. The best part was when the service advisor came within a comprehensive checklist of items inspected. Impressive. They obviously care to go above and beyond, in writing. Highly recommend.

    I have been going to this Subaru dealership since 2003. I always have wonderful customer service and the service department is #1. The few big issues that my Forester has had over almost 20 years have been handled professionally and with the utmost care for me and my vehicle. I recommend this dealership and if I ever need another vehicle I will definitely be visiting Subaru South Tampa for my next Forester.

    Got my second car from it and it served me well for many years before an untimely accident. I took advantage of the free oil service for cars purchased from the dealer, the staff have always been polite and helpful. The place is kept clean, with complimentary water offered alongside a couple vending machines. Oil service is pretty fast now thanks to the xpress lane for routine maintenance/check-ups. Purchasing the car and performing the trade-in was relatively easy. Of course you will always have to negotiate and no matter where you go people will try to sell your their various plans/warranties/products, but I never really felt like I was being tricked, manipulated, or strong-armed. Overall a very pleasant place both for buying a car and getting it serviced.

    Had a great experience. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. Mike answered all my questions. Rachel showed me every aspect of the car…there are a lot of features. The Subaru Crosstrek is lower on insurance because of all the safety features. Like this car, and the service that comes with it, very much.

    These guys have kept my outback running well for years. I trust them to recommend what's truly needed and never feel pressured to get anything done that's not really necessary. Waiting area is nice, too. They have a spot I can set up my laptop to work while I wait. Also, the coffee machine with the disc things is awesome!

    Subaru South Tampa is where I bring my Forester. I first time I arrived, for an Express Oil Change, I had trouble finding where to park and enter the service area. It is a large dealership with cars everywhere-some new, some being serviced, and I just needed the signage to be more obvious. Other than that I must say I like this Subaru dealership. The waiting area is clean, the chairs are comfortable, there is a TV, and complementary snacks and coffee.

    Went in for an oil change on Thursday- turns out my motor was leaking. They didnt have the pieces so they thought it was going to be some time. They gave me a beautiful rental for the time being. Another shop had the pieces, and I only had the rental for the weekend. Luckily my car was under warranty and all I paid for was the original oil change and the gas for the rental. Honestly, Im really missing the rental. The employees are extremely kind, easy going, and always explain in detail. It's sad that not every dealership is like this but I'm sure happy that this one is :)

    I love this place, plain and simple. There is no better place to purchase a Subaru and have it maintained in the Tampa Bay area. My wife and I purchased a 2015 Subaru Impreza in September of that year (when it was still Mastro Motors), and since then we have had all of our service done on the vehicle at the dealership. When we brought it in today, the service department went out of its way to help us with a major repair...our A/C was having trouble and the worst possible outcome (complete overhaul including a new compressor, evaporator core, etc) was realized. Immediately they leapt into action, called Subaru and had the compressor replaced for free even though the car was past its warranty, and all we had to pay was for the evaporator and labor, saving us nearly $2,000 in the process. If you are looking for honest people who do top-notch work, look no further than Subaru South Tampa for your purchase and/or maintenance needs!

    Be careful not to be manipulated by any of these car salesman. I built a Subaru crosstrek online and spoke and worked with Joey and he tried to get me to pay $5k over MSRP price (after taxes and fees). He added a Zurich shield and I tried to say I didn’t want it but he said there was no way around it because they put it on all cars that get brought to their dealership, due to the potential “fallout” because they’re next to the airport. Lol that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. He got my price down after I spoke with him but still refused to take the Zurich shield off and I noticed the quote he gave me was also for a silver car on the lot that was already there and not the one I was trying to build. I went to another dealership that isn’t “close” to the airport and now I have my brand new Subaru crosstrek that I love very much. Love when men try to manipulate young women. Thanks!!

    Was greeted when I entered. This was the first service for my 2022 Outback. Concerns I expressed were written down and addressed and reviewed at checkout. One item was that the inside of the windshield had not been adequately cleaned when I received the car and some sticker residue was still on that couldn’t get off. They washed the cleaned the entire car including the floor mats which were filthy.

    Luis and Gabby were very helpful in getting me into what I had not realized is the car of my dreams. I wasn't shoved into a finance office and forgotten about for hours. I filled out my paperwork online. They gave me a very fair price for my 2011 Nissan Frontier although it needed work and got me approved at a reasonable rate for a 2017 Subaru Outback. I could not be more impressed. This was, by far, the best car purchasing experience I've ever had. I wish I weren't moving out of state this year because I would definitely buy from Mastro again!

    I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had at Subaru South Tampa. In 24 years of purchasing new vehicles, I could never describe the purchasing process as “enjoyable” until now. My salesman, Joey Mannone, was friendly and enthusiastic, and wasn’t pushy or obnoxious like salesmen at other dealerships often are. The deal came together in about 30 minutes, and was fair in every respect. Jane, the finance manager, worked hard to get me the best possible rates, and made what is usually the worst part of the buying experience pleasant. Looks like I’ll have some pleasant weeks ahead while I get acquainted with my new Forester. For anyone in the Tampa Bay area (or anywhere in Florida, really) who’s in the market for a new Subaru, I highly recommend that you finish your search there.

    We are from out of state and needed an oil change after traveling about 6k miles. They were closing and we would not if made it in time but we called ahead of time and they still took care of us and in such a timely manner.     I have used this dealership for service on 2 Subaru Imprezas I’ve owned in the past 10 years or so, and my wife has used them for her Outback for about the same amount of time. The name and ownership has changed in the past few years, as have some of the staff, but their service doesn’t seem to have changed. They have always gotten me in and out quickly with a pleasant attitude, and I’ve never had any problems with the quality of their service, but I’ve never had particularly significant repairs done. My wife had significant issues with her car, and they ended up doing some work that turned out to be unnecessary, but they gave her a break on some other work to help balance it out. Thus, I have no complaints and think they provide competent service. They also have a very comfortable waiting area.

    I was a tad bit hesitant on taking my car to a dealership, however this dealership was amazing. The staff was great, the service was extremely fast. Without having a clue what was wrong with my car they not only found the problem but fixed it all within 3 days. Let’s be honest the pricing was my biggest issue. But it was an extremely fair price for all the parts and the labor they put in within a very fast time frame. My car actually runs better than it has in years and my only regret was not taking it to them sooner.

    I haven’t been a Subaru owner very long but my experience at the Tampa service department was very different than San Francisco and El Paso. In both the other states, I was given a car wash as part of the service and neither of those were major services. This was my 12 month service and it just didn’t rise to the same level of service. The appointment was easy to schedule and they had me out in about 80 minutes but it just wasn’t above and beyond.

    I was nervous when I first heard that Mastro Subaru had been sold. We bought our new 2015 Subaru Forester there in January 2015. So far, the new ownership has been great, from our point of view.     I have never gotten such great service from a dealer before! Kyle was amazing and made sure I was taken care of, as well as show me exactly everything they did on my ‘15 sti. Cody also made it super easy to understand the break down of everything I was paying for, and I knew I wasn’t getting ripped off. (Which has happened to me at other dealers before). I will be coming back here from now on, because out of the 5 Subaru dealers I have brought my car too, this one is by far the best! I won’t be taking my Subaru anywhere else.

    For 9 months I have trusted Subaru of South Tampa with my Subarus’ and at this point, I have nothing but positive feedback. To be precise, the service team’s customer service is superb, they are quick to follow up with me to provide a status of my vehicle’s repair , they expedite the delivery of parts for my vehicle and place me in a rental without any issues (when warranted).     I had a really loving car buying experience here. Candy the salesperson who I fist contacted over the phone was incredibly nice, but most importantly honest and fair. I really recommend seeking her out if your are in the market for a Subaru. They also have a great selection of used vehicles. On the financial end the same can be said about my experience with Julio. He was a gentleman, he made things very clear, and did not try to push anything on me. It was a great experience, and that just doesn't happen often when purchasing a car. I drove from another county because of the car, but I would do it again for the service provided.

    Fantastic experience on a fantastic car (Outback Touring XT) at a very compelling price. From front-door to driving off the lot, my experience was very straightforward and high-integrity.     Great experience. Car acquired some issues while driving on the highway. Car was dropped off at the dealership for repairs by tow truck. The next day the service personnel was quick to text and provide various solutions to the problem. Service was quick and communication was awesome!

    The service department at Subaru South Tampa is not as customer service oriented as when it was owned by Mastro. On previous visits, associates went out of their way to be nice, helpful and courteous. On this visit, the associate was curt and acted like I was a bother to him. One of the reasons I have purchased my car from Mastro was their excellent customer service . Not sure I will purchase again.

    I drove 4 hours to buy my new WRX STI from this dealer over the other 19 I was negotiating with; including a Subaru dealership only 5 minutes from my house. That should say it all. I refused to pay a "market adjustment" on a STI and Mastro had the exact car I wanted on the lot. Seth was a pleasure to work with and it took a total of 15 minutes on the phone before I was sold and I drove over the next day to sign on the car. Showed up with a check in hand for a car that I did not even see a photo of, that is how confident I was with Seth. I have been around dealerships my whole life due to my father being in the profession, and this dealership is the real deal. No BS, no up selling salesman, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and no surprises. I was in and out in under a hour and a half. If you are buying a Subaru anywhere in the State of Florida, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

    Friendly and fast service department. I’ve never had trouble making an appointment, they do a through inspection but don’t upswell unnecessary repairs and their prices are fair. The waiting area is clean and chairs are well spaced to observe social distancing. Everyone wears masks and guests are required to wear them too. If you don’t feel comfortable inside they have benches outside for you to wait too. We’ve brought our Subaru here for every service it’s ever needed and they’ve always taken good care of our car. They also don’t leave a mess behind in the car which I appreciate.

    Larry was extremely helpful and accommodating. The maintenance work I needed took some time, so he offered me a loaner car for the day. It was convenient and made the process very seamless—no time wasted waiting around all day. I was still able to accomplish what I needed to do! Larry even threw in a car wash and vacuum, which I really appreciated since I’m a busy working mom. I highly recommend working with Larry at South Tampa Subaru!

    I have been a customer here for almost 16 years. I always liked the Sales Department but sometimes the Service Department was awful. I really want to say how much that has changed. When I had my car serviced last week I couldn't believe how different the experience was. The Service Department was amazingly helpful, responsive, professional and courteous. They were so great. They live up to the Subaru standard!

    Today I came in for both regular maintenance (oil change/tire rotation) and to have two recalls addressed (before you cringe about recalls- know that Suburu is definitely VERY conservative about recalls- if there’s even the slightest chance of issues- they recall the cars to be inspected.). I did make an appt this time because of the recall issues, which I knew would take a while. I really don’t think this could have been a better experience - ahead of time (when I made the appt), they told me to expect to be there between 2-3 hrs to cover everything. While the car was being worked on, Larry Walker (one of the service advisors) came out and updated me periodically to let me know progress and what they were working on next. It seems like a small thing, but it really does help to know rather than just sitting there wondering if I’ll be out on time or not! It ended up taking about 2 hours and that included getting my car vacuumed and washed after service! The waiting room is a pretty good size- variety of seating options, nicely air-conditioned, snacks and drinks available, free WiFi, etc. It’s easy and comfortable to get work done while you wait. I’ve had occasional issues with long wait times when I’ve randomly brought my car by for regular service, but the experience with the appt was absolutely flawless. Final note- I do wish every customer service person was like Larry- seriously- if you are management and reading this- he is fantastic! Keep him!

    Amazing service. I’m so grateful. Where to start? I LOVE my Subaru and in the 5 years I’ve owned mine, I have never had issues. So when I started having some minor maintenance concerns with my 2016 Forester - wheel indicator light was stuck on; some very occasional stuttering when slowly accelerating or coming to a stop - I decided to bring the old girl in to get her checked out. I called and they were able to set an appointment for me the very next day. When I showed up, they checked me in very quickly, making sure they noted all my concerns. They did a very thorough check while I sat in their lounge enjoying my complementary coffee and watching ESPN on their TV. When they finished, they brought me their assessment. They had a short list of concerns and let me know what was highest vs lowest priority. I was concerned about my finances, and they were incredibly understanding about this. I pointed out that the items I could afford and they said “Okay, if you get those services we’ll throw in [another service] on the house.” Keep in mind, this was offered to me AFTER I had already committed to buying a few select services. They did not need to do this. They just did out of kindness and courtesy. I was blown away. In an industry commonly accused of upselling and overcharging, these guys were just looking to provide heartfelt customer service. I will be going back to this location for any and all servicing from here forward. Thank you gentlemen, so very much.

    We had so many things we needed done to my wife’s Outback. Recall, lift gate sticking, door to gas tank not popping open and a host of other things consistent with a 2015 model. Mastro had great customer service and I managed to find a nice little office area to get some work done remote. After a couple hours Jacob said they needed to have some parts shipped in so he gave us a loaner (Ascent with only 4 miles on it ) to use for a couple of days.

    We have purchased numerous automobiles over the years, and we believe this was the best experience we've had in maybe the last 30. The salesman sat down with us and listened to us express our needs. He then made two suggestions, either the Forrester or the Outback. We test drove both. The Outback rides like a dream. They had exactly the car we were looking for, with the features we were looking for. There was no pressure at all. We negotiated the price with the salesman. He didn't go back and forth to consult with his manager. He came out with a very fair price, and offered us a very fair price for our trade. Two days later we came back and sat with him, then the finance manager to sign the papers. The car was very clean and ready to roll. The gas tank was full. The salesman sat with us in the car and explained how everything worked. I don't expect to buy another car for a long time, but when I do, I will go back to Mastro Subaru and will definitely recommend them to all my friends.

    I was definitely worried about how the quality of service would change when Mastro Subaru became Subaru South Tampa, a few familiar faces have gone but the level of service is still great. I started going to this dealership because of an emergency with my car 5½ years ago, right after I drove down from NY. New to town and broke from the move they ran a diagnostic for no charge and fixed the issue (thankfully it was minor)... this kindness has made me a loyal customer since.     Good experience in general. Andy was an attentive sales person and detail oriented. Didn’t push things for me to buy, rather gave me options when building my car. Finance was open to show me all options and helped me land the best loan deal. Hard to find deals in this market, still I feel I got a good one. Two things I would change: the music they have in the waiting area is too loud and not my personal preference (hard rock). And I had to follow up about the whereabouts of the car after ordered.

    We Came into today looking to lease a new 2022 Subaru Crosstrek at South Tampa Subaru and they didn’t disappoint. We worked with Joseph on the on the sales team and he was he was amazing. Joseph worked with us from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out with our new vehicle, he was very knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. From Joseph to the sales managers, they all worked hard to make sure we got a great deal on our new vehicle, it was a great experience. Everyone working there had a upbeat and friendly attitude allowing us to feel comfortable and welcomed. Even after we were unsure if the deal was not going to happen, Joseph didn’t pressure use to get the vehicle, he was understanding and wanted us to make the right decision for us.     We just bought a 2022 Subaru Forester Limited and could not be more pleased. Our sales person, Melissa, made this the best car buying experience we have ever had. She was personable, organized, flexible, and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. She answered all of our questions and gave a detailed demo of the key features of our new vehicle. There was an issue with one of the wrong accessories being installed on the car and she handled it immediately. She also front loaded our paperwork as well so our time on the lot at delivery was spent more on the features of the car and the test drive than on documentation.     I am blown away at the level of service I received from Subaru South Tampa. I needed most of the plastic fairings under the engine replaced on my 2014 Subaru WRX. I made an appointment for Tuesday morning to have it put on the lift and inspected for what all needed to be replaced. Showed up at 730am, and I was driving the car to work by 830am after it was inspected and a parts list created. They ordered the parts that day and quoted me under $400 for everything. They charged me nothing Tuesday. Got a call Thursday afternoon that all the parts had arrived. Showed up Friday morning at 730am, and they were done by 9am. And charged me less than quoted. This is what I consider exemplary service.

    The inside is roomy and everyone is helpful. Only a 3 because the parking and pull-up for service/sales is chaotic and confusing. Additionally, it seems like only one person was working—I believe his name is Carlos. Others were around, but not able to help (answer phones or questions), or just not trying. Also, this was the first time at a Subaru location that my car was returned unwashed. I’m not sure if it’s just this location, or understaffing or…???, but they didn’t even ask if I wanted it washed.

    I took my 2019 Forester to have an interior detail. I own an English Bulldog who does ride in a crate however his hair does float everywhere in the car. These guys did amazing cleaning every inch of the interior of my car. The windows, seats, rubber mats, carpet, seats, where the shifter is, cup holders, where each of the knobs are, EVERYWHERE!!! Although they didn't need to wash the outside they did anyway. That's above and beyond. I'm very impressed and will definitely be back for my next detail.

    Mike the sales guy was great. ***BEWARE*** of financing options. Prior to sitting down with their financing and purchasing my vehicle, I verified with Sun Coast their rates with my credit score. The Finance Manager stated they sent out financing options to 10+ banking institutions and stated my primary bank Sun Coast Credit Union declined me and they would have to go through one of their Nat'l lenders at a rate of 4.87%. ODD, right? I immediately called Sun Coast and they said they had my application and just approved it for 3% interest. What Subaru does is gets perks having primary lenders such as Chase who has higher at the cost of their customer. Kind of shady. Do your research on financial options before sitting down with them knowing Credit Unions typically have much better interest rates.

    I bought my Subaru outback from this dealer about 5 years ago. Great experience. I love my car still. My daughter just got a used Subaru Forester from another dealer. We brought it into the service department to have them look at it. They were honest, straightforward and told us what it needed. Even got us in on the same day we called. Gave it an oil change and did not try to swindle us on extra work or overcharge us. In fact they were cheaper on the evaluation and the oil change then every other dealership we called and the local oil lube shop that I take my regular car to get the oil changed. Highly recommend.

    For 9 months I have trusted Subaru of South Tampa with my Subarus’ and at this point, I have nothing but positive feedback. To be precise, the service team’s customer service is superb, they are quick to follow up with me to provide a status of my vehicle’s repair , they expedite the delivery of parts for my vehicle and place me in a rental without any issues (when warranted).     The whole team there was very kind. Even when I started to get a little agitated from the time it was taking and the property tax bill on the new ride due.     I called on a Monday and was able to be scheduled for service the next day at 8am. They came to my house, left me a loaner and were off on their way. They had an estimate for me within 2 hours. They fixed everything same day. All of the staff was super polite and helpful and didn't push me to get extra or add-ons unless I wanted. So impressed with their service. Literally solved my issues in less than 24 hrs turn around time. That's great service!

    After being a customer at this Subaru location for nearly 10 years and purchasing 3 Subarus from what was formerly Mastro, I will be taking my lifelong Subaru business elsewhere. On 12/11 I took my 2019 Forester in for routine maintenance and also asked them to look at my radio as the presets had stopped working. I was told it needed an update and it would cost me $70! This is literally for plugging a usb in and updating the software. It’s also the equivalent to Apple charging me every time there is an IOS update. Sounds ridiculous right? That’s because it is. A 2019 should not need a reset in 2021. And of course, it just happened to be right outside my warranty window. I’ve been a very loyal customer to this location and maybe this sounds like a small reason to leave but Subaru you can and should do better, especially for an obviously loyal customer. I give 3 stars for the nice man who checked me in and out and had zero control over the situation yet remained polite and kind the entire time.

    Subaru charged me 100$ diagnostic fee to diagnosis a problem that was connected to a previous problem that was fixed there. When I tried to speak with them about how the issue they changed me for they said it was different. However, they literally charged me to CLEAN a part that was previously fixed.

    I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had at Subaru South Tampa. In 24 years of purchasing new vehicles, I could never describe the purchasing process as “enjoyable” until now. My salesman, Joey Mannone, was friendly and enthusiastic, and wasn’t pushy or obnoxious like salesmen at other dealerships often are. The deal came together in about 30 minutes, and was fair in every respect. Jane, the finance manager, worked hard to get me the best possible rates, and made what is usually the worst part of the buying experience pleasant. Looks like I’ll have some pleasant weeks ahead while I get acquainted with my new Forester. For anyone in the Tampa Bay area (or anywhere in Florida, really) who’s in the market for a new Subaru, I highly recommend that you finish your search there.

    I love this Subaru dealer but loved it more when it was Mastro Subaru. I like dealing with friendly dealers that take care of its crew. I must admit that I do not know the reasons but lately when I go back for service and seek out my sales person they no longer work there. It has happened three times in a short period of time. Again it is still my favorite brand and dealer.

    I started my car buying experience at Mastro in Feb 2017 but I wasn't quite ready to buy a vehicle yet. I just wanted to do a test drive and get a quote on a new 2017 Crosstrek as I researched some other options as well, and that is exactly what happened. I never felt pressured to buy right then and there, and was able to walk out of the dealership with ease on multiple visits (something I haven't experienced at some other dealerships). In fact, when I mentioned I wasn't ready to buy yet, I was asked if I could be contacted again in June! (I was expecting them to say in a week LOL) I really appreciated the stress free interaction I first had, so when the 2018 Crosstrek was announced, I knew I wanted to wait for it. Sure enough, it actually wasn't until July that I was contacted again by Mastro, which is when I informed them of my interest in the 2018 Crosstrek. About a week later, the first 2018 was on their lot, and I got a phone call to test drive it, and test drive it I did (First one to test drive a 2018 Crosstrek at Mastro, woohoo!). I got a quote for the package I was interested in, and they did not disappoint for being such a brand new vehicle. Before I knew it, the package and color I wanted arrived on the lot and I was able to drive away with the car I wanted (and I've been loving it). The team there is laid back and I really appreciated the stress free car buying experienced Luis and Tim provided and I love my 2018 Crosstrek! (my first Subaru) - also, they offer free oil changes for the life of the vehicle... that was certainly a plus buying from Mastro! Thank you Luis and Tim! I'm happy to be part of the Mastro and Subaru family now!

    We bought our Forester back in 2014 and have been going back for oil changes and service ever since. They have free oil changes for life, which is really nice. Each time I have gone, the service has been completed in less than an hour. They have a nice lounge with snacks and the people working there are friendly. I'd definitely recommend.

    Subaru of South Tampa is a great little dealership. We were able to get the vehicle we wanted at just about the price we wanted during these hectic pandemic auto price times. Like any auto buying experience, one has to haggle a deal. The haggling wasn't all that bad. They gave a pretty good offering and were wilking to adjust a little even when we were there way past closing time. I don't think many places would have done that, especially knowing the prices vehicles are going for and how fast new vehicles are going for. But they did, and the whole process took roughly 4 hours from arriving to leaving with a new vehcle. Melissa Bruce our sales agent was very friendly, kind, and attentive. Even when the initial offer and subsequent offers were made. We are just over whelmed with joy for our new vehicle. Will definitely keep this dealership in mind next time we are in the business of purchasing a vehicle. We are happy with this experience and can't wait to put this vehicle to use with many, many trips.

    I had the 60k miles service done. They make easy. I scheduled an appointment online 3 or 4 days ahead for 7:30 AM. The 60k maintenance takes awhile, lots of stuff. So they let me have a loaner car so I could go to work. No charge for the loaner, just put gas in. Nice loaner! Practically new 2021 Outback XT! Matt called me about noon to let me know they were finished and I could pick my car up anytime before 5:00 PM. Matt is very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, and sometimes I can ask a lot of questions! When I take my car to Subaru South Tampa I don’t have to worry about anything. I know they will do everything right.

    While service staff were polite, they told me they couldn't find a problem with a tire that I knew was leaking. I took the car to another service shop and they found the problem quickly. Recommend going elsewhere for car issues beyond regular maintenance.

    Let me start by saying I hate buying cars. I find the entire process painful. That said, Mike and the team at South Tampa made the very long day that is buying a car as painless as possible. From the moment I walked in the door they were courteous, professional, and helpful. They had exactly what I was looking for and made getting the accessories I wanted easy.     I bought my Forester from Maestro 6 years ago, and other than today, I've only ever had one not-great service experience. But today was the worst and I will never be back. I came in for regular service and to have my AC looked at, 3/4 vents have been running only slightly cool. They eventually told me that there was a problem and it would be $3000 to replace it. What they failed to tell me was that they could not put freon back into the system, and if I chose not to spend 3K I would be left without ANY A/C at all. After driving away and realizing I was getting only warm air, I went back, to be told I was SOL. I will be purchasing another car this year, and Subaru is now off my list.

    I arrived this morning (1/27/21) at 8:22 AM for my 8:30 AM appointment. I was assured that my oil change, tire rotation, and trunk service would take no more than an hour. At 8:52 AM, my service was complete. This was my third experience at Subaru of South Tampa, formerly Mastro Subaru, and their service team is top notch. Would have purchased my Subaru from them, but they didn’t have my exact specs. You guys are awesome!

    This is the best dealership with the greatest employees!! BIG thanks to Gabby, Mike, Mike B and Lisa!!! When we were looking for a new car, we went to Toyota, Chevy, Kia, Land Rover and Nissan. Nothing compared to the Subaru with price, safety features, warranty AND awd. Every dealership we went to was using the “chip shortage” and “car shortage” to take advantage of the customers. Not this dealership, I paid the same price as the Subaru website, no games. We were so impressed with them that we reserved another Subaru for our daughter that is being delivered in 2 weeks. 😁

    I want to start by saying that the people are friendly and polite; not only my specific sales person, but everyone I encountered while I was there. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this dealership and my experience purchasing a vehicle from them. I traded a leased vehicle into the dealership and leased a new Subaru on 1/30/21. First, the contract was incorrect, which was blamed on the system being new. New paperwork had to signed, that delay led to me having to pay for BOTH the vehicle I traded in and the new Subaru. As of 3/15/21 Subaru still hasn't completed the necessary steps to truly finalize the deal, despite telling me on several occasions that it was, and for the second month I have had to pay for BOTH cars. The finance manager said he would call me back, that was 4 days ago, I have heard nothing. I have had to continuously follow up on their mistakes/errors. The salesperson told me, "If you trade your vehicle in to us, you won't have to worry about it anymore" - a completely false statement. If there was a way I could terminate the new lease I signed, return the vehicle, and retrieve my old vehicle without penalty - I would gladly do so, in a heartbeat. Nothing other than apologies have been offered for this inconvenience. But I get several calls, emails and texts when they need me to make a payment or sign new docs; it's quite ridiculous. Needless to say, I will NOT be using this dealership again.

    I worked with Scott via email, and he was thorough, and quick to respond to questions. I was very satisfied with the deal I got, and there were absolutely no surprises. Once I met him in person he continued to impress me with his willingness to go over all the features in the car, a test drive, etc. He was very patient with all my questions. Julio was the “closer”, handling the finance end of the deal. He was friendly and extremely efficient. We were very happy with our entire experience.

    This team was absolutely awesome. My husband and I have relocated to Florida from New York recently and needed an oil change and other service done. They made the transition super easy. The team was very helpful and throughout. Also, they provided us with a detail handout of what was done and what was found. They explained everything.     We like South Tampa Subaru but had a so so experience today with the service department. That’s why it’s only 3 stars. My wife went in with a coupon for oil change and tire rotation and instead a 12,000 mile service was done and a cabin filter was replaced sounds ok but filter was changed just 6 months ago and 4,000 miles ago. The charge was almost $50 extra dollars. We did call to complain and I give South Tampa Subaru credit, the service writer did agree to issue a refund for the cabin air filter. I hope this was a honest mistake and not up selling.

    After months of researching and thinking about my car purchase, I went to Mastro Subaru. Tommy, the salesperson, was super nice and down-to-earth, not a typical pushy in-your-face car salesman. I really liked that. During the few months I worked with Tommy before coming in, he was never pushy. The negotiation process was so much better than I have ever experienced when buying a car. The finance process was also smooth. Julio was also very nice and great to work with. He was patient, detailed, and not pushy. Overall, I had a great experience with Mastro. I really appreciate their low key methods instead of the typical pushy tactics I've experienced at other dealerships. Thank you Tommy and Julio for showing me that all car dealership are not alike.

    My first oil change for my Subaru Crosstrek was absolutely amazing! I made an appointment for 12:45 I showed up a little early….12:00 to be exact. They took my vehicle in changed the oil and rotated my tires within 30min. I was out BEFORE my appointment. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Glad I purchased my Subaru at Subaru of South Tampa.     This service was amazing! I went thru the express oil change - done in less than 30 minutes! That might not sound like much when you can go through some of these other express oil and lube places a lot quicker but this one was free, as are all my oil changes at Subaru.

    I have suddenly gotten a few warning lights that came on and had to get towed to this dealership- I dealt with Matt who was super nice and explained everything to me what’s going on.
