The men in here radiate nothing but toxic masculinity. They’ll laugh in your face if your most prized/expensive possession is a “knock off” that you’re trying to sell just to make ends meet. Horrible attitudes, horrible customer service, and overall simply mean. Not everyone can afford the nicest of things. So screw you guys for laughing at people who are desperate for money and try to sell something that may not seem nice to you but is nice to us poor people. Seriously though, a simple we aren’t interested in that would’ve gone a long ways.

Decent selection of items, but don’t dare ask any questions about the tools. I was looking at 6-7 different tools and asked “do you guys offer any discounts if I were to purchase multiple items” was told do you go to Walmart and ask the same thing? I said never mind and went to put the an item I had in my hands back and was told did you know we have security cameras 🤦‍♂️

I actually contacted State Street Jewelry and Pawn through their online sales and was lucky enough to get connected with Alyssa. Alyssa was so helpful and polite as well as informative. The prices that she gave me on items that I deal with on a normal basis we're better than accurate they were a good deal. On top of that she ensured that my item was ready to go and convenient for pickup. If you're going to go anywhere to buy items I would definitely check State Street Jewelry and Pawn first because these people are top-notch and their inventory is legit.

Absolutely appalled at the customer service you provided to my daughter today. She just recently moved to Salem to start her new life. She needed to sell some items for her bills The gentlemen with the handicapped hand actually laughed in her face and made fun of the items she brought in. You made fun of her items and didn’t even know what they were, you did not even look them up to see their value, just made fun of a young adult just trying to make it. Thank you sir for representing my home state with your cowardice and making my daughter feel worse than what she already does instead of asking for charity or help she was trying to do what she could and you knocked her even lower. Way to go. You sir, of all people should know what it feels like to be made fun of and yet you have no shame doing it to others. Disgusting even for a pawn shop

Believe me, this is the pawnshop of all pawnshops.. It's the knowledgeable, beyond friendly and honest staff the separate State Street Pawn from all the other shops in town.
